Read your book and started a RUclips channel which now has over close to 2M views and 10K subs and been making some extra $ on the side of my regular 9-5. I relate to this so much! I recently ended a dream but I did so willingly. After 7 years of running a fashion business I realized it was no longer what I wanted. Now I’m venturing into the online business space teaching others how to do what I did, which will give me more time freedom and a better pace of life. I’ve realized that I wouldn’t be able to do what I’m doing now had I not pursued the dream in the first place. It hasn’t been the smoothest transition, definitely a bit of an identity crisis and the urge to conform but by God’s grace I will continue to walk in faith and pursue this new dream that I believe I was destined for all along ❤
I've been standing here at the identity crisis intersection for about a year now. My musical story is almost a carbon copy of yours. That dream was over at 37 years old, and I tried to revive it in my mid-50s. At around 58 my next dream was simply recording my songs (thanks to your RR channel), but that died due to vocal issues, which are slowly getting better. My next dream at 60 was to earn money as an online marketer, but that's not really where I'm at, no matter how much I want to be. I turned 64 in July of this year. I've followed you for years, but dropped off some time ago. Sorry about that. But I'll be pre-ordering your book, and hope it boosts me even more like this video did. Thanks, Graham. Joel Young

I really needed this! I have since started a YT channel, teaching Smartsheet based on your guidance and it has been very successful! Your stuff really really works! Take care bro
Thank you Graham! My dream of making a living with my own music kinda died, but I turned it around. I successfully launched 3 cohorts of an online course which is based entirely around writing, producing, recording, mixing and mastering a song by me and my wife! But even after all that experience I find it tremendously hard to sustain this business, and for 4 years I struggle to make teaching music online my primary income. Eventually it developed into a service-based business, hiring other freelancers to do music production and mixing for clients, and hiring a manager to communicate with them. My job now is only to listen to the work done and give my critique. And the time which is now available goes to creating content and launching new products finally! But the pivot is very painful, but needed. I needed 1,5 months to come to this exact point where I don’t have money to feed my wife and kids. But one successful launch can turn the situation to a good one! So, finally I’m finishing a sales page and video of a mastermind and launch it for ongoing money. Now I see that I’ve always been a rebel, and with this decision to stop doing music production and mixing for clients I see the opportunity to impact the world to best and most authentic extent that is possible!

I've been following your content for more than 3 years now , I had a dream to become an entrepreneur and a fitness influencer, and it didn't work out as I expected it to work out, got a job at 26 also in the fitness space and I lost hope and I'm not looking forward for the future as I used to be, now I'm motivated to back to online business again with different goals, standards, and I will keep working on it and continue dreaming and improving.
Your discussion about getting a back door into the music industry reminds me of the late musician Jimmy Buffett. From what I recall, Buffett wanted to be a country music star, couldn't get in the industry, and ended up creating a genre of music that eventually came full circle to be embraced by the country music industry.

It doesn’t sound like being a musician was your dream. You wanted money and recognition and music was your avenue to get there. People that are passionate about music make music regardless of success and money.
