Wow perfect as I really wanted mica paints watercolour , but have spent so much money on craft supplies recently it just seems silly when I have mica. So this is perfect, thank you 😊👍🏼

Hi. The measurement tool is the same size for everything I used. I wasnt exact so some ingredients were more than others. You dont need to be so exact.
The clay is kaolin clay. Very common and can be found online or possibly in some natural stores like whole foods. So dont worry about being exact, just keep the rations around 4 parts mica, 1 part gum arabic and 1 part kaolin clay. That helps you no matter what size measuring tool you are using. I hope that helps. If you still have questions please feel free to reach out again. Good luck! :)

Could you guys please tell me what the clay is for, and how it'd be different if you didn't use it

Is the Kaolin to make them more like a gouache than a watercolor ? What brands of honey and clove oil did you use ?

Hi, Just found your video and am wondering what purpose the Kalolin clay has in the mixture. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for this! Im def gonna try it since I have almost all on hand and it will keep me from buying expencive sparkly watercolor haha... So you said 2 ml on 4 parts of mica. But then how much is one part of mica? I cannot see how big your scoop is?

Thank you for the demo but I'm a bit confused. The measuring tool you use for the mica and gum Arabic seems about half the size of the one you used for the clay and yet you say the measurements are 4-1-1 respectively. Could you please clarify this? Also, I can't find "calen clay" anywhere. Could you please provide the name (spelling) and a possible source. Found gum Arabic on Amazon. And one last question you admitted to putting in too much of the wet, you did say you could correct adding more gum and clay but never said how much liquid should be added to avoid having to rework the recipe. Is it 1ml? 2ml?

Look for micro lab scoop/spoon. Amazon has them.
