The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers are beginning to establish themselves as the dominant teams of each conference with the arrival of rookies Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. The relative obscurity and competitive parity of the 1970's is in the past as a new, superstar-driven era of the National Basketball Association emerges.

That San Antonio series was Calvin's greatest moment as an NBA player. He exploded for over 30 points three times in the seven-game series, including an incredible 42 in game 7 where he was virtually unstoppable and made San Antonio look silly. I'll never forgive Del Harris for burying him in the finals against the Celtics, and basically ruining the last two years of his career.

Gotta love the underdogs. Im glad Moses got his ring with Philly. Those Celtics and Lakers Teams were super.
Ps I wonder what the odds were (money line)? On that LA series and the Western Conference Series.
