It’s kind of hard to agree with some of your points. Even I want to live in cities and not towns but the thing you need to learn is stepping out of your comfort zone. More than half of this video was you bolstering all the reasons to be in the Bay Area. Now I know people have opinions and don’t generally regret committing to them but living in place (“Freelanta”) won’t help you connect, network and grow as much as you have potential for. Btw I could add “Free” in front of any city xD, that doesn’t make it any better! San Jose is boring (I don’t live there) I get it but you always think about growing out of comfort zone, because that’s when you would know your true potential. You ain’t a student anymore in Atlanta, you’re now a professional so maybe start thinking in that direction.
Just because he is in his comfort zone doesn’t mean he isn’t growing or using his potential. He said he is early in his career and doesn’t want to take risks at this stage.

@@adm1794 There are so many Indian developers because tech giants outsource to India-companies can hire Indian developers for less than 10% of Americans' rate. Pretty good synapsis of the tech market in Bay Area. But if you really want diversity and a true urban environment, why did you not try New York? Atlanta is a mediocre compromise. Tech job market is vibrant here in NYC. And I worked in the Bay Area for 15 years. It's an absolute paradise, in my mind.
