I lived here on Ricketts Court, last house on the left facing the farm, closest to the fence. I loved seeing my old bedroom window! We were there from 1987-1990. We played at the playground, threw pebbles in the creek and ate berries off brambles in the summer, walked to all our friends' houses--even at young ages. Such a safe, beautiful, peaceful life, my most treasured childhood memories!
Thank you for posting this. We lived there in 1974 to 1978. I wish you had gone further toward where the school was once. I lived in that last row of houses right before it. Oh, the memories that this video brought back. Best years of my choldhood!!!
This video is amazing!!! My parents and I were just looking for videos of Edzell for fun, because we used to live in RAF Edzell back in the early 80s when I was a little girl. Imagine our delight as we see that you are videoing from the house right next to where we lived! Would it be possible for you to take a video of the woods back there? I used to play in those woods, and all of us neighborhood kids called them “the bunkers“. It was my favorite place. And there were some big rocks that I think were made of chalk? We used to carve into them. In the area behind your house there used to be a playground, with swings, slide, merry go round. And there was a creek in the woods. We had so much fun. Such special memories :-)

We lived down in the last set of houses before the school in the 80s, and there was a BMX track in those woods across the street. Such fond memories!
We lived a couple blocks away in the late 80s, and we played at that same playground and in those same woods! Just the best childhood.
