I just want to say. You are my comfort channel/ person on RUclips. I love the FaceTime me while I clean, or cook vibe. It feels like we’re two good friends, trying to get it together collectively. Plus the little jazzy tune at the end of this video just brought me so much peace.
As a fan of you, I was fighting for you in your IG comments. People are so quick to be upset you're not posting, but those same people use social media, youtubers and content as a distraction from their own lives so it's unsettling for them to see someone else taking time and space to heal and support themselves in difficult moments. Any healthy person UNDERSTANDS that everyone needs a mf break. You are included. I'm proud of you for choosing yourself and I will always support you. I've thought of you several times a week, hoping you're doing okay and that you're allowing yourself the space to be human, as I can imagine how hard it must be to have your entire life criticized on social media. I think I've finally learn that baby steps are the way to reach my dreams even tho i want to spin into them. For this year, I want my family to be healthy and stable. And my top goal is graduating law school, it's been quite a journey including getting behind after not taking my finals three semesters ago and not wanting to practice, in my defense I really thought I would spend the rest of my life on stage. Another goal is to learn how to be tolerant and just go with it, i often forget how good my life is.

Hi Sam! I’ve been watching you for quite some time but usually don’t comment. I want to let you know that what you’re saying about choosing yourself is hitting home for me. I am a normal 27 year old woman that works a 9-5 Monday-Friday job. Work has been so hard for me for months. I’ve felt like I’ve been in such a rut. I *finally* built up the courage to choose myself last week. I was overwhelmed, stressed, and felt like I had no support. I left. Went home for the day because I couldn’t handle it. I told my boss it’s important for me to take a break and step back when I’m that overwhelmed because at the end of the day, my life (and i myself) is more important than this job. You didn’t deserve any of the hateful comments you received. You didn’t sign up for any of cruel comments! I’m so proud you chose you. It is so empowering when you finally put yourself first ❤️ much love!

Hey girl, silent follower for the longest time. I am so glad you’re taking time for yourself to prioritize what makes you feel stable and at peace. I know it’s hard to fight the inner thought when everyone is telling you “don’t listen to anybody”, but it’s like a channel that you can’t switch or turn off. I empathize and commend you for fighting through that. Always put yourself first, you are your biggest fan , advocate & protector and there should be no shame in saying that (no matter what any people pleasing thoughts may tell you). Your videos always bring me joy and calmness so I thank you for that. I know it’s been a year for everyone, personally for me had a few life changing moments and stresses that have caused my body to change significantly (gained over 40 pounds from binging and drinking and fighting every day to get healthy again mentally first).
My 2024 goal is to get myself to a place where I don’t actively hate my body or who I am and the choices I’ve made. Stop depending on outside forces to make me feel validated and seen. Stop being on social media whenever I lay down (sleep or lounging). Also, learn how to walk again after an incident will be a big one. I’ll share the goodies with my partner, he’s been a champ dealing with life’s up and down this year and would love to gift him something as a thank you for being my rock (sappy I know).

Need more longer videos like this!! My New Years resolution is just build healthier habits, including drinking more water. I would share the hydro flask goodies with my family friend who is taking me in this year, as I move out of home. Super appreciative of her taking on a 17yr old as well as having her 4 kids of her own. Would be so helpful keeping drinks cool, especially here in Australia with the heat. Another thing I'm trying this year is having a 'let them' mindset. Makes dealing with things a lot easier and helps me not let things bother me too much, as I realise those things aren't as serious as I tend to make them. Piece of advice for everyone!!

I'm honestly so happy you took time for yourself. I think some people have a hard time thinking of content creation as work, and society overall is still in a "hustle mentality," which is obviously not great for anyone's mental health. ahhh sam i’m so happy for you!! i think you represent hydro flask so well and i think everyone deserves a good hydro flask, personally i’ve never had one and i’d love to have one for school, im always bringing a plastic bottle it always makes me feel guilty, and my water doesn’t stay cold, but water is water, i’d love to give my grandma the other matching tumbler she’s my best friend and needs to stay hydrated in her hospital room after surgery. Girl I BEEN following you and hydro on tik tok!!❤️😂 my new years goal is to prioritize my peace and not allow anything in my life that affects that. I’ve always been a “yes person” and wanting to please everyone. I’m starting to learn that is just going to hurt me in the long run. And Sam you’ve helped me realize this too!
