maud hiemstra I will certainly do so. At the moment, I do not have a journal. I actually WON the Alice in Wonderland journal that Barbara made and am waiting [somewhat] patiently for her to mail it off to me 🤪 I have watched her apply the prompts and it is very appealing to me; the focus factor is exactly what I need.
I really enjoyed watching you make this writing board! I also enjoy watching Barbara’s videos, it was cool how you shared her challenge. Your work is awesome!
😍 I love your board Maud 😍 I was crafting & watching as you went along, I'm so happy you have a piece of my fabric on there, now I can be with you just a little bit whenever you use the writing board. Thank you for the inspiration!!!😘
Oh Maud loving the blues and purples, great tip on covering TH papers with the colours, makes them much more versatile 😁😁😁 love your writing board, I don't have the Distress stains but I will still do splatters/splashes anyway with a brush... I'm doing a journal for my daughter and she will need a writing board for that so I hope to do one of these.... Thank you both for the inspiration 😁😁❤️❤️🌼🌼
Theresa Petermann not everybody loves the same colors 😉 and you can always change the colors by using the distress inks in your fav color combo. Thank you for watching 🤗
I love your idea of the folder with the flaps to hold your paper scraps>. I am going to make a couple for my various sized plastic baggies that keep slipping all over my desk.
Love your video, sweetie! Love how different our boards turned out! Funny that you used those colored distress inks, I'm using them in my upcoming video as well (but different colors). It's fun to switch it up a bit from vintage photo :). And I love the Austrian stamps!!! :) I think I need to find some blue/turquoise distress stains!! :)))) Thanks for collaborating with me again, sweet friend!
Hahaha, it is so much fun to inspire each other and then come up with our own version:))))) I loved doing this challenge with you and hope to do some more in the future.
Those ink splats are wonderful! I did not know you could use the stains that way. Unfortunately our Hobby Lobby is not carrying alot of Tim Holtz lately. Hope I get to try this before they are discontinued. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you 😊 and yes so sorry when items get discontinued. Some TimHoltz products are very difficult to get here in the Netherlands especially. But let’s use what we have😉🥰
Hello Maud. It was wonderful to be doing crafting with you my friend. Listening to you was like chatting with you while we craft together. Annnnd wow to your stamp book. It was so nice to see that folio glued on to your book of stamps☺️🥰 love this, I may need to make one and maybe add to my journals I make! Great idea!🙌🏼😍🤗 thank you for this time with you! It was wonderful! 👌🏽♥️
Great challenge Maud, I finished mine already, because I watched Barbara's video a few days ago. Can you tell me where you got those distress stain bottles? Thank you🤗
Thank you, and like Barbara, I got some leftovers at my local craftstore. They also warned me about these distress bottles not coming back. Next time I will use watercolor paint. That is more easily available 😁
So many fun elements, I cannot pick a favorite. Very inspiring challenge...I am also intrigued by your prompts. Lovely work!
April Thank you and let me know if the prompts work for you?
