TOPIC: THE FUNDAMENTAL OF FAITH IN A CHRISTIAN LIFE
READ: HEBREWS 11:1-3; 10:22-23, EPHESIANS 2:8-10
INTRODUCTION
God expects his people to live by faith because faith is central to the Christian life. Without faith, we cannot please God. With faith we can move mountains. Through faith, we can accomplish everything. Your Christian life begins with faith, and you must live by it daily. Therefore, faith is the measure of your personal confidence in God. In other to build our faith, it is important to study outstanding personalities that demonstrated extraordinary faith in God, like Abraham, Enoch, Joseph, Abel and Noah as we have done.
We also have women of faith like Sarah, Ruth, Hannah, Deborah, Rahab, Mary e.t.c
Faith is a fundamental concept in the Bible, and understanding its characteristics and features can deepen your relationship with God.

Here are the key aspects of faith according to the Bible:
Characteristics of Faith:
1. Trust: Faith involves trusting God's promises, plans, and provision (Proverbs 3:5-6).
2. Belief: Faith requires believing in God's existence, sovereignty, and love (Hebrews 11:6).
3. Confidence: Faith gives confidence in God's faithfulness and reliability (Psalm 37:3-5).
4. Obedience: Faith leads to obedience to God's commands and instructions (John 14:15).
5. Surrender: Faith involves surrendering one's will, desire, and life to God (Romans 12:1-2).
6. Perseverance: Faith requires perseverance through trials, challenges, and uncertainties (James 1:2-4).
7. Hope: Faith provides hope for the future, eternal life, and heaven (1 Corinthians 13:13).
Features of Faith:
1. Unseen: Faith involves trusting in the unseen, eternal realm (2 Corinthians 4:18).
2. Assurance: Faith provides assurance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1).

CONCLUSION
Faith is a sure tool in drawing God. Whatever pleases God can also move Him. We can do exploit through faith by judging God faithful in all our dealings. Let us make our faith God work in order to obtain Your promises.
