As a long time day trader (almost a decade), this is better advice than new traders can fathom. For a new trader...and possibly even experienced traders, success is very possible if you would just "take the pill" and practice these rules daily. I trade a completely different strategy but the foundation requires following the rules mentioned in this video; which in my opinion is worth more than any trading course. Well done, Ross.
@@troykelley6507 I think stops are relative to your strategy and risk management profile. So getting the best entries and only taking trades with stops inside your risk threshold are key.

My main worry is how to increase my $240k reserve,I understand the long-term strategy, but my savings are being eaten up by inflation, and my portfolio is losing value every day. I do not disagree, there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such execution are usually carried out by investment experts with experience since the 08' crash.
You are completely right, Advisors have information and paths that are not disclosed to the public.. I profited $560k in 2023 under the tutelage of my Fiduciary-counselor. Am I selling? Absolutely not.. I am going to sit back and observe how this all plays out.

Ross, we would love for you to explain how to calculate a good share position size for certain trades. Not according to our own position sizes, but regarding the liquidity of the market - what is the position size to volume for a specific stock before you are very likely to not get filled, encounter problems exiting (without scaling in and out) or face significant slippage. My current guideline is safely 5k shares per every 1mil in volume. Would love to hear how you approach this. Thanks!
Hi Ross, love your content. For one of your next full-length classes, would you be able to make a checklist of cues for entering an A+ setup? For example: - MACD should be open - Price over VWAP - No high-volume red candles on pullbacks (and other insight volume can provide) - Healthy-looking candlestick pattern for entry - Over EMAs - Small spread - Green tape And does short % matter? etc.. This is assuming the 5 supply and demand criteria are met and trading the bull flag, pullback no more than ~30% of upside. Thanks!

Ross, I have a question. Your metrics show a good amount of premarket trading. If you have a small account do brokers allow premarket trading? Or do you need a margin account? I’m still in paper trading on Webull which doesn’t give premarket access. Thank you for all your great lessons.
@@JayGeezwi have a cash account with webull and i am able to trade at 4am with full limit orders. But i i found it is too slow for this type of trading so i started using think or swim and can trade starting at 7am with them. Tos has a feature that you can just click a button to sell and buy and you don’t have to keep going back and forth on screens like with webull
This is so good. I was down to $92500 on a 5%ers challenge and I thought yes sure i could start over, buy a new challenge, but i knew that if i stuck with it and got back to breakeven the experience would be invaluable. Got it back to breakeven in 2 months, but more importantly it gave me so much confidence and i no longer fear loss. Thank you Ross, really appreciate your videos 🙏

the consistency at 23:40 not only being green, but being green on 1 or 2 trades is crazy good. all it takes is to increase that size and 5k would still get filled easily under high volume too

I have found that 6-7 then 8-open are the best times to trade. Something about the run up to 7. Which sucks for me right now because I currently trade on TOS and can't trade before 7. Might switch brokers considering TOS talk about improving but continue to fail at doing so!

Trading success is way more about creating a process that leverages your individual strengths & personality and improving it slowly (and painfully) over time than it is some mystical thing. Risk management, emotional management, technical aptitude and discipline (of sticking to your rules) are the keys to focus on.
Heading back to the sim to refine things for a few months now. Got what I needed out of the small CMEG account. Plenty of draw downs, doubled account a couple times, had to top it off a few times, etc... but the experience was what was needed. Feel comfortable taking 100 to 1000 shares of most stocks now. Time to get super sharp in the sim, and keep consistently profitable in there for awhile before taking the next step.

Once I had a process and strategy that was consistently producing profits I really wanted to take bigger size so I could make more. If your confidence isn’t there yet it’s okay, but it’s good to trade at the edge of your comfort zone to keep pushing yourself a little bit

Hi Dear Ross, I am following you a lot and part of your pro trail this days and will continue:) I want to ask you if and how you manage to get in to a trade so fast when on the scanner a new stock appears. Because the platform isn’t connected to the scanners? When I am writing the stock symbol it take this 30 seconds and more and I am losing good scalps trade because of this. But i have a question, your calender shows 50 to over 100 trades per day , i am just wondering , how is it possible? 6.5 hours (390 mins) per day market time, 7.5 mins per trade to 3.9 mins per trade. is it like repeating the same trade over n over or are the total trades completed by your team? or were they algorhitmic trades? I enjoy most of your videos and try to extract some useful info.
In a few of your videos you mentioned you like to get in and out of a stock usually within the same day. How can someone day trade if they don't have a margin account of $25000.00 So being a beginner at trading and not having 25,000 to put in the market your videos don't really help someone like myself.
MY TAKE AWAY POINT : Trading is a career where that every 6 to 8 weeks you’re going to have a day that you give back Fvck off profit, and that’s just the way it is, you can’t do anything about it, as part of trading, you’ve got to be incredibly resilient!
I hope i have better week next week...all my hotkeys were set to fill so far away from my profits, it was awful lost out of hundreds cuz of it....I dunno why you set ur stops to fill +5 or sell -5 off the bid...buying and selling at the bid and ask from now on. whatever those settings are were awful.

How does he calculate his stops? Seems like he has a hard money stop? I set stops based on technical analysis, which seems to work better.

Ross, since you had an emotional/sentimental attachment to your money when you were getting started like you've talked about, did you ever have trouble sizing up and increasing your risk tolerance due to fear of loss? How did you push through that
Once I had a process and strategy that was consistently producing profits I really wanted to take bigger size so I could make more. If your confidence isn’t there yet it’s okay, but it’s good to trade at the edge of your comfort zone to keep pushing yourself a little bit

Hi Dear Ross, I am following you a lot and part of your pro trail this days and will continue:) I want to ask you if and how you manage to get in to a trade so fast when on the scanner a new stock appears. Because the platform isn’t connected to the scanners? When I am writing the stock symbol it take this 30 seconds and more and I am losing good scalps trade because of this. I see you are doing it much less than 30 seconds. Please share your experience with this issue 🙏

hi, Congratulations , i am very happy for your success. Your numbers are great motivation . But i have a question, your calender shows 50 to over 100 trades per day , i am just wondering , how is it possible? 6.5 hours (390 mins) per day market time, 7.5 mins per trade to 3.9 mins per trade. is it like repeating the same trade over n over or are the total trades completed by your team? or were they algorhitmic trades?

These are all trades I’ve done, but some may be as short as seconds, so many can be very quick, while others are longer.
In a few of your videos you mentioned you like to get in and out of a stock usually within the same day. How can someone day trade if they don't have a margin account of $25000.00 So being a beginner at trading and not having 25,000 to put in the market your videos don't really help someone like myself.

MY TAKE AWAY POINT : Trading is a career where that every 6 to 8 weeks you’re going to have a day that you give back Fvck off profit, and that’s just the way it is, you can’t do anything about it, as part of trading, you’ve got to be incredibly resilient!

I hope i have better week next week...all my hotkeys were set to fill so far away from my profits, it was awful lost out of hundreds cuz of it....I dunno why you set ur stops to fill +5 or sell -5 off the bid...buying and selling at the bid and ask from now on. whatever those settings are were awful.
