Yeah but tbh, the most fun I had for a long time in the beta of the digital version was to open boosterpacks, getting new cards, exploring things for yourself without looking at meta stuff. I had no idea what cards are in there and it was just exciting to getting new cards and trying it out
Sure, if that's your goal then just don't look up meta stuff. If you're trying to improve your deckbuilding for the sake of upping your winrate tho, probably should. All depends on your goal
For some reason, I've felt weirdly adamant about building my own decks for this game. Never felt that way about any other TCG I've played. Thanks to this, I was able to make a really strong GT Goku deck. And it feels GREAT to play
You undersell a thin deck for the first turn you have 15ish% more of chance to get what you want every turn it gets closer to evening out but unless you draw your whole deck it's gonna be like 1 in 10 chance to be better. On top of that early turns are more important to allow you to snowball/deny your opponent from snowballing.
Another great video dood, love your content and your thought process/ratios when constructing your builds. Even now, since the beta test ended, I've been tweaking my builds everyday or so and your vids have been part of that journey lol
yo, these videos are super helpful and im glad i checked them out; but man i just noticed the books on your bookshelf are identical to mine, youve got great taste lol
I netdeck all the time since I never know how to build a deck no matter what game. However I do make little changes here and there depending on what I like and don't like for the deck.
The problem that I have with the decking Is 1. It can make it so that all the decks that you play against are the same, which can be a very boring play experience if every time you go to play, you’re playing against is using the same deck that you’ve played against before. 2. Depending on net decking makes players feel like they can’t be creative and try to come up with different strategies that fit their style. If they start winning with a deck they’ve netted, then why would they ever switch to something much more risky that fits their playstyle better or that they’d actually have more fun with.
Players are plenty stubborn enough to do what they like whether they netdeck or not. I'd give people more credit. And if they don't, that's they're right to anyways. So long as they're having fun, who cares. And if they aren't having fun, they'll try different things.
Broly is my main fw deck right now on digital but i have the hardest time against crit leaders. Other leaders i put up a pretty good fight against and squeek out some wins. How do you handle crit? I dont have any of the 6 drop gohans that add a life back or the gohan scr on digital but when i do or if i pull them they might be additions to the deck. I think the hardest part is taking life to fast and i end up loosing.
I've been googling and cannot find an answer. Maybe it's not even a consideration when building decks, but do ratios not matter? I'm a digimon player and when deck building, the ratio matters. I'm not sure if I have too many 1 cost? 2 cost? Not enough 3s? What's the standard for ratios?
Depends on the deck. Dunno that there's a standard ratio. Some decks require more 1 drops than others. But most decks will sustain with primarily 2/3 drops
Im totally new, but ive noticed that there are decks with multiple colors, but yet, im understood through the rules that your only set to only one color. Please help my confusion lol
I did my research lol I just realized that FW is a reboot of the game 😅 didn't mean to confuse, I'm brand new to the tcg and I had to apparently catch up with the scene.

Adding this to the list of things that show people the fundamentals. Good video for Masters/ FW !

Thanks for the help fam! Just now getting into this card game. Also, is that a large Duel Masters card in the background or am I trippin?

Been testing goku black just feels like you have no answer vs green so excited to see if others can crack deck

What general number would you recommend for 1-6 drops when building a deck? The starter decks have around a dozen 1 drops.

Ty for this video
Good content! We are pretty new but think you might enjoy our battles! Maybe we will even do some fusion battles... Keep it up!
Where do they sell these cards

For some reason I get game errors when I try to go below 51 cards in my deck?
It counts your leader in the deck count, so 51 is 50 maindeck + 1 leader

Odd, really shouldn't be possible right now. Dunno where you're seeing this
