Hey Kristy! I came to that ‘people are doing the best they can from the place they are’ a few years ago. It definitely helps because as you say, it’s nothing to do with you. And there’s nothing wrong with someone expecting more than they’re getting, there’s nothing wrong with a person only being able to give what is perceived as the bare minimum. It’s just where they are. It’s sad that we have to meet these people to learn this lesson. Gosh, life is hard. I truly hate that people walk around wounded and don’t have the capacity when they need to, to help themselves. I really find that so hard. Even though I was once that person. It’s crazy!
