my question is if you are just starting out and have no customers, how do you sit there in your studio all day. 7 days a week, when there's no walk ins?is it bad to be by appt only

No of course not! I have always been appointment only. I first rented a room in a salon to learn how to run a salon and to meet the clientele. When I first started, I dedicated 2 days per week to sitting at the salon and chatting it up with salon clients between appointments. When I left and was in my own, I was still 2 days per week, but I’d stack my clients one right after another. Then the other days of the week, I’d live in my DMs conversing with potential clients and creating content to attract more leads.

@@victoriaracca its been really hard because its not a salon but a studio where everyone has there own private studio. If there's one thing that I can do to get more clients what would you suggest. And you are right the social media are scammers they promise you the world and don't deliver

@ i would say make sure you have an actionable plan in place. Something that you write down and can check off as you go. Make sure it’s written out day by day so you know exactly what you should be doing on Monday, on Tuesday, etc. Hold yourself accountable. Make sure it’s social media content AND boots on the ground content. If you need help, go to www.victoriaglam.com/consulting and get a plan laid out for you 🫶🏼
