In this video, we will discuss the upgraded "E-BRC System for self-certification by exporters."
This video is crucial for those involved in the export of goods and services, including company owners, export managers, and executive-level staff dealing with export documentation with banks. Understanding this video is essential for all those mentioned.
We all know what E-BRC is and how challenging it is to get it issued from the bank. Banks used to delay the upload of E-BRC, make mistakes, and were always short-staffed. As a result, exporters faced difficulties, and a significant amount of manpower, time, and cost were wasted in chasing banks and following up to close E-BRC for each consignment.
However, with the new pilot launch of the Upgraded E-BRC system introduced by DGFT, as per Trade Notice No. 33 dated 10th November 2023, exporters can now self-certify and issue E-BRC. Yes, you heard it right. Exporters will no longer need to chase banks, and they can generate E-BRC sitting in their offices.
This will be a significant relief for exporters. In this video, we will understand how this will be possible, the guidelines issued by DGFT until now, the actual process, and when this implementation will take place. So let's get started.

Guys - Please write to RBI to do away with this idiotic process of BRC. I got a notice from RBI after 2 years as I was not aware of BRC process. Fine was 2x of total remittances received. I am now in court with this; but really have given up on trying to export from India.
Anways, I am moving my business to Dubai due to this; much easier and 0% income tax. If your turn over is more than 25 lakh, best to move there. Setup fee is about 13000 AED and they even give you visa, etc.
Export from India is a pipe dream with no real backing on the ground - bas compliace mein hi fas jaoge and then keep giving bribes.

Ebrc kai ly kya abhi bhi ad code branch mai account open karna hoga
We have pending BRC to be issued by HSBC bank when logged in do not see IRM nor bank name in the DGFT portal.

Many people are saying that small exporters who send goods worth $15 $10 $20 $50 do not need to take EBRC. Only those exporters who have sales of Rs 8 lakh in 3 months will also have to take EBRC or is it only for big exporters who are exporting goods worth $2000, $5000, $10,000? Please tell me what is true in this?

Brc is not closed for 3 of my shipment because i lost 3 shipping bills and couldn’t get them back
Get SB Reprint from Customs is the only option.

Jab aap documents Bank ko dete hai, toh woh documents lodge karti hai. Payment us lodged document ke through adjust hota hai. Jab payment adjust hota hai tab ebrc generate hoti thi. Ab jab payment realise hoga tab ek irm generate hoga. Woh aapko dgft site par dikhega

HOW TO FIND IRM?
Login to your DGFT account, Click EBRC under Services Tab and then look for "IRM/ORM Repository" - Which will help you to view and search inward and outward remittances uploaded by the Banks. Thanks for Watching and Commenting.

my bank says live on 31st january 2024 , so the previous bills should be done with traditional methods ? they are charging a lot from me being a retail exporter this is very high

After generat and sign BRC still showing BRC in draft application and also showing NOTES= draft is not final submission. You are required to digitally sign and make fees payment as applicable for final submission. The submitted application should not reflect in the draft list

Hi, You can get details of all the Inward Remittances i.e. IRM. Post that you need to link that IRM with Shipping Bill/Invoice and generate E-BRC.
If the remittance comes through PayPal or any other payment gateway, will it also show it? Please reply
It will not show as of now, only Payments received by Bank directly will be updated on the DGFT Portal.
Do we still need to pay e-BRC charges to the bank ?

Sir, we started exporting from Sep 2023. However, we are not receiving any BRC from DGFT. We have asked the banker but they are not responding properly. What can we do for that, please suggest something.
You have to first provide all the documents relating to the shipment to your Banker. Post which Banker will generate E-BRC and upload it on DGFT Portal [This is the old method]. So if Banks are not responding, escalate the matter with the Branch Manager. Thanks for Watching and commenting.
