- আজাদ হিন্দ সরকার দ্বারা নির্বাচিত জাতীয় সঙ্গীত, অর্থাৎ রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের "ভারত ভাগ্য বিধাতা" কবিতাটির হিন্দি অনুবাদ, Subh Sukh Chain-কে এক অভিনব রূপ দিয়েছেন Indraadip Das Gupta, এবং এই নতুন গানটি শুনতে পাবেন Srijit Mukherji পরিচালিত ও Prosenjit Chatterjee অভিনীত Gumnaami ছবিতে। নেতাজি সুভাষ চন্দ্র বসু যখন ১৯৪৩ সালে জার্মানী থেকে দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব এশিয়ায় এসে পৌঁছলেন, তখন আজাদ হিন্দ ফৌজের দুই সদস্য, মুমতাজ হুসেন এবং আবিদ হাসান সাফরানির সঙ্গে রবি ঠাকুরের কবিতাটির হিন্দি অনুবাদ করলেন, এবং তৈরি হল সাব সুখ চেন। "জন গণ মন" স্বাধীন ভারতের জাতীয় সঙ্গীত হয়ে ওঠার আগে তার হিন্দি এই অনুবাদটিই ছিল আজাদ হিন্দ অর্থাৎ আর্জি হুকুমত-এ-আজাদ হিন্দ-এর জাতীয় সঙ্গীত। Babul Supriyo-র কন্ঠে শুনুন সেই ঐতিহাসিক গান। The Hindi translation of Rabindranath Tagore's Bharoto Bhagyo Bidhata was the national anthem of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's Azad Hind, and it has been recreated for the film Gumnaami.

I am not a Bengali and I Saw this movie in Kolkata.
I genuinely had tears in my eyes. Because I was always 100% certain about the fact that our country would've been among the most developed, progressive, cleanest, most advanced nations for sure had this man led from the front and been the first official PM of India. I doubt he would've even allowed the horrors of partition.
Indians and our culture would've evolved faster than ever and adapted so well with modern values. He was so young and would've guided us atleast till the 70s. He would've been India's answer to Singapore's great PM Lee Kuan Yew before Lee himself came to power.
It is really sad twist of fate.
But I do believe from the same soil will rise many such Netajis and make his vision come true soon.

What George Washington is to America, and Bismarck to Germany, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is to India. He is the founding father and liberator of our motherland. There is no parallel in the history of the world where a single person strode across continents sacrificing everything with the singular goal of liberating his country. I would say that India's Bismarck would be Sardar Patel. If Netaji involved himself in Indian politics instead of going into hiding, there is a good chance that there wouldn't have been any partition and would've taken that title instead. Netaji unfortunately is the biggest "What if?" of independent India.
Partition was the result of long process that was initiated by morley-minto reforms..It is very difficult to say whether partition would have been averted had Netaji been involved in politics..
A bengali, born in Orissa, spent last days in UP, started the fight from Mizoram, travelled the world, collaborated with Asia, disguised himself, instilled belief in freedom fighters ..just for one thing - India....and we probably just have 5 mins for him in history books....

I was telling a friend that this song was in the closing scene of the movie Gumnaami. When this song was played, by the time people were crying. I was in the second last row. I remember everyone stood up on respect. I have never scene such kind of emeotional flow in a cinema hall. I was lucky to see something rare. My friend didn't believe me. What's to cry. Of course, I told him, our generation will never ever understand what these unsung heroes of our Independence struggle did for us.
Even after hearing it everytime . tears come its own! Real father of our nation 🙏
I consider myself unlucky for not being able to see this masterpiece in theaters.

First of all I would like to personally thank the creators of this movie for reminding Indians that Bose ji is the True Hero of The Indian Independence Struggle. Watched twice with the help of Subtitles, had tears and goosebumps. Subhash Chandra Bose, his strategies, his actions, his intelligence and most of all his bravery is beyond words.. Wow that he left behind a mystery for generations..

In the end of the film #gumnami, there's a song Subh sukh chain ki.... I noticed that everyone stood up without any message asking them to stand. It hit me that people stand up for their nation when they're inspired by the sacrifice of one great leader.

I watched the movie today. Its been more than 3 hours and I still cannot get out of the mesmerising experience I had while watching the movie. I had tears and probably everyone in the theatre also had tears when this song was played in the end
