This video introduces the concept of connective tissue and briefly discusses the types, cells, fibres and ground substance that is shared among all connective tissue types.
No disrespect to my professor...okay maybe a little but I have A&P class from 9 to 1PM listening to him ramble on with his power point slides yet here I am watching your 11 minute video and I fully grasp what you are saying. Sincerely appreciate how helpful your video's are. Cheers!
Your videos are so helpful! PLEASE never stop, this is so valuable and I think I speak for everyone in this comment section when I say you're doing God's work (I'm atheist but the sentiment is there)!
Not a med student or anything, just a science student with a connective tissue disorder and insatiable curiosity ❤ I just found your channel and I LOVE it so much. Thank you 🥰
Thank you!! you make so much sense and put things together beautifully. I sit through hours of A and P with not alot of understanding so i watch your videos and everything makes sense after. really appreciate this!
Well taught Sir. Things looked difficult, i couldn't quite understood from my lecturer's lecture on this (i.e. CT), but now i have a good picture of CT. Thanks to you.
Have a graduated degree in wildlife biology (finished uni 20+ yrs ago). My inner science geek loves your videos just for the information / interest. thank you SO much!!
I always want to know the connective tissues better. This vedio has all information I need.It is the first time that I know the sequence of four tissue types.Genuinely appreciated 🙂
I love your videos, there are really helpful but they always seem incomplete, like in your video on epethlia tissue, you mentioned it plays function of excretion but didn't say anything about it
Am watching your videos and already subscribed to your channel. I really needed this simple worded explanation. Thank you from Kuwait to where you are!
Great! But I don't see in which category a numer of connective tissues fit, such as the endomysium, or connective tissues surrounding (parts of) organs. This is called "loose connective tissue", right? Is this a different type of classification?
What can you tell me about costochondritis? Hello Dr. so I have costochondritis they say. My pain originated at my lovely dowagers hump back in October. By December anytime I laid down on my bed for longer than a half of an hour that dowagers hump area and my traps would start burning and tingling until I sat back up! The tingling has since stopped I’m not sure what made it stop but it’s no longer there. Occasionally my upper traps will feel tingly though. The pain/stiffness then went on to my ribs the following weeks and my chest. My scalene‘s are also jacked up and super tight especially on the right side not to mention my upper traps feel like they are constantly engaged! Do you happen to know whether or not the pain from that hump can also cause pain in the ribs a.k.a. costochondritis? One thing I also noticed was in the beginning when my scaling‘s were very tight and irritated the right side of my throat was also slightly swollen…. I’ve also noticed now my abdominal muscles are beginning to be a bit sore.
