Usually when you won't make direct eye contact with a questioner (especially looking down) indicates you're not being totally truthful. Of course she also could have been referring to a prepared script for questions that was on the desk. In her case, high probability that both are true.

kamala does not meet the constitutional requirements to be vp let alone the president.
Article Two, Section 1, Clause 5, of the United States Constitution established the eligibility requirements for serving as President of the United States, (which are exactly the same for the vice-president):
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
Her parents weren't American citizens and as far as I know never were. Donald, her father, was born in Jamaica and was a British subject and Shyamala, now deceased, was born in India. They met in the states while attending uc berkley.
