Bang on this Danny, I’m not massively experienced in the koi game as it’s only my first year keeping them so it’s good being able to pick up little bits from your videos and then putting them into practice with more confidence, nice one mate 👍👊
Love my £18 scope lad can't believe I've never had one In all the years keeping koi but Good ole youtube and subscribers tempted me and learnt me how to use and what to do
You people really like microscopes. In Japan, nobody does that because they are not laboratory animals, but how can we improve their health and boost their immunity? That is our trend.
@@myboyskoi It is an example of what your predecessors imitated when breeders landed them from mud ponds. We hobbyists obviously don't need to do that if we have a proper annual schedule for buying and growing.
@@myboyskoi Yes. Flukes problems can be prevented by increasing body size and putting subcutaneous fat and mucous during the feeding period to increase immunity and minimise the opportunity for KOI replacement. Almost none of the Japanese hobbyists have a microscope on hand at all times.
@@atsuminaoki9910 I still don't see your problem with people using them. Surely it's better to use a microscope and try to prevent parasites, or at least control them. Rather than hoping you haven't got them

Are you saying hobbyists don't need to scrape koi?
I don't understand your point!
Are you from Japan?
