I like your way So much better than all the other ones I have tried.
This way makes sure nothing comes loose or slips. (Plus, i am trying to make a net for the same exact Opalite ball, so)

I had 2mm waxed string,and i had to cut the short strings to about 25-30 in.Worked well though thanks!

But I have a ball that is 13” in circumference, approx
4 1/4 “ straight across, no idea how long my braid to be cut… take into account that being a glass ball, the closed button is approximately 1 1/2” to 1 3/4”.
Should I go w 2 x 26” braids & 1 x 56” string/braid ?
🤷‍♀️ just using my diameter as a guess.

hey, i have a 3 cm or ab a 1 1/2 inch crystal ball, and all i can afford is 25'' shoelace for it. is there a was to wrap it? i have ab 6 laces in all
