I coated the bottom of the coil on my CZ21 with marine epoxy. For me it works better than a coil cover.
    Cheers

I had Marine epoxy on the coil of my Garrett Sea Hunter Mark II. It worked well. I have also tried spray-on bedliner. It came off much quicker than the epoxy but was also way easier to put on.

I don’t like coil covers to never use them 👍

How have you liked the CZ7a? I was thinking it might be a good detector even if I had to buy it used....which is probably the only way one could be bought now. And I wonder how good it operates in the wet salt sand at the beach?

At the end of your video, you said that you don't like using coils.......I doubt that you'd find much without the coil...ha! I know you really meant that you don't like using coil covers.

Hi, how good is on wet sand? Compared to your TDI Have a good offer for the fisher but wanted to make sure is ok for wet sand. Thanks.

The Fisher works fine in wet salt water sand as it is a dual frequency machine.
