For not being a very big operation you have a great looking shop everything is kept in a professional manner that also includes your equipment Trevor seems to be very knowledgeable try keeping him around as long as possible and don't let one of the big mega carriers snatch him up.
Frame rails are a big project, I'm excited to watch the process. My truck is double framed and it will have to get rails some day when the rust jacking is bad enough, and it will be changed over to single 1/2" rails. We just painted my truck a very dark blue/gray and silver 2 tone, the dark color is actually Mopar's Maximum Steel Metallic. I'm happy with how it turned out, it looks amazing in the sunshine.
Good evening Justin i said this before on the original video perfect opportunity to make it a show slash work truck going this deep might as well no rush please do stretch it every truck shop has it's baby when its done only you drive it cuz if i was in your shoes going this deep into it interior and all the amount of $$$ trust me nobody's driving it except me like always love your videos stay safe God bless
Ok, a blue maybe a bright metallic blue or a hunter green…..I love that truck as is…….GM has a deep ocean blue they used a few years ago, 2014 thru 2018, I had one before my Patriot Blue RAM……
Flip the colors with your other trucks and do a blue frame and black cab or blue frame and silver cab would look good as well. Cant wait to watch this project
I’ve bought frame rails from Adams before. They were perfect. Not one single problem. I would suggest you have the mill scale sandblasted off, then primed and painted. all the spots you can’t get in one it’s assembled. Then do the whole thing as a rolling chassis . Just a suggestion, but I’ve had very good luck that way.
Good afternoon sir Justin, great to hear you in good spirit and having a positive and productive attitude, yessir! You’re able to still make miles and money, that’s a great thing. Looking forward in seeing the fruits of your labor. Oh yeah, the color Purple represents royalty. Great content and info like always 💯💯💯

only takes 8 to 10 hours to do a frame rail, just unbolt everything and slide it out the rear, no need to remove any body components, lots of jack stands. you can buy frame rails from kw or pete, dry ice blasting to remove paint,
Lol I agree make it 20-24 inches longer and I think the blue with a black frame looks great I seen one of your truck's out on the big road but he didn't have his cb volume up I'm guessing. Keep up the great work your crew is getting it done amazing crew your blessed and a little bit of luck
Stick with your blue with black frame, stainless steps and wrap the fuel tank in stainless. She's gonna go e you another 2 million miles after all that oh and Trevor is the man. Happy trails stay safe 👍
I'd shorten it up a bit. You can't straighten that frame rail? I've found the best way to get them straight is to slowly apply force and hold the force overnight. That way the internal stresses created by the bending have time to relax. That darn NY salt is murder. Do you run any double frame trucks? What do you do to prevent rust jacking? Even down here in Hazleton I see terrible frame rust jacking, sometimes so bad that the frame rails split in trucks that are only about 10 years old.
You know thatMotor is a Good Tight Motor it didn’t roll over two Revolutions then fired up. 20 Degrees and Not Plugged in. That tell a Whole lot about your Company’s Maintenance Program.
I know there are different frame thicknesses depending on the spec of the truck, do you happen to know what this particular trucks frame material thickness is ?. As to what caused the frame being tweaked, I wonder if pulling on one of the frame inserts ( rather than an even pull between the two frame rails ) could cause damage such as this.
@@flintcreektransport Yes, please do that and post back as I am really curious about that and it may or may not prove invaluable information in the future for trucks you spec out or use for certain extra tough jobs.
Would it really be that big of a deal though to just replace the bad side and leave the good sign alone? Assuming they were the exact same specs and everything (that could be the tricky part)
Why can't you just have the rail/truck straightened ? I think it is a fairly common thing to have done, no different than any other type of body work. Thanks for the video.

That’s cool. My old truck was a ram 1500 that color
Can't wait to see frame replacement job. Very interesting 🤔

I love your attitude. And that you want to save that truck. Most would junk it. It should be 300 wheel base. It would look amazing.
All the trucks are beautiful in my eyes, keep up the fantastic work on bringing us the status of the trucks.
Thanks, will do!

Since you're putting a flat glass cab and aero1 sleeper on, you should do a classy 70s/80s 2 or 3 tone paint job.
Flip the colors with your other trucks and do a blue frame and black cab or blue frame and silver cab would look good as well. Cant wait to watch this project
Terrific company. Great attitude!
PJ Adams frame rails are TOP NOTCH

My vote for the colors, House of Kolor eclips orange with pavo purple frame and fenders!
Awesome. 300 midnight blue
Get 285"wb frame rails, paint the frame in a deep blue color & paint the cab black.
stretched 285-290 wheelbase would look nice gloss black frame and cab a metallic galactic blue
I'm with Trevor 10 ft longer, lol. Justin is a business and convenience guy. The shop looks amazing. I hope one day I can visit there.

Leave it as it was made. Absolutely correct on rails
good stuff Justin great management can't wait for the results.
The cab & sleeper can been reskinned & add 2 new frame rails on the other project trucks
Yes. It can be but then it’s down for a long time. I still might do that but put it on a different truck
I would love to see you stretch that truck and I will order some merch to help pay for the stretch thank you my brother have a great day

EMERALD GREEN WITH SILVER AND GOLD FLAKE AND BLACK STRIPES
Hi Justin love the variety of trucks you have in your fleet. Great working shoo as we'll
When you say "rails" do you mean two separate rails, or two rails with the cross members installed ? Should be a interesting and very big project. 👍👍
Complete frame railed. Front to back
No crossmembers
This is a very beautiful truck. It deserves to live on.
290 wheelbase would look nice 😂
And I think the color of 144 would look sweet

I did,nt know that you guys ran to North Carolina. Anyways, awesome trucks, really beautiful. Keep up the good work.
Every once in awhile
Turquoise with cream color would be nice choice

We don’t have double frame trucks …. Yes our salt brine up here kills trucks
Let Trevor stretch it just a tiny bit lol he deserve it.
Cobalt blue or candy apple red and 290” wheel base
A 300 or 305 would look Real nice , But I snapshot the fifth wheel and I can tell by the fifth wheel , the frames been It's up on the right side
The problem with a long wheelbase is we get into tight spots. Prolly 280 max.
@@flintcreektransport I understand 280 be nice

Guys, how backed up is P.G. Adams. Lots of people are rebuilding rather than replacing their trucks, right now????
Best wishes from the far North.
Many guys are rebuilding !!
@@flintcreektransport Unless things have changed in the last 3 months.
May as well go on up to 300"...... that guy that made those bumper lights you showed a good while back, are they available for purchase yet?? Thx
Yea. You can get them from Martin truck service but they don’t sell online. Shoot me a email if you want the number.
@@flintcreektransportwhat's your email....
I'd go longer and paint it blue with some red on the outside and do the interior the same
Hey Justin 😊
Hi
Try powder coating the new frame rails.
Possible. I dont know exact thickness but I’ll look into it
@@flintcreektransport Yes, please do that and post back as I am really curious about that and it may or may not prove invaluable information in the future for trucks you spec out or use for certain extra tough jobs.
Any FCT trucks have double frames? Save them for the fun stuff.
Ha yes. Unfortunately 1 does
it should be painted antimatter blue like the ford color
Order placed…….
I think you should make it a twin to trk.144.
That would be kinda cool
Blue 300in. wb and 112 inch Double Eagle Sleeper all redone ?
Ha. No
Would it really be that big of a deal though to just replace the bad side and leave the good sign alone? Assuming they were the exact same specs and everything (that could be the tricky part)
Yes because 1 side would not be as stiff allowing it to flex more
awesome
How much off Justin own of flint creek transportation
It’s a partnership.
Was this truck black at one time?
Yes…… I need to get original color. But that was my bad
👍👍👍🏿👍🏿
That was gonna be my question is are you going to stretch it? 😂 I say longer like 320. it is one of my favorite trucks of yalls it has a great stance
Haha. That’s a lil long
Why can't you just have the rail/truck straightened ? I think it is a fairly common thing to have done, no different than any other type of body work. Thanks for the video.
We can. But it’s almost the price of a rails and then a risk of it not getting 💯……. I’d rather do it right the first time
Stretch it...
If the truck is not pulling to either side or wearing out tires why bother replacing the rails ? Seems like a waste of time an resources too me.
cab and sleeper are already coming off....we are going to continue to run till the end of the year
