I love they had Yunjin’s singing voice as Peking Opera, you really can’t translate it to other languages in any other way when you’re going for Chinese Opera thematic.
Do hope people will appreciate it somehow, been seeing people get pretty racist hearing traditional culture singing, saying she sounds like a sheep, disgusting, or cringe.

I'm a quarter Chinese and hearing it brings me back to my childhood when my grandfather took me to see one of those Peking Opera around Chinese New Year festivals.

and again we see people who have no respect for cultures other then their own. i found the traditional singing to be incredible interesting. if people would just, even for once, look past that racist ignorance maybe they too could appreciate a culture thats so different from what they are used to. im really looking forward to yinjin especially because she is inspired by a culture im not familiar with and am excited to learn more about.

Aside from the characters and new area, Windtrace re-run is the event i’m most excited about. It’s the most fun an endgame/beginner player can have, without regard of character investments.

I love the way Bran reacts to all the Mihoyo makes. It teaches me (and I think not only me) how to get surprised again by all the staff that I got used to, it helps me look at things from another point. and I really appreciate that and now admire what Mihoyo creates. Thank you, Bran and keep doing the same way, you are really cool!

Tiny indirect nerfs by adding new enemies and mechanics, i dont mind it much though it changes my loadout

Also I'm guessing you've already been told by so far most streams have featured English VAs instead of the Chinese developers but i personally prefer the ones like this one because it gives so much more insight into the world building and the development!

Even without coming from an mmo background, the updates are really frequent considering how much detail, content, and quality is in the game. Honestly, sometimes it feels too fast

when i first got into genshin in september i was like OMG EVERYTHING HAPPENS SO FAST SO MANY UPDATES while my other friends were complaining about how slow it is and i'm like "bruh" like wtf is everyone doing in the 2-3ish weeks for each banner??? and now that i'm "caught up" and can enjoy the game at the pace of everyone else, i still feel like i need to rush!
even the difficulty of the game or building characters wasn't hard, because coming from mmos, genshin is soooo easy in comparison, like i just get to have fun! (tho my friends felt some kind of way for calling genshin an easy game, when easy doesn't equal bad)
idk, there's rougher game systems out there that are hard just to be hard without the amount of story and lore and GENUINELY impactful and interesting characters like genshin has. i'll take genshin grind and 6 weeks (6 WEEKS HOLY SH-) in between each patch over waiting months and months for...anything LOL
sometimes 3 months later in some mmos (*cough* eso *cough) is just a patch for a fucking ui bug in the guild stores like BRUH

There is more content this time around then previous events. Excited and really looking forward to pulling for Shenhe, Yun Jin and finally after all this waiting. I get to C6 Ganyu, my favorite character in the game ❤️

Yes Yunjin is Geo Beidou. Elemental skill is a counter-parry, while elemental burst is a buff that procs extra damage whenever you use normal attacks.
I don't think her skill parries like Beidou
@@BranOnline Yes it does. They work the same: holding the skill creates a shield, pressing E at the right moment when an enemy attacks immediately charges up the skill (in Beidou's case max damage, in Yunjin's case charge level 2).
Main difference is that Beidou's E does not charge automatically (so if she doesn't get hit the damage is weak), while Yunjin automatically charges (but i believe her maximum damage is lower)
Then their elemental bursts work roughly the same but also slightly differently. Both create a buff that procs an extra attack whenever you hit enemies with normal attacks. Beidou's is a chain lightning, while Yunjin's is a set of individual secondary geo hits. Main difference is Beidou's is duration based while Yunjin is hit based.
@@BranOnline BTW neither of their skills are true parries. Rather using their skills creates a shield that protects them for a certain amount of HP, if the hit deals more damage than their shield, even if it's a perfect-counter they will still lose HP.
What parrying does is simply charge their attacks to deal maximum damage immediately instead of (waiting for 2 hits in Beidou's case, or waiting 2seconds in Yunjin's case).

I somehow missed the livestream because I didn't even know there was gonna be one- But I especially loved Yun Jin's part! It's always amazing to see how they implement so many cultural things into the game, it's extremely interesting and refreshing to see! Absolutely hyped for Enkanomiya too, I LOVED Watatsumi island's aesthetic, and am so happy they're expanding into that deep ocean kinda vibe lol super excited! Aside from that, glad that Windtrace is coming back

Le gasp!!! I just remembered *why* I felt nostalgic hearing yunjin's opera line! I used to watch a lot of old wuxia movie by the Shaw Brothers Studio with my family. They also incorporate these opera singing style in their storytelling. Aarrrgghhhh no wonder I felt something hearing her singing. This takes me back. Nuuuuu it's been so long!!!!!

The dragon-like event boss gave me Plesioth PTSD... And those shark-like Vishaps that have increased damage when attacking a unit with low energy? My Raiden will have to work overtime with Fischl now... UUUURRRRGGGGHHHH... SO MANY STUFF TO DO AND SO MANY FREE STUFF... I don't know why but Shenhe kinda give me Herrscher of Sentience vibes, being labelled as "support", where she "supports" the entire team by killing the enemies by herself so your other units doesn't have to do so...

Unfortunately in my home server, 90% of the Genshin discussion is whining and moaning and groaning about anything and everything and I literally cant handle it anymore. Funfact: The wei hillichurls (unusual hillichurls) are actually cameos of the CEO Da wei! That's why when you meet him he doesn't attack you straight away. His attacks consist of huge primogems, cabbages, and HOMUs! A HOMU is a yellow bunny from honkai, and the cabbages are also a reference to AI-chan in Honkai, pretty cool imo.

Btw, most of the streams are handled by the voice actors, they only pull out the devs for the really big updates, think we had the devs speak like this only 3 times so far. so it's certainly one of the bigger updates, however most updates are no slouches either.

I’m actually lost for words, as to how good this 2.4 update is. We couldn’t of asked for more and Mihoyo have definitely delivered on the new skins, a pick of any Liyue 4* character, 10 free wishes, new 5* and rerun characters are all amazing! I’m super hyped to explore Enkanomiya new map area too!
