I'm pretty sure I have actually been on that! Back in 2010 on a School Camp to Nelson, the school hired two coaches from Wadsworth. I actually only got on this one once, as for the other days of the trip I was on the other coach. I distinctly remember those rainbow seat moquette on this one, which is how I recognized it!
Very nice video, Nick!! We do not have Japanese buses here in Europe which is quite a pity...Did you hear the news that Van Hool (one of the worlds leading bus builders from Belgium) got bankrupt. Still hard to believe, here. Kind regards from Harald, (Belgium)
Hi Harald , no I hadn’t actually, very recognised brand, such a shame , I will Google this and find some articles. I know you mentioned in your last comment that they had narrowly avoided bankruptcy, but from you say now it’s happened, sorry to read this . Glad you enjoyed the video though 🙂🚌👍🏻
Thanks for watching 👍🏻, well not really, it was only non synchro in 1st to 2nd and vice versa. The position of the gears took a little getting used to, but they engaged smoothly, I don’t think you will see too many missed or rough gear changes maybe one in the hole video .
NZR was once government owed before went to privatized was sold to Ritchie's Transport Holding Ltd for South Island and Palovich Coachlines for North Island. Yes, I have seen some Hino bus variant on road.
Your hard work on this video project does not go unnoticed. Keep up the good work and keep growing.
My all time favourite buses 🚍 & coaches for working on will always be the Volvo B10M as they’re absolutely 💯 SUPERB Pal.
Excellent video, Nick. Well done 👏
Thanks Jordan, glad you enjoyed it.

Hi Alex , yes it was a Wadsworth coach recently. It’s a very tidy interior. Thanks for commenting, trust all is well.

Watching this video got me thinking that double-declutching would make gear selection a lot easier.
