      Super solid… I love the innovative design and use of composite materials. 4wheelcampers still has a lower entry point, and as many customizable options. I think it’s great that those in the Pacific Northwest have this as an option like I have 4wheel campers in California for mine. Friendly competition brings out the best in both products. CONGRATULATIONS on the designs and offerings.

    How is this in very rainy conditions like we find in the PNW a lot. How waterproof is the fabric pop-up sides? And is the propane line compatible with the Jetboil Basecamp or other camp stoves if order without your stove?

    • @ScoutCampers
      @ScoutCampers  11 дней назад +1

      Great in the rain. The fabric material is co-design with GFC and is similar to their roof top tents. It's water, UV, and mold resistant.

    • @lifeaftereverything4986
      @lifeaftereverything4986 11 дней назад

      @@ScoutCampers thanks, so it’s not fully water proof? From the looks of the video the fabric looks pretty thin; so like most tents it will eventually saturate and be wet inside (bedding etc or anything touching the walls). That’s not good especially since weather in the PNW is very rainy in the winter. Would have thought you guys would make it better since you live there and know what I’m talking about.

    Can you explain what’s innovative specifically? I’ve seen plenty of pop ups exactly like this, even composite like yours. I think you’re misunderstanding what innovation means

    • @ScoutCampers
      @ScoutCampers  Месяц назад

      Good question, the innovative piece is our lift mechanism. The majority of pop-ups are very difficult to lift, and they require lifting in sections (front then back). This is why they offer lift motors as an option. Ours can be deployed in one single motion, and once the lift is started, the struts do the majority of the work.

    • @mikestevens2053
      @mikestevens2053 11 дней назад

      I have yet to see one in person, but I’m hoping the lift mechanism is simple, and imparts stability in the deployed position. Pop ups like these don’t do great in wind, and some use electric motors with no option for manual override in case of motor failure. I’m also hoping the tent itself is robust and well designed to resist water intrusion. Checking these boxes would qualify as “ innovative “ IMO

    I really want to buy it. Please open a factory in Thailand. There is cheap labor and huge market demand. It can also be easily exported to other Asian countries. A large number of North Americans, Europeans, and East Asians travel or live their retirement life in Thailand. I think they will all like your products very much.
