I’ve been playing Hay Day for years and have always loved how relaxing it felt to take care of my farm. But lately, the game feels more and more demanding - constant events, long production times (4 hours for a salad!), and very expensive machines. It’s starting to feel like a full-time job instead of a fun escape. Please slow things down a bit, especially in December - we all need some time to breathe and enjoy the holidays. ✨️❤️
Edit for anyone who didn’t get my point: I know participation isn’t mandatory and everyone can choose which events to join, but almost every event is still focused on decorations. It would be nice if the focus could shift sometimes - for example, more puzzle pieces, more expansion materials, or other useful rewards. Also, Tom isn’t balanced: we hire him for 24 hours, but have to wait 2 hours after each use, and he can’t help with expansion materials. Meanwhile, we still get 3 new book collections of decorations each month, which makes me lose the pleasure of playing. Even the events I choose to focus on are always about decorations or XP. So what’s the point of having so many events one after another when the main reward is just decorations?

Derby at the same time as farmpass, truck or other events, etc. is just too much.
The passionate player doesn't want to miss out on anything, but too much is too much.
We all have a regular job to do, at least those willing to pay for diamonds, decoration and such, who are the same who keep HayDay alive financially.

I’ve been saying they need a tool shed. No need for all these upgrade items to be where you store your eggs it’s just silly and not balanced.

...and they make more money when they have more contests and features. With many things costing diamonds, I have reached my limit. As other have said, it isn't as fun anymore. It was fun for a while and I have loved the graphics and game as a whole. It just is not sustainable and Im not willing to spend so much each month to play.

I feel/believe that we may be having more land open up but on the town side. Has anyone noticed how they are pushing map pieces,stakes,mallets? And of course deeds! My barn is stuffed with these things. I’m probably daydreaming! 🤪

i just want more decos that make my farm feel like a farm! As much as i enjoy dedicating little areas to the deco themes you could at least give us some more land to work with? expand the town and beach area a little more to be able to place these decos or expand the farm over the bridge behind the boat orders

I see so many farms packed so tight with decorations that I can't find a tree to tap. I don’t thing it looks good. I’m about done and I’ve been playing since it started.

I find all the tasks overwhelming, and I can't download the free decorations. I was asked to send a photo of the decoration in question. It doesn't stay on the screen long enough so I've given up.
@gemmagem257 i’m pretty sure this is all done with AI. You can never get a response from a person if you send in a message. It’s really ridiculous. What they charge for decorations and most of them sit in storage because there’s not enough room to use them on my farm. I have started using a lot of them in the zoo area since it takes so long to get a new animal I hate the fact that they start on another animal before you even finish the last one so it takes longer and longer just to get another animal. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I think I’m gonna look for another game to play that is similar but better.

It's not like Supercell will confiscate your farm if you are not playing or not doing events. You can always skip them. What's the problem?
You are not obliged to do all events, of course, if you want to do is your option. More level up and you can do all.

I hope you and everyone else realizes you can always put the item or items in storage right to where if you Don't want that thing on your farm right now you put it in storage to use later. As you don't need to place every fn thing you win or buy as a prize on your farm or town as it causes you game to run slowly

I have been a hay-day player for 13 years. It used to make me feel relaxed. But lately, I feel like it is too much that turns into taking a huge place of my life. I just want to play a game. I don't want to spend my hours or days for just a game.

@tmwright33. Everybody in your neighborhood should be doing the same thing. If they're doing the same amount of work, they should be pretty easy to do. A lot of these other farmer neighbors are not so helpful. And that's why they don't get good prizes. I'm starting to get some lazy neighbors in my neighborhood as well.
I feel the same way. I used to like the game precisely because it was not demanding only on some occasions and if I had the opportunity I participated in the events, but now there are only events and collections and that's kind of stressful.
Supercell sold out sadly, all the forums, customer service closed down and neverending new ways of making money introduced instead :(

Let us buy things like hats and decorations with diamonds and not just real money. We work hard for those diamonds, and we can't even buy rare decorations. Some us don't have extra real life money to spend on video games.

yes !!! I wish they focused on things we already have. like pausing tom when we go to sleep, private chats with friends, night mode or evening mode, asking tom for lures and expansion tools you know I used to play Hay Day as a relaxing game when I was stressed out, but I feel like between the derby, the task events, the 20 tasks. I have to complete daily. It just stresses me out.

@pathoversten9984the items for expansion shouldn't affect the silo and barn negatively. So those items either need their own storage or shouldn't count against the total allotment.
something no one talks about is that the decorations don’t go with each other, the sewing machine doesn’t go with the laundry rack or the laundry tub or the loom and hat maker, can’t put anything together because is not aesthetically pleasing
So true I really like doing my farm up with decorations but you get 5 fences , then never them again, it’s also expensive I use Rose and Ernerst they can’t find the problem, I’ve had numerous conversations with supercell about it. And the amount of time it takes to make all the feed is an all day very slow event . I put a raspberry smoothie in and it took 3 hours , if things don’t change were we can get everything done I’m actually going to delete the game , I’m at a very high level and it hasn’t got better.
Fully agreed with you. Been playing for years, it was relaxing and fun to kill spare time at first but now it giving more and more stress. Tom hiring is not balanced, yes, also we wasted so much time for Tom to wait during our sleeping time at night, there should be a way to pause him while we are sleeping.

What irks me are the scrolls. There’s a woman in our neighborhood that has over 60 scrolls but can’t use them anymore. Her land has been cleared. So instead of being allowed to sell them to help others she’s stuck with them. It would be so helpful to allow those to be sold just like the land expansion tools.
Same here except I am the person with too many scrolls! They put them for sale in the events but even if I try to buy one to get rid of rhe leftover currency item from event it won’t let me do it then… I don’t know how many I have but can’t use them…so 🤷🏻♀

I’ve been playing for 12 years and it really relaxes me but it’s just too hard to expand your barn and silo. You can never find the tools last time. I watered my animals. I got like eight axes and no tools to expand I had to buy silo tools. I just can’t afford that things are costing more and more to play and taking more and more time. I have actually thought about quitting because I’m not willing to spend any more money on this game something’s gotta change.
Playing since past 10 years and it was my stress buster. Now it's more like a job with this every day events to catch up on. Rare items are so rare that a player with level 700+ couldn't even expanded all of his area. LOL.

I agree that there are too many events back-to-back and I am spending SO MUCH time trying to keep up. I love events and earning new themed props, but at a much slower pace. Just keeping the farm going and helping friends on their farms takes time. I want to keep playing Hay Day, but as of late I am thinking I need to give it up as it is taking over all my time. Hopefully I won’t need to do that.
Please add a chat option for friends on our Friends List. We can chat in the Neighborhood, so it would be great to chat with friends too. It will help with trading, coordinating help, making new friendships, and keeping in touch with friends who are in different neighborhoods. This small feature would make the game a lot more fun and social!

It would be great if, regarding the sanctuary part, the puzzle pieces, we could choose which animal to fit... For example, I'll only get the capybara in, I don't know... 5 years?? That's a long time, and besides, the pieces are randomly assigned to three different animals... I think it would be cool if we could choose to assemble it ourselves.

I agree with most of the views ,I've been playing for just over 10 years and probably spent hundreds of pounds and thousands at hours lol ,I'm really considering deleting hay day,I'm bored, fed up with buying this and that and my neighbours are sticklers for getting all tasks done or they'll throw you out ,,,so hayday give us something back your all getting rich and we are getting poorer,
I agree with you, I’m playing for more than 10 years to I’m the leader of my neighbourhood, but All is really expensive, Tom the helper, and Rose and Ernest, we need them to helping us out with production, it is to much money to keeping them. My farm is big but land is not enough to show all our stuff. Now we can’t help out our farmers, especially with Derby’s, everything is hard to do, no matters how long we be there, I have family, and now is family o Hay Day. So I decided to lose all the money already inverted because if I keep doing this game I will lose no only money the love of my family and friends. Is to bad but every time they update the game is a lot of things to do.

What is happening with the production times? For me a fish soup takes 6 hours but a cakes just 3 min? It make no sense and it make you play too much, everything shoul be similar in the 1/2 hours range otherwise you feel obligated to play all day and it is not good
I think it's a beta testing deal for the upper level players. I'm 170+ and have all of those changes, some times went up, others down. My wife is at level 59 - 60 and her's hasn't changed.

It would be awesome to have the possibility to create own categories in the storage. We have "nature" or "fences and paths" at the moment but I would love to create my own categories that suit my needs, e.g. "Christmas" or "Halloween" or "Autumn" etc. I have so many decorations that i sometimes forget that I have them or scroll past them. If I could create my own categories that would help a lot with keeping the decorations storage organised :)
Thanks for the content, I'd like to see fewer decorations. I know the game needs money, but I feel like we're focusing more on the decorations than the gameplay itself. I'd like them to add another machine, like a raw material machine, that changes the way the game is played, for example the dairy or the sugar mill, or the animal feed mill, or implement Something new in the town, which hasn't seen a new building or visitors in a long time.

I have played Hay Day since it started and loved it, but now the fun is leaving with so many things going on at the same time. It seems like you can't get everything you need for the books unless you spend real money which I will not do.

Please don't stop with the events. I love having something to do every day in Hay Day, and the arguments against that are ridiculous. "Full-time job?" Huh? Who is forcing these people to play? You DON'T have to participate in every event, and you don't have to play Hay Day at all if it's so difficult for you. Also, you aren't "forced" to spend money to play. Thanks, guys, for the fun events and great decos!!!

Thank you, you read my mind!!! I don't always win every event I play, but hey, you win some you lose some-which is the point of a game! And I've noticed some decos I've missed in the past, have come back for another event later on. I think a good idea could be to add the decos to where you can buy them with coins sometime after the event is over so that ones that didn't have the chance to win them can still have a chance to get which ones they were looking forward to. But outside of that, a lot of these comments stray away from being "constructive criticism" and feel more like entitled demands in my personal opinion :/ I hope those comments don't discourage the Hay Day team from the effort they've put in to add a lil something for everyone!

Honestly idk why everyone is complaining about “having to many events” but I only like to play hayday during the task events. It’s kinda boring without them because I don’t like the derby. Also it’s a fun way to get decorations and stuff. Plus I’m a full time uni student + a job and I still have time to play and do the task events

Uh, I have an unpopular opinion as compared to most of these comments. I think having a lot of options for tasks to do is fun, you don’t necessarily have to do ALL of the tasks and events. However, I can see how not completing them can be disappointing because you won’t get the decoration you were wanting. Perhaps maybe make the tasks more achievable for the average working class to be able to still relax but also get the things they are wanting out of every task. For example, maybe make the decoration closer to the beginning of the rewards instead of the end? Also, in the design competitions, can we can get the same editing tools we have when editing our farms?! Like I want to be able to remove things nicely when I decide to redo it for the 3rd time.
Lessen the time on how long it takes to make something’s and always when I need something and go look someone always already bought it but it wasn’t even claimed and I always help as many as I can out but it takes days for me most times to get any . Thinking about changing farms 2:31

Change times? Like on certain crops and products, why? I like how they take less time. Wish other machines/crops would follow suit like potatoes and cotton!!
@xavierdavila5846 It’s harder to earn coins in the roadside shop because of this. Those of us that’s in the beta is making less coins now. Some items take longer to make now because of the beta such as one fish pie taking over five hours to make. The time was much less before the beta.
LOVE the Tiny Trail! It is so cute and gives good/easy rewards! Would love it if we had a separate storage for expansion materials! I just hang on to them and they take up space while I struggle to get enough to use them. Makes daily “farming” very difficult! Ty! ❤️🦋💜
I want to give a Feedback to the Helloween Design Event. Some Farmers decorate their Design not the the actual Theme, for example with Winter Items or other stuff. In my opinion, that defeats the purpose of the event. Additionally, the design should be evaluated on whether it fits the theme or deviates from it. Thank you
We realize you want to increase our engagement, but I totally agree with the other farmers here! WAY TOO MANY activities at a time!! And we're being bombarded with offers, offers, offers that we can't keep up with. ALSO - since when does it cost diamonds to use boosters!!! Frustrating when it used to be so much more relaxing and affordable.
We need a separate space for barn and silo tools. Plus the production times for items is too long. Salads,pies,kilns,etc. Please listen to your players. I like the game, but lately it is getting irritating with all the events that take to much time away grom the farm. Expensions need too many tools that take space in the barn. Too many bugs/problems that don't get solved. I read them here and on Facebook. Many players are mentioning it, but bo action fron Hay Day😢
There are thousands playing hayday. Maybe to make it easier set the newspaper up to where you can find what you need . A category for ore, produce, building materials, mining materials etc. I’m so overwhelmed because my farm is so cluttered because I have no space but can’t get things to unlock areas . Same with the barn and silo, I get at a standstill because everything will be full and it’s just stressful. There’s got to be an easier way of doing this. Maybe a mining shed for mining tools so they don’t take up so much space. Something!
I agree, duct tape is impossible to obtain unless one uses diamonds . I also HATED the Halloween design task 😢

If I don’t sell duct tapes I get 100 really quickly, I’m usually always selling them. I often have like 120 duct tapes, 40 planks and 5 bolts. The same order in screws/nails/panels, deeds/stakes/mallets. Someone wrote that they never find deeds and I keep selling them all the time. In my newspaper duct tapes, screws and deeds are way more common than the rest of them.

@夏蓝ツ same here, screws and bolts are hard for me to get. My last barn upgrade almost depleted the other items needed, but they are already over the needed amount.
I loved the Halloween design task the ghost collection was easy to achieve and catching ghosts was a lot of fun. Best task so far.

Clash added TONS of events and mini passes etc etc to the point there's multiple things going on at once and Hayday is the same way now. Idk if it was a super cell idea to release a ton of events for all games but you guys do really need to slow down. It's to the point I just get overwhelmed and stopping playing for days.
It's a plot to earn as much money as possible of course.

I know that you want to have stuff happening in your game all the time, but repeating the same events over and over is leading to some serious burnout (at least in my case).
I already skipped the design festival this month (just took the XP points and dipped), and seeing that there's going to be another one just made me groan. Just saying.
Just skip and don’t care about events that you don’t like. That’s it. Let it for other people who are interested
Wow,Wow,Wow, how incredibly innovative! Recycling the exact same old event again-has the planning team completely run out of ideas? There are so many great suggestions in the comments, but you guys are totally blind to them. Guess I could work at HAYDAY too, since all it takes is copying and pasting last month’s code!😅😅

I have a recommendation for the newspaper.... I don't even know if it's possible or not, but could you possibly add a first page that is like an index with all the stuff you could possibly buy . And select that item which shows you the farms that has that item for sale?
Hola, estaría genial que las decoraciones tengan la opción de mover en diagonal o acercarse más :c a veces cuando pongo un arco de jardín y están las vallas, se ve feo porque queda el hueco y pones otra decoración enfrente y queda bien alejado de lo que querías tapar :c estaría padre que se pudieran acoplar las vallas de cualquiera junto con cualquier arco

Make barn/silo/expansion/town materials separate on limits!
Like daily - 80 barn materials, 80 silo, 80 expansion and 80 town materials available for buying!
That is not normal, the limit is literally low and that is the reason why many of us do not play Hay Day with happiness.

Но пока мы сидим в игре весь день, так никто и не уменьшит количество событий и конкурсов.
И ещё. Надо давать паузы побольше перед событиями. Например, долину вообще надо сократить. Очень долго длится. Или ставить ее 2 раза в год.
And one more thing, can we search by typing the item name for Tom to buy, not wasting time on scrolling to find one needed.

I've been playing hay day for More than 12 years, i feel that lately the events are becoming stressfull AND demanding. Please pay attention que on this things, the fact Is that we will continúe playing, but in a More relaxing mode. Thank you you all for creatina a wonderfull game.

Task events are the worst. You can’t play normally because you need to save all the machines in case you’ll need them. You need to stack if you want to be able to complete the event and even doing so it is almost impossible. And in this one specifically it’s asking for very difficult elaborations and not only for one, but FOUR! AAAAND 20 TASKS???! I really hate it when tasks events are this difficult and it makes me not want to play at all😢
Could we start having the farm more like a farm and not the crazy non-farm decorations. It’s getting ridiculous. And having to pay for things? Also, I don’t even do truck orders or boat orders anymore because you have to make too many things to just fill one order. I liked it betters years ago when I first started playing. It’s getting a bit out of control, in my opinion. Just saying……….
I started playing when hayday first came out.
Lately tho I don’t like the game.
Event. What is an event? An event is not something ongoing daily … it’s special.
Not anymore. The events every day every week are too much pressure. In order to get expansion items one must do the events. Come on hayday.

I may not have the popular vote but I love all the events! Maybe meet in the middle and tone it down just a bit but on another note I have an idea, I think we should be able to separate the deco items that are the deco collections book into tabs so it’s easier to find things!
Could you please bring the beta version that reduces the machine times to all farms, it would be unfair.

I have been playing Hay Day for 13 years and have seen a lot of changes in the day to day play, the only thing I feel that has ruined a lot of farms is the over populated frogs and foxes. Since April 1st of this year someone thought this would be funny to make these frogs and foxes more active, please turn this off as it takes away from the farms decor and game design.😊
Place a pond deco over the frogs, and theyll jump in and disappear 😃

Please make the zoo to be the whole screen so we can have more varity of animals (like when you enter the boat to fish)
Hay Day is the best game I've ever played, I love this calming vibe and our non aggressive community. Playing hay day really relaxes me... I'm looking forward for new additions including customisable pet houses and or pet variations ,expanding the farm and the town furthermore, adding more town buildings and lastly when in edit mode being able to place down stuff with a brush without them being immediately bought on the spot but instead when saving your final farm design getting a sum of all the decorations or trees you bought!!
Oh believe me, those of us who have been playing this game for too long want an update like this, but it never comes.

I’ve been playing for over 10yrs, I appreciate all that you do for the game, but please slow down the items, we have NO room for! I love this game cause it’s relaxing, it’s becoming a full time job now. It’s becoming toooooo much…
The game this year was ridiculous and I've been playing for a long time. Unlike most, i like seasonal decorations, especially for thanksgiving. But this year they were terrible.

I agree about the ghosts; I loved those guys and the sound they emitted. I miss them. Sneaky elves with a cute snicker would be a great idea for Christmas. I also agree about all the decorations. I have far too many of them and would love to sell them to other farmers, to make some money for a new building.

Love the game ,but it also kind of hard in gett I ng the stuff in order to make your Land larger...
Some people are lucky,because they get it easy..
But the most of us have it hard in order to get it all,because we don't have any kind of money to spend on anything in these games...
We earn things by playing þlaying the game like it says too even if it's hard,but we try our best..
So why are you all complaining ?
Yes I agree that the mochines take forever to make things,but I love getting the decorations, becauselike I said before I work for them whether I get the decoration or not I still play ,but I do want them to know this that they need to give the ones that can't buy the decorations to at least give the ones who are working really hard like I am, the decorations..
Also the prices of these machines are outrages now that I feel like or I know that they need to come down to some reasonable prices for them..
