Im born again my pastor Jack ,I cant remember the day but I KNOW , I was forgiven of all my sins , I could sure have one of my on-line church pray for the strength and courage like God told Joshua to have ,for me. I just not haven't got victory over smoking cigarettes, I feel bad ever day about it. But I truly know He will never leave me or forsaken me ,I do hate my sin every day , life on this side of the world is just truly very lonely even when I'm surrounded by people who hates me because I'm standing fast on God's Word. Much love from South Africa 🇿🇦

It's not works it's Jesus and his blood shed on the cross as propitiation for my sins.

Excellent points. I also like your take on so-called priestly absolution. Many years ago, I was an Episcopalian which had this practice, never questioned it until its descent into apostasy made me walk away over 15 years ago. Then I questioned all of its practices and came to the same conclusion about this.. Since Jesus forgave me my sins, why did I need a human to do it?
This is a misuse of what Jesus told the apostles here: John {20:23} Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; [and] whose soever [sins] ye retain, they are retained.
I think what it means is that if we forgive someone who sins against US, Jesus will forgive them, too, and not look to punish them on our behalf.
This principle is echoed here: "Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us."
Look, if someone named Bill sins against Joe, who is Ed to say, "Okay, Bill, I forgive you of stiffing Joe?" God is the only one who can forgive sins against God, right?
God bless, Jack, and . . . . next year in New Jerusalem!

Just wanted to add this - I'm an alcoholic who has been sober for 46+ years, thanks to Jesus.
Another point - I can personally attest to the fact that we don't know when our last moment will be. I dropped dead for ten minutes at the gym last year in June. Though I have heart trouble, there was NO WARNING!
If I hadn't been saved a long time ago and hadn't come back (miraculously unimpaired, I might add) I'd be in hell right now. .
    Just sayin' . . . . .

Unbiblical nonsense. Salvation cannot be lost

I don't know why then does the word say, take care of your own salvation with fear and trembling? Is this not a warning, that we could loose our salvation?

"Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling..."
This statement implies a need to live out-to practice, demonstrate, and exhibit-the salvation which believers have in Christ. The concept of "fear and trembling" addresses worshipful respect for God. This echoes back to the context of every knee bowing before the Lord mentioned in verse 11.

Rapture per se is not in the Bible. The first and second resurrections are written in the Bible. Check it out.

Pastor Jack! I love your teaching. But with all due respect sometimes you lean to heavily on a focus on the rapture and Israel. It’s almost like they are Gods we have to believe in or we are not saved. I have met people in your church that are more excited for the rapture then they are to have a relationship with Jesus. Any question of Israel policy in your church and those people would probably get kicked out of your church. I don’t think any of it is healthy. Only Jesus saves… we are 99 percent more likely to die a natural death and not raptured. So why not just focus more on Jesus and his word than the constant persistent over the top focus on the rapture and Israel.
