Great to have you back, Greg! Was beginning to think we weren't getting one this week, it was gone 9pm UK time by the time it uploaded, so I've listened on my Monday lunch break instead of Sunday evening just to keep my body clock confused! What an amazing trip once again, the vlogs really do make it feel like we're there with you. Would definitely prefer Hawaiian rain showers over this years' typical British summer any day (been very cold, cloudy and rainy here so far). I've had one weekend away in London this summer, but that'll be pretty much my only time away for the summer, definitely need to try for something bigger and better next year!
Keeping my fingers crossed Deb gets well soon - it's always nasty when somebody has a fall like that, although as a result I'm sure you've been going through yard sales in record time!

What’s up Greg! It is sooooo good to hear you again! I have been having an absolute blast watching the Kauai vlogs. I have always dreamed of going on some sort of beach vacation, so you guys were living my dream! I must say, that rental house you guys were in was insane, totally looked like a multi-millionaire’s home! I am so thrilled you guys had a lovely vacation in an absolutely beautiful environment. Say, speaking of Jeep Wranglers, whatever happened to that ’05 Wrangler you had a few years ago? I’ve been meaning to ask but never remember to mention it in any of the videos.
If I was on vacation and I needed to hear bad news, I would just want to hear it. This is because I would be upset if I didn’t know when it happened, knowing my personality type. I will continue to pray for Deb during her recovery process, I know she’ll be back shopping for jewelry and purses in no time!
As you know, I’ve really been striving to live every day like its my best, so I totally agree with you when you say we should take advantage of every opportunity we get in our lives. I am hoping to continue this going through my final year of high school!
In the last month, I did a lot! I think you already know I went to Montana to visit my sister and her family, then I was chilling at home for 2.5 weeks, and then I made the dreaded trip back to Illinois to see my grandparents. If you remember, I broke my phone on last year’s trip, and while nothing too extremely bad happened this year, I was so bored. I was only there for a weekend, but my mom and my grandparents were starting to drive me to the point of mental insanity.
Finally, I figured I’d update you on my cars. Last week, I ended up selling my 4Runner and my Camry to buy a brand-new Toyota Crown Nightshade edition in a sleek blue-gray color called Storm Cloud. Now, believe it or not, this vehicle purchase saves us a lot of money! I wasn’t using the 4Runner anymore, and wanted my sedan to be all-wheel drive, so this premium AWD sedan fit the bill as the perfect vehicle to consolidate my Toyotas. And yes, I still have my Subaru Forester which I still absolutely love.
Greg, thank you for sharing your experiences with us! Your family is a part of my family in my books and I cannot wait to continue to watch you guys tackle life. Thank you for taking the time to listen, it means the world to me!

You’re back!! Was happy to see your podcast today. Been enjoying your daily Hawaii videos. The house you were staying at was amazing, and loved watching all your adventures.
So sorry to hear about Deb, hoping for a speedy recovery for her.
We just went to Knoebels on Saturday 7/6, we were just saying, how it would be funny if we had bumped into you guys there, would have definitely said hello! We travel from NYC, so it’s quite a commute, but worth it. There’s always so much to do there we never have enough time, one day we have to do open -close there. Our son got to do the meet and greet w cosmo and the characters and we seen the carousel museum this time which he hadn’t done before. Always finish the day at The Alamo indoor restaurant to take a break from the heat. Wasn’t too crowded for a Saturday; the longest line we waited was 20 min for Antique cars. Enjoy your week, guys!

What a great month you had! While you were away, I got hooked on a live stream channel of Disney world. It filled my time and really was so educating for me- I’d only been to Disneyland once when I was 10 but never Disney world. I put this live stream on after a busy work day and just listen and watch them stroll the parks while I multitasked. I’m going to really need another Disney trip from you all again soon. 😅

I'm glad you had so much fun on vacation. Been a long few Mondays not having this podcast to listen to. We all deserve a break though. Behind watching all the videos from your time away but will catch up soon. I was as off getting married during the time you were gone. Speedy recovery for Deb. Now who gonna buy all those purses. Very true life could always be worse. I was one of those 3 waiting for the pod. Found some great deals on Lego at fee Walmarts recently. Getting a backlog though. My porch is beginning to look like your storage room or doom. Thanks for a great Monday morning listen.

Good Sunday Afternoon Greg!! Welcome Back!! So Great to have you back!! The hotel was unbelievable!! Kauai would be a great island to live on, sort of like where you are in PA...beautiful and laid back. Wow!! If that is you best trip...that is fantastic and says a lot about the wonderful place!!
I agree with you about charting your own adventures. It is the one offs that you run across when you are on vacation is what you remember the most...in 2001 we were traveling in Maine along the coast, I made a wrong turn and it ended at a public beach with no one on it. We had a few hundred yards of beach to ourselves for over an hour...does not happen often on an East Coast Beach.
Oh no, I hope that Deb is able to recover quickly. That is awful news. We will pray for her daily.
Yard sales still going, it is amazing how dedicated people are especially when it gets this hot. Yea the Clark found Pokémon card and a hot wheel for a great price!!
Lego hunting turns into a Pokémon search. Getting out of debt was the best thing you ever did, it affords you this life with the Coty and the Clark in his best childhood years. You obsession in your twenties and thirties has paid off.
Mmm, cactus potatoes and fair food in general sounds wonderful!! Sounds like the Independence Day holiday was a great time for everyone especially Roxy!! Glad you were able to take advantage of the time.
Hold on to the time as much as you can, and the Knoebel's trip was a great treat especially with the crowds being down.
The build and the movie is an awesome concept...for those of us that like to multi-task that sounds fantastic. It is amazing how creative some of the series are...it is always great when you can find some original thought.
I am so glad you had a wonderful vacation and were able to extend that vacation this past week with the fun trips to the amusement park, fair, and camp. Thank you for getting us caught up. Please...give our best to Deb. :) I am glad the life is Great in Greg's World!! Enjoy the Sunday with Coty and the Clark, more fireworks and a campfire!! Have a great week two of July!! 🙂

Welcome back Greg! Enjoyed your Hawaii videos. Don’t worry about missing podcasts when you are spending important family time on vacation making memories. Maybe in the future go ahead and announce you are taking a month off. Several of my regular podcasts regularly take 1 month off every summer and I expect it.
Interesting to hear your preferences on vacations and I was surprised that you don’t care for cruise vacations but I get your point about too many people and not getting to do your own thing. But after our recent cruise I have to say it was our most enjoyable vacation we have done. The unbelievable service and food and the beautiful sites the ships visit really are a blast! If you go on a larger ship you really don’t feel like you’re around a lot of people very often. On our recent cruise we were amazed how many times we were not around other people. Check out our videos from our recent cruise if you get bored! 😊
Most of the time I agree with your sentiment, not to deliver bad news while on vacation, but there are definitely exceptions to that rule in my book. in some cases, you can mentally support someone going through that difficult time without being there, or just reassure them that they will be OK. When it’s obvious you can’t be there, you can still help from afar in many cases. God bless you and your family.

I think while you were in Hawaii we were on a Disney Alaska cruise. While you were snorkeling, I was in a helicopter landing on a glacier about to go on a dog sled adventure! There is so much to do around the World I hope we can see it all! Enjoy the journey!

I'm so excited for how much Clark loves Pokemon. My favorite part of running the local Pokemon club is seeing how enthusiastic kids are when they forst get into it. It makes me sad when they start focusing too much on the monatary balue or only want the ultra rare cards. It seems to take the joy out of it. I have obseved that once they start viewing the cards that way it isnt long before they loose intrest in the cards all together. I love seeing their eyes light up when they talk about the cards and thr pokemon.

Weekly, monthly, who cares! As long as you’re thriving!
This week I went to my grandparents house and we had some steak and LOTS of licorice! We originally went up there for a Fourth of July cousins golf tournament! But my Dads arms were tingley.. so my Dad went to the ER and turns out he had a pinched nerve… It was pretty scary but fortunately he’s okay now! As far as the golf tournament, we won!!! So this week had some highs and lows but we still manage to live our lives to the fullest! Have a great day Greg!

Great to have the podcast back. I knew you were enjoying your summer though. The question of wether to tell bad news when someone had a big day or a vacation has been weighing on my mind lately as well. Im not sure how i feel about it. I did see someone ask an upsetting question of my loved one while she was on vacation and it felt like a strategy. Like her being on vacation and trying to ruin it was part of the reason they chose that time to ask. It just seemed cruel. Not aure how i feel about upseting news while on vacation, i think it depends. Of it is an emergency or someone Ilove has died I think i would be upset if I didnt know right away.

Hi Greg About making time with your son I love seeing you and Clark having fun at Kauai The chocolate tour you guys had was really cool and snorkeling is great as well I think snorkeling is fun even though I never went and that jeep looks great and also don’t switch the car because that car is perfect for all seasons winter and fall summer and spring and plus if you leave the windows and roof down by accident could cause the car to get rained on or snowed on and plus the Subaru is much better for snow and rain because of the wheels and also you should travel to Iceland Sweden or Japan they have great things like for example Clark will like the Pokémon centers That Are In Japan and the Nintendo store plus everything in Japan is way cheaper and plus Iceland has a lot of great scenery and Sweden has great restaurants that Clark and Coty Could enjoy. But I am glad you enjoyed the trip
