First, you need to Understand HOW you will Make Money
When I started my blog, I did what most of the people do - I tried to apply to Google Adsense as soon as I could, to run some ads on my blog. That's what you were going to do, right?
Well, let me tell you why maybe you shouldn't.
Yes, adding ads from Google Adsense or Media.net is the easiest thing you can do with a new website to start making some money.
Usually, it’s enough to have about 20 posts on your blog and something that a lot of people don’t know about - you need a Privacy Policy page before you apply!
But if you ask for my opinion, I don’t think you should even bother applying to Adsense when you have very low traffic because they pay very little for each 1000 of visitors.
When your traffic is lower than 1000 visitors a month, you will be earning less than $10 with display ads. Yes, less than $10 per month. So it’s not worth sending your small audience away from the site for so little money.
What would I do first if I started my blog these days, knowing everything that I learned in 5 years?
Affiliate Marketing
My top recommendation for you is to find affiliate products that you can promote in your niche.
You can work with large affiliate networks but don't bother joining Amazon Associates, this is like Google Adsense just from affiliate marketing - very low commission rates, very high risk of getting your account blocked for no reason with all the $2.5 that you will be lucky to earn in a year.
Now if not Amazon Associates, which other large affiliate networks would I recommend you? Well, Impact, CJ Affiliates, ShareaSale, reWardStyle, ClickBank, Partnerstack to name a few. But which ones will work for you the best really depends on your nich e. ReWardStyle is best for fashion and

About 90% of my audience is female so I thought Pinterest would be a good traffic source to my site. Out of the 110,000 monthly page views, in the summer I only get about 400 monthly page views and about 200 in the winter. I also sell products but this spring my ad revenue surpassed my ecommerce revenue. I am now mainly focused on writing articles since the articles are receiving between 1500 - 6000 page views and 4 articles getting over 10,000 monthly page views.😊

Blogging is someone with enough patience for slow results in terms of generating visibility and organic traffic but if you use the right tools for proper SEO such as Moz, Ahrefs, and BlogHandy, to analyze and maintain your blogs without much knowledge about coding or SEO. your results can be satisfactory :)

Depends ... if your content covers that specific product for which you are applying, they will hardly reject free promotion.

Keep in mind that health-related topics are not easy for a beginner, all platforms want high-quality content from experts on this topic, especially Google with EAT algorithm, find some info on it and if you don't have a real expertize in this niche I would start with something that's not so difficult.

You should track your stats with Google Analytics. Yes if you start a new blog with a new domain, that will a new account and your stats will start from 0. If the content is good on your old blog, you could migrate it to your new self-hosted blog to take advantage of the work you've already done.

Hi! Do not start a blog in two languages. That will be confusing for search engines. Bad for SEO. Two separate blogs is much better. The blog in English should be in .com domain zone and the blog in another language should be in the domain zone respective for the language. There are more nuances to the second language, if it's French probably .fr domain but Spanish is not so straight-forward as you have a lot more Spanish-speakers in Latin American countries than in Spain.

No, you can start at any time, especially the low-cost products that don't take you a huge amount of time to create (usually shouldn't take you more than a week to make an eBook, or some templates or whatever other digital product you are thinking about). And they don't need a fancy complicated sales funnel, it's enough to have a sales page for the product and mention the product in your own content.

You can monetize but you'll end up switching to WordPress anyway later down the road, wix is not flexible enough
