I agree with your thoughts - I don't think the delay will affect the hype very much because the people who are watching Season 5 have been loyal fans for years since Season 1. Anybody who was going to just "forget about the show" and watch the new shiny show instead wouldn't even care to be watching Season 5 anyways.
@ no there’s 15 episodes in total for Season 5. I don’t know why HIDIVE is showing just 12. But regardless it’s better than getting a rushed product even if it was just one episode
@@jakobetheanimevtuber4102 that’s a lie dude. JC Staff announced that season 5 would be delayed indefinitely a few days after episode 11 which I think was the Monday before Christmas. Then 2-3 days later in the week they came out & said that it is delayed till Spring 2025. So no they did not wait that long to get the announcement on when the season is returning. Look let’s just be happy that we know when season is returning especially knowing so quickly usually it would take month or 2 till we know when a season on delay is coming back, yes does the cliffhanger suck but it is what it is. But no this didn’t take long to announce
@@camfrey15 nah what im trying to say is why wait til after episode 11 to state a delay? unless of course they found a mistake last minute but if they knew something was wrong they should have informed their fans earlier, i mean but then again i cant get that mad cause i watch it on pirate sites...
@@jakobetheanimevtuber4102 all animes/manga hell even American tv shows announce delays to a series of theirs after an episode aired going into the next episode, if and I mean IF production issues become a problem for the show. Especially on the fly. For example in anime because these animators are literally worked to death (it is very detailed how bad the working environment in anime/manga is in Japan) these animators if behind on schedule tend to try to rush their animation jobs to meet the deadline of getting the episode released. Mind you these are very short deadlines. So if you add in rushing to get an episode out, then the when it comes out people complain about how bad the animation looks. That’s why these studios announce delays after an episode is released is because they may see that their employees are being overworked and can’t make the deadlines to have a successful episode for their series come out. I don’t know if you new to watching anime but this is a common trend. Like I mentioned in the video Misfits of Demon King Academy did the same, Zom 100 did the same. There are other anime’s I have watched that went on delay for production issues and announced it after an episode aired. Hell if you have been paying attention S5 of Danmachi has already done that. They went on a 1 week delay a few weeks ago for production issues and announced it a few days after the latest episode released. I mean this with all due respect but you sound like your just upset that Danmachi announced there is a delay and it won’t be back for a while and you got left on a cliffhanger you felt is unsatisfying. Yes it sucks but Spring is not far. We have about 3-4 month wait. I have waited years for anime’s to return, if I can do that you want wait 3-4 months for Danmachi to return.
Thanks for the info!

yo, isn't this shit only 12 episodes for season 5? they are really postponing till next year for one episode?

@@camfrey15 my question is why they waited this long to tell us it was going to be delayed... like we ended with bell getting massacred...
