I love watching them pendulum... Also, notice how every time, they complete the apex of their turn before the gate is even reached, allowing them time to transition to the opposite edge and set up for the next turn, and then, gate. Always thinking 1-2 (or more) gates ahead. Very impressive.
Michaela skied that like butter. Made the dude look awkward by comparison, and he's obviously a top notch skier. In nearly 40 years of observing skiers, it has been the most centered & poised skiers that catch my eye. And most of the time, they are women. They are not necessarily the "best" skiers, whatever that means, but even if they are just putting along, you can see they get it. They have found the center of their skis and know how to stay there. As opposed to the 9 out of 10 skiers I see today who don't know where the center of their skis are, & ski in the back seat. Sometimes it's not much, but any is poison. Michaela has it all. The natural grace and poise of female athletes combined with a competitive spirit & determination equal to the best of any man. And she makes it look easy. There's nothing more bad ass than a bad ass woman.

Dude, they are not skiing on the same day and from the looks of it, the guy is skiing a much tougher course.
