I bombed Hollywood Hill circa 92 and a bunch of gay dudes loved it! This is back when they'd fuck in the hills

Jake Kuick is amazing at keeping the focus on Josh and translating the thrill of rushing down the road. I’m wondering what the hell that must feel like, propelling yourself forward and having gravity and momentum take you to a speed a car could easily reach but knowing that you’re so exposed and free on the skateboard??? I am a couch potato coward so it’s a second-hand thrill for me to watch these

This is one of the best runs I’ve seen anywhere on a LB SK8 or surfboard. This is authentic and real. The wipeout at 6:20 gives this real authenticity. This is more vintage surf than anything done by these flippy bowl riders. TA said that his most respect is for the all terrain skater. It doesn’t get any better than this. This was hardcore Dewey Weber shit built for speed. Respect.

it's so sick that he's not out of his depth doing this... just watching the video stresses me out because i'm thinking about vehicles or bikers coming up to corners and how much trouble i have stopping and sliding (i'm not very good, granted)... but just to have the comfort to take it to this level is amazing

My heart was pounding watching this. I was so scared for him. Also being a former skater myself, when he bit it, it was only because there was unexpected pieces of gravel on that turn. Otherwise he would have made it. I'm just glad he didn't fly off the ridge and this end in tragedy.

Haha good thing you didn't slide off the edge of that cliff, I've gone off that same corner and slid down about 20 feet hit a rock and thankfully stopped because there is a vertical cliff further down it
