Panini will never come back down to earth as long as this continues. I’ve always been a strictly baseball guy, and I thought a lot of Topps products were way too high. I started dabbling in football the past couple years and have just been blown away by the audacity of Panini.

@TheVgaTV 2020 sapphire is 3k+ a box, the first product for f1, they didn't make logos in 21 or 22 and they are a set collectors thing really. More of a perfect storm than anything.
Could see them crashing hard if they got reprinted in a similar fashion since they are no longer unique.
@@alexisetsfire cost of box doesn't make it any stupider to pay 5 figures for a logo card. It would be one thing if it was from incredibly rare 1930s/40s baseball card set and it was a team logo. But a brand new card with a car company logo? it's just absurd.

I work for Cajun Breakers who pulled that CJ Stroud color blast. I was right there when he pulled the card. Nice to get an honarable mention.
That Black shimmer is something else, an auto on that would be even better in black marker.

@@Dame_Sports - tbh if it's a sticker auto, i really don't have much of a preference between auto and non-auto. But if i can get an on-card auto, that's different. What's even more sad (and should anger everyone) is a 1/1 with a STICKER auto.
Prism is way over priced and retail version watered down makes this hard for average collectors.Ian top ten pulls was awesome this week again just sucks breakers pulling all the 1/1 making it even harder for those who can't afford hobby prices.Thanks to you and Nikki for being my favorite RUclips channel to start the week.Hope Bode and Nikki are doing well

I would take a 1/1 auto over the 1/1 if it is a on card auto. Actual played held the 1/1 and signed it. If it’s a sticker, give me the non auto. Sick strouds this week and I’d love that AR shield auto 1/1

The prices on these cards is insane. I mean they have no way to go up even if cj sets every passing record along with super bowls he would just maintain. Anything else means his cards just go down. What id really like is if in 5 to 10 years you did an update on some of these pulls and see if any of these held their value because i just can't see it. Im not trying to rag on these cards. but i remember Reggie bush i was selling base cards his rookie year for 20 bucks and some of his base autos for 1k now you can't give them away. Again not trying to be a downer but these prices are crazy
I stopped buying nearly everything for about 3 years, from mid '20 until just about 8 months ago. The market is so warped, right now, with this new shiny stuff. Football 'collectors' (speculators, mostly) just never learn. You can go add multiple mid or high end Brady on-card autos, or you can buy some RC of some new QB that can only dream of accomplishing 1/100th of what Brady has. Make it make sense. In the mean time, I'm back to buying up stuff that doesn't surface often of HOFers for a fraction. To each their own, though. Gotta collect what you like. Most of this is just gambling on opening product. 99% of these group breaks are destroying people who bought in.
Just my opinion, but I think auto version is better than non auto. Especially if it's on card. That means the player definitely had contact with it. To me, that just gives a special card more meaning.
