This band has so many great classic influences like Black Sabbath and Zeppelin, and I hear some Queens of the Stone Age and Kyuss influence on this song, one of my new favourites.
2:33 I call it the reloading moment, it feels like he is reloading all the instruments, also his voice and style some songs have this moment, which is totally awesome moment!
Hey there gypsy, walk without a sound See those people try to put you down She's got wisdom inside her hand For no good reason, ever could be found With all the people living in this town Searching for wisdom inside the sand She's got hands that go inside my mind She's got hands that go inside my mind This time I think I'm feeling fine Somehow they seem, seem to get around Giving the message from the underground She's got that wisdom inside her hand She's got hands that go inside my mind She's got hands that go inside my mind I think I'm feeling fine With the thoughts that you have or that you find It can confuse you some of the time It's like you're chasing smoke into the night Somebody's changing to the call of the wild She's got hands that go inside my mind I think I'm feeling fine
Pulling from so many influences to make such an amazing fussion. This is the kind of breathtaking influential album that will be listened too in years to come like zeppelin and floyd. FUCKING AWESOME !!!
3:40-3:42 sounds like it came straight out of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard's playbook; I wonder if Wolfmother is an inspiration for them, or if they're just pulling from the same sources.
I was playing guitar earlier this riff came into my mind, and I thought, "Hey this sounds like a great riff; I think i've gotten somthing here!" Then I remembered, "Oh wait, this is Wolfmother. Whatever." And I played Wolfmother for a hour, and it was not of this world.
I've bought guitar and I play Pilgrim and other their songs in 2021 :D Sounds great. Must've worked on that solo which tabs don't exist on the Internet, but I've worked it out and with my friend on bass it's the coolest thing ever
@robotchicken224 Being a die hard Led Zeppelin lover since... Who knows when, I can personally see many differences between them. For instance, the shifts in their voices, the effects on the guitar, the beats, the depth of the lyrics, etc. Wolfmother is a new band. They are their own. They shouldn't need to be compared to any other band. Wolfmother is a sound. Wolfmother is a band. Wolfmother IS Wolfmother.
@robotchicken224 theres tuns of other new bands that write real rock n roll....check out witchcraft,brutus "from norway" ,graveyard,radio moscow,the sheepdogs,buffalo killers,the mediums,the graviators,dead meadow,etc etc
Wow wolfmothers went to shit, this song is just a interpretation of the dead meadows song, Everythings going on. off Shivering King and Others which is there best work in my opinion, and origionally from howls from the hills.
They're not ripping anyone off. The fact that their riffs, cues and solos resemble those of great bands simply makes them another one of those great bands!

@robotchicken224 i agree, i mean it sucks that lots of their songs are similar to other bands...almost like they copied them. but nowadays, with all the pop and rap crap that should never be called music, i am thankful that this band made this album...rock and roll can never die!!
Wolfmother are great but alot of people on here act like their the only modern classic rock sounding band who write real rock n roll, their is tuns and tuns of other bands that sound even more 60's,70's than these guys their just not as famous, listen to Witchcraft,Radio Moscow,Brutus,Graveyard,Dead Meadow,The Black Hollies, the list goes on.
I have a proposition. The rock world must not dislike beiber but make rock simply more popular. spread the word. link wolfmother zep ect to ALL videos on yourtube. tell all people you know to watch wolfmother and the other classics. THIS is what will propel our rock world beyond rap and hip hop. WHO IS IN?
@jasonbloss Mate, don't be ridiculous. Applaud them for who they are and what they do...not who they're trying to be. Because they've got their own distinct sound and I for one, am welcoming our new Aussie rock overlords! \m/
first thing i thought was...damned hell ozzy got his old voice back. great music of wolfmother.sounds like a mix of sabbath,deep purple and mr page...im really surprised in a time where bands just exist to make money for trash.this is the right way.go on wolfmother
@kirby282 I accidentally clicked the "thumgs down button" when I meant to click to the thumbs up one. I'm only telling you this because I agree with you completely.
I honestly wasn't sure when this song came up on Pandora while I was reading whether it was Led Zeppelin or Wolfmother. But I love both bands, so I guess I'm okay with it. If music didn't draw from previous influences in history, we wouldn't have music at all.
This band has so many great classic influences like Black Sabbath and Zeppelin, and I hear some Queens of the Stone Age and Kyuss influence on this song, one of my new favourites.
easily one of the best bands to come out in the last 10years
So is Art of Dying. Seriously.
2:33 I call it the reloading moment, it feels like he is reloading all the instruments, also his voice and style
some songs have this moment, which is totally awesome moment!
You nailed it
Hey there gypsy, walk without a sound

Awesome! Thanks🙏🙏🙏 Much appreciated🤙🤙✌️
One of my favorite Wolfmother tracks.
Everything's Going On
I've listened to them all and heard some great rock and roll. Thanks!
Pulling from so many influences to make such an amazing fussion. This is the kind of breathtaking influential album that will be listened too in years to come like zeppelin and floyd. FUCKING AWESOME !!!
fuark that breakdown though
At 2:40, the fucking world shatters.
sends chills through me every time I hear it
Other than my old favs, this is the only newer band I can listen too.
:58 - best riff of the entire album, without a doubt.

I miss the original Aussie trio.
i think most of the songs from Wolfmother would fit on Presence, by Zeppelin ,and not everyone wil notice the difference.
Love it!!!!!
@Scribbblez thank you. long live real rock
@mitchapaloozarules that just made my day
sick solo
(I think it's think bridge, correct me if I'm wrong...) The Bridge is just heavy.......with awesomeness......
@PSO541 they didn't steal it, they actually credit dead meadow on their album
DUDE WTF he sounds just like Robert Plant!!!!!!!
@robotchicken224 theres tuns of other new bands that write real rock n roll....check out witchcraft,brutus "from norway" ,graveyard,radio moscow,the sheepdogs,buffalo killers,the mediums,the graviators,dead meadow,etc etc
@phatbag1 thats good!

dude this sounds exactly like everything going on by dead meadow. even more respect i've lost for wolfmother.
@PGROSYE02 haha glad to have made your day. it so true tho
Didn't start as one - it IS one, it's called Everything's Going On. wtf wolfmother.
don't you mean Plant not paige?
Dead Meadow and Wolfmother's frontman have jammed together before. Dead Meadow is aware that the main riff is basically theirs.
Dead Meadow is a awesome unknown underground band, and Wolfmother is comercial pop with much "meh".
Still wolfmother has some good tunes.
Wow wolfmothers went to shit, this song is just a interpretation of the dead meadows song, Everythings going on. off Shivering King and Others which is there best work in my opinion, and origionally from howls from the hills.

You forgot the "A-aaaaah A-aaaaah A-a-a-a-aah A-aaaaah A-aaaaah"
perhaps the only modern vocalist who both respects, and lives up to the greatness of REAL rock (60's 70's style)
Yup. Only rock from two decades is "real", rather than music evolving and taste being subjective.
I gotta agree with you there... bit closed minded hey
IM ACTUALLY IN LOVE WITH WOLFMOTHER!!!! soooo gud
Awesome band, but looks like they arent that good going live
2:30 - 3:20 FTW :)
thank the lord for australia.

What do you mean wtf? On the alum it says the song was inspired by Dead Meadow, so it's not like they didn't give them credit.
your totally right, all the way man
the rap and pop is totally talentless thank god for these guys(who have mad skillz)
@kirby282 I accidentally clicked the "thumgs down button" when I meant to click to the thumbs up one. I'm only telling you this because I agree with you completely.
@robotchicken224 You are so right, they sound so damned zeppelinish :D They still keep the classic rock alive
I've got the Cockamoo frews and the frozeytoe brews, chupaloos too!
@Anglefan12 i agree, this is 100% better than most crap put out as music these days.
fuck yea! im gonna go learn this on guitar right now!
andrew stockdale is genius
Thank god some people still know how to make music. Wolfmother is best.
More like the past. But still good.
@yumberri dam right, aussies are AWESOME
@mitchapaloozarules I support this.
yeah right.sorry my fault
@jlk792 Oh, well thanks man.
@robotchicken224 true
I honestly wasn't sure when this song came up on Pandora while I was reading whether it was Led Zeppelin or Wolfmother. But I love both bands, so I guess I'm okay with it. If music didn't draw from previous influences in history, we wouldn't have music at all.
It's not his riff...
This is a remake of Dead meadow - everything is going on.
this actually started as a Dead Meadow song.
