I just got recommended your work 10 minutes ago. Your ability to balance between different sample libraries is pretty darn good, and the mix is nice too. Keep going!
Haha, I've never been one for making tutorial videos where I'm talking - too self conscious lol. In terms of mixing, my workflow is actually very simple, and I tend to do it as I compose (which a lot of people will frown on, but hey it works). For orchestral stuff like this, I always just use the stock Logic EQ and reverb (Space Designer), and not much else. As for the libraries, they're listed in the description of the piece this snippet was taken from. I'll always maintain that it doesn't matter which libraries you use though, rather it's all about how well you know them (and also how well you know the orchestra as an ensemble!). I'm also a big advocate for playing everything into your DAW via a MIDI keyboard rather than drawing the notes and automation in. Make sure to constantly ride that modwheel too, especially for the brass! The orchestration more or less follows established practices - in other words, I always write as if I'm writing for live players. But yeah, if you have questions about anything in particular, let me know!
Goodness!! Dynamics beautifully executed!
@@azure_sapphire Thank you!

This was awesome. Subbed. Please do make tutorial content on this. Mixing, libraries and how you used them, composition, orchestration etc.

that's incredible, I got recommended and clicked expecting a lot more views given the quality of your work. I had to watch the others too.
That means a lot, thanks so much - and cheers for checking out my other stuff too!

Wow, you did an amazing job! What libraries do you use?
@@brandonechols Hey thanks so much! All the libraries used are listed in the description of the full piece (linked in this video's description).
What libraries bro?
They're in the description of the full piece :)
VIUS makes the best transitions, all other composers have inferior transitions
Ok but the ones in Typhoon were pretty baller though
@@VIUSmusic the best wind, is roundy-roundy wind
Very quiet in the middle
