So far I've only watched until the first dancing action was over and the next "theatric" part began, but I already have so many questions! I've watched so many CZ and SK (and Russian and Ukrainian and a whole lot other) dances the past years and been trying to understand/get an insight into especially Czech dance and music culture. Honestly mostly Moravian ones(because they seem so much wilder, more expressive, more free and less similar to German/Austrian ones - I'm German, so no offense, but I really don't like my culture in music and dance aspects ;D), much less Bohemian ones, which is why I have no idea about those. But can anyone explain to me where all the elements in these dances are from and what are the names of all these dances? Only in the first section I think I see Bohemian, Slovak, Hungarian and even Irish and German ( 4:08 minutes reminds me very much of the German Schuhplattler, the way they clap on their legs but nothing else about it) elements and I'm so confused! I would love so much to know more Czech (including Moravian and Silesian, but also Bohemian, just CR in a whole) dances by name, so I can dive deeper into the matter, research easier, watch more, get a better impression and insight etc, because so far it has been so fucking hard the past years to find any name to any dance or any dance at all that is really Czech and not actually from somewhere else. By which I mean that I just want to know the CZECH culture, which they see as their own, no matter if there are influences(everywhere in culture there are always influences from other countries, I know) but what Czechs define as theirs, you know? Much love!
