2021. Elvis career of more than 20 years. He had one concert when he was sick and bloated and few stupid and jealous people always talk about his last concert. How about the fabulous and wonderful ones. God bless you Elvis. We love you forever ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Elvis had bone cancer i his legs and 4 other major medical conditions. He had the same liver disease his mother had. His colon was enlarged, twisted, and spastic. He did not want to wear a bag so he did not have colon surgery.Since several of his conditions were not curable, he knew he would die young. He suffered much and even while on stage. He never wanted fans to know. His suffering is over.He is with Jesus now.
Yes it was that last concert that he was very bloated and you could tell he was very sick and not feeling well. But he gave it all he could. People always want to focus on that instead of remembering all those years he gave us. This man was a musical angel. And a great piece of eye candy too
I believe longtime Elvis fans, who have been there through the ups and downs, love him no matter how good or not his performances are. I’ll defend and love him until my last dying breath. People shouldn’t judge him unless they’ve walked a mile in his shoes. Rest In Peace Elvis.
I saw him on his second to last tour. He was in pretty good shape. It was my first concert I was 12 and my Aunt took me. No other concert I ever saw came close to Elvis he could really work a room like nobody. Never be anyone who comes close to Elvis. Wish I could have seen him in 1970 Las Vegas
i grew up a 70's baby..which meant my pops was an elvis fan from the beginning and he passed it on to me. I just wish that our current society would realize that they have music because of elvis. and we wont see another entertainer like him again. happy birthday E!
Considering this is only 6months before the CBS Special, Elvis looks so much better here. Its hard to believe how much his health deteriorated in those 6 months. He really looks like he's enjoying himself up there. They'll never be another like him. 👑
Yes, in this consert he seems pretty healthy and seems to be in average shape for 41 year old man. Still top in his game at that point. But maan 6 months after this he was not even the same person anymore, not the same funny and very full of energy personality and he didnt even look like Elvis anymore
@@conditionallyunconditional5691I know there's reports of Elvis was about 350 at the end,but I don't buy that at all. He looked about ,at a reasonable guess around 260-280 absolute max. It's said his colon weighed around 35lbs and twice its normal size, which in its self is unreal. He must of been in so much pain.
I was there that night. Went with a former student that has cerebral palsy. We were both mesmerized by this wonderful performance. I lived in Pittsburgh for eight years and left in 1977 June to move to Hawaii. This was my brightest memory of the city, a magical time. The crowd stood and screamed when he entered the arena. I was screaming, remembering my teenage years as a fan, and at the age of 35 here I was again with others the same age as the years rolled back. Thanks to a writer's reminiscences in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette on The Next Page dated December 25, 2016, I watch the concert again at the age of 75. My husband is 81, the age Elvis would be had he lived---and another Elvis fan enjoying this video. Thanks to the individual who recorded this for those of us who remember, and those who wish they might have been there. I live now in Hawaii, where Elvis gave one of his most famous performances, even as I was there for this one. God bless everyone this New Year's Eve 2016 with the memories of Elvis.
The best thing that happened to me was when I bumped into him after a show in Vegas at the International Hotel after I walked to throw 2 bottles of champagne that we drank celebrate my friends wedding. I was 16 and they wouldn't allow me in the Casino. So, as I was walking back to the Van, a door opened an out came ELVIS with a towel around his neck. We both said excuse me, and I saw his beautiful sky blue eyes. I just stood there watched him get into a blue Mercedes Benz stretched limo, with a bunch of guys. Which now I know where the Memphis mafia. I've lived him ever since. I did get to see him in Anaheim stadium in 76, cuz we tried to get tickets after I saw him, and he was sold out till 1974. I will ALWAYS CARRY ELVIS IN MY MIND AND HEART ❤ 💙 💜 💖 💗 💘 ❤ 💙
We are so lucky that someone from the audience recorded these few concerts , that now we can enjoy. They should've all been filmed in my opinion.💜💙💜💙❣️👑❣️👑❣️👑❣️👑❣️👑❣️
There will never B A singer better than Elvis..NEVER EVER...His Voice came straight from GOD, he has been 36 yrs, and still no one can even can close 2 his Talent or Voice,,Can't Help Falling In Love, was always his last song, at every concert he did, and he ever did do an Encore..He said always leave them wanting more, and BOY did we want More
What a thrill to come across this video--- I was at this concert. Traveled by chartered bus from Ottawa Canada. There was a blizzard and the road was closed right after we passed through. A great concert--RIP Elvis, you will live forever....thank you for giving all this beautiful music and memories !!! xxxx
@Margaret White--it’s said by ones close to Elvis that they WRAPPED him in Saran Wrap to hold his stomach in. Did you notice his stomach enlarged? Age was also a factor, plus the food 🥘 he ate plus drugs. Elvis was 41yo. when you saw him perform.
@@FLIPPER1439 who is 'they'. You sure 'they' didn't put a tin foil hat on him, too? Heck, maybe 'they' put his twin on stage. This might be a prototype version of AI. What ya 🤔?
Just outstanding, no one will will ever come close to the ability this man offered to this world. I am from Virginia, I saw him three times in concert. Those that never had the chance to see Elvis live, you truly missed out on a great wonder of history that will never die. I thank you Elvis and Always love you for all you gave
I agree wholeheartedly. I am 79 now and appreciate Elvis' tremendous voice more than ever. His gospel collection is truly above any other with the heart rending passion with which he sings. Touches the heart like no other. His spiritual connection to the entire world. RIP, Elvis ❣
I never knew about Elvis got to know about him on his death 1977 when I was 12Y 8 mth living in British Hong Kong. Eng TV Stn pre emptied all prog and showed all fabulous concerts 68 all to his last concert and kept airing Elvis concerts till 1982. No VCR to record down became Elvis fan instantly. Wrote letter to HK TVB station in 1983 with help from uncle with many fake signatures they replied regret to say no rights to re run concerts but instead showed his sorry to say silly movies. I always listen daily see his videos in my collection as no other singers makes the same effects as former living GOD of music in this world. Elvis is my 2nd GOD. GOD got jealous took him away for himself early.
Yes. But the same goes for other world greats and wonderful phenomena. There are heroes in every era. Elvis is one of the most important great soloists. Although I can no longer go to Elvis' concerts, fortunately there are still footage of his amazing performances. If you watch his footage and imagine him right in front of you, you'll get excited. Although Elvis has passed away, new works and values continue to be created. Like the Elvis movie from last year. A new generation will find new value in Elvis' great legacy.
Elvis is, was, and always will be the greatest entertainer the world will ever know. His voice never failed him. Thank you so much for this awesome video. His range was so incredible, from his falsetto to his bass notes.. Nobody, NOBODY could touch him, in talent and looks. He loved his fans and we loved him back. No other entertainer has or ever will have over 75,000 people participate in the candlelight vigil every year to celebrate the love we share for him. That's why he is THE KING!!!!!
The reprise ending of Hurt with Elvis LYING on the stage is absolutely incredible. There is a video clip of Freddie Mercury on here somewhere where he does something similar with his voice, but standing up. Elvis was clearly better even at that period in his life!
Elvis j'adore ton sourire tu as beaucoup de charme tu as beaucoup apporté à à la chanson grâce à toi la musique et ce qu'elle est aujourd'hui en 2023 merci Elvis
I was there at inferno of his best concerts. This will be in my memory banks until I die. Another thing I remember is the snow storm the next day I had to drive back to Maryland. But I would go to this concert again even it I knew about the snow storm. Hail to the king
This is a great show! He's so happy, he's wearing rings! In 77 he stopped wearing rings. The last year is when he was so sick. I'm glad I found this, it's a professional tape of this concert.
Elvis was 41yo and the toll of abuse of “mega drugs” plus performing beyond ones physical being-caused his demise. He kept trying to ~~FIND the LORD GOD~~who he knew could only give him👉peace of mind, but the song 🎵 he sang sums it all up~~”””I’m in a trap-I can’t get out””” explains his state of mind. Had Elvis taken 1 year off..to get help-he probably would have changed future performances. Traveling with Christian quartets as he told people close to him. Remember how he told Nancy Sinatra-“”I should have stayed in church ⛪️ “” he meant singing gospel songs without a doubt. I understand that his Golden records etc etc ~~were due to his Gospel Songs/Records~~Now that tells us the real desires of Elvis. He told us all! I’m sure he would have filled arenas in -every USA 🇺🇸State. Many Gospel Artists were filling arenas in late 1970’s…into 1980’s. I was at several and they were awesome…spiritually fulfilling that is. Elvis would have had to make changes on how he performed….taming down all the Gyrations, but that would have been easy as he was 40+yo. Elvis would have drawn 1,000’s, but focus would have been on the LORD ✝️ JESUS…and no longer ELVIS PRESLEY. 👉ONCE a person has had a true salvation-centered on the Lord Jesus~~that person is strengthened spiritually giving GLORY ONLY TO GOD. 🙌 Elvis would have found this easy to do once freed from the demons of drugs-we would have known the REAL MAN-ELVIS🌟
I can't understand why anyone has magnified any sickness in his life ...This is one of his finest live performances and his voice is so strong, confident and versatile. His vocal power was incredible! A stunning man...♥
Catherine Houston I fully agree with you.He is fantastic.Doing hurt singing from his soul. His voice doing that pitch and on the floor with the ending? Superb!!
I agree with u! I think in Jan 77 he had wrote he’s just tired of it all. I’d be too, it’s too much for so many years! Imagine the possibilities he would of had if he has rested longer, other opportunities would of been available to him. It just really makes you sad. He didn’t have to slim down too too much …but looks like the meds were swelling him up in his face and tummy, and maybe the pills were affecting his appetite ….but more than anything he needed to rest his eyes and his body, just rest. His eyes were so bad…u can see how he alwys grabs his head and eyes …the pain he’s going thru yet he’s working so hard through it…all for his fans. It’s heartbreaking . Migraines glaucoma etc geez. Just want to give him a huge hug! 🥺
@@SimplyBellaa_xo I second your sentiment 100% Isa, and since I can’t give you a fraternal hug 🤗 I propose a toast to, our love and admiration for King Elvis…Salud! 🍻
@@SimplyBellaa_xo wholeheartedly agree. Glaucoma so so painful . Giving his all to his fans. I just wish he’d have had people who genuinely cared . Wish I could have hugged him too 😢😢😢
Wow what a show! This show certainly earns it's reputation as one of Elvis's best ever! Even Lisa Marie makes an appearance! I live near Pittsburgh and I remember the hype surrounding the show. Even a sixteen inch snowstorm on New Year's Eve didn't keep Elvis or his fans away!
Nor did the extremely steep price of $20 for third tier seats beside the stage.... The Colonel learned a year earlier when he booked Elvis into the Pontiac Siverdome the profit potential of New Years Eve shows.
I don't think I have ever seen Elvis enjoying himself as this concert! Looking at his face smiling and singing. He was having so much fun. I don't know who booked him this night but thank you so much. I wish I had attended that concert. I had so many opportunities to see him and didn't because of work . Thank God for giving us Elvis. I am blessed to live while he was here on Earth. Thank you God!!!
I know if I live to be 200 years old or older, I will never experience a man and his music like this. The best- He loved the Lord and the Lord knew Elvis was real tried of everything, AND took him home to rest a bit.
Surprised to see how well Elvis looked here. Shame because Elvis had at least another 20 good years or so to perform. Moved to Memphis in 1976 and found out that Elvis was the greatest guy we always thought he was!
Closest ones to Elvis-even his Dad could not get Elvis to stop taking Drugs. Elvis was 💯% addicted~~SO VERY SAD 😔 Remember how Elvis response to his close bodyguard--“”””I NEED THESE PILLS 💊 “””” Justified Addiction is when a person believes their own lies😢 There were-NO Betty Ford Centers back then, however I just found this➡️ Dr Rusk “”the father of comprehensive rehabilitation” founded in 1951 New York. There was HELP, but Elvis controlled his own behavioral habits. No one could stop him….he had to help himself. A decision to face reality and make choices for ones self-has to be the WILL of the person❗️ 👉REHABILITATION==defined as bringing back to a positive condition.
He had many great shows!!! January 14, 1973 Aloha from Hawaii, June 27,1977 his last show even though he was 8 wks away from leaving us!! He still had that powerful voice!! Watch them shows listen to how he belts out on Hurt, How Great Thou Art they are the best versions that I have ever heard!!!!! R.I.P. ELVIS!!!!
How could his health have deteriorated from this performance until the following August when he died?!! What a difference in his looks & energy, but still, the same gorgeous voice. Never lost it. Love him!
Elvis lived with alot of pain but always gave us fans his all.. Elvis was the one and only, greatest entertainer of the twentieth century. I am still listening in 2023. We love you and miss you forever Elvis ❤
His voice is strong and clear he don't look puffy he is in a great mood and in the most playful and trying to make people laugh more playful then I have seen him on stage since he returned to the stage in 68and 1969 this probably is one of his best performances since 1972 and 1973 and he does not look high or under the influence
Before it was getting an autograph from Elvis, then when he passed away, people started getting autographs from those who worked with him, especially his band members, Memphis Mafia, ex wife, etc. and after all they are gone, it will be getting autographs from fans who saw at least one of his shows. This guy is a legend.
It had to be hard for Priscilla because she loved the world's most gorgeous man and humble man and the best entertainer ever the girls going crazy over him all she wanted was to have him all too herself and that was clearly not ever gonna be he shared his life with all of us just a beautiful man ever and ever
@Phil Silverman He played also the organ , drums bass, fender, acoustic rhythm guitar, accordion mandolin ..etc. DJ Fontana said he played any instrument he felt like..that all he had to do was pick it up and play it.
Hermoso ELVIS único adorable su musica me acompaña en mis tareas domesticas Gracias por compartir ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ canciones hermosas de ELVIS PRESLEY por siempre❤❤❤2023 15 12
Regarded as the best Elvis concert of ‘76 and probably of the last 3 years. He’s in terrific spirits, form and attitude. It’s amazing how in tuned his band is as well. When, during “Fairytale”, he tells the band to “slow it down, slow it down” and without missing a beat they slow the the rhythm down and keep right on going. That’s a band that’s in tune with their lead singer!
Yep, the one thing that stands out a mile here is how relatively well and fit he looks. When he concentrates on his singing he is as brilliant as ever. He is the GREATEST - period !! .x.
this is by far the best elvis concert I've ever seen. he really put his heart and soul into this one. it looks like he was having fun, he really tore it up on hurt, great stuff
@drright10 you misunderstood my comment. I meant it was the best concert of 1976 that he did I should have wrote that instead. Considering the fact that his life was up and down in 1976
JD Sumner had the Worlds Lowest Pitched Voice, Elvis was sent from God to make us Happy, he Changed the World! The American Dream Come True ! Electrifying Today most Artist can't even sing. He never lost his voice! He had it all Charisma , looks, talent , Heart. He gave Millions away never asked for anything, he never forgot where he come From. TCB forever
Nosso lindo trabalhava dimais tanto assim e impossível pra um ser humano só quem não conhece a fundo sua vida tem audácia de falar mau dessa lindeza viva viva Elvis sempre
I was 15 years old at that time and had a ticket along with other family members to see Elvis. Because my baseball coach lied to me about having to be present at a game in order to qualify for the allstar team so I gave my ticket away to my brother's friend but when I got to the game I found out that I already made the allstar team and that my coach was just kidding. I was so angry at my coach that I quit the team . My biggest regret of my life to this day is missing Elvis for a baseball game. And in 62 now.
Elvis was a charismatic spirit. He loved entertaining. His voice alone is captivating. He glorified God but yet was sadly troubled in life. His tenacity and energy to entertain was phenomenal. We thank you for your electric love Elvis!
je suis fan d elvis depuis 58 ans je l ai vu 3 fois en concerts cette homme me fascine autant que le jour ou j avait en main un vynil de lui j avais 6 ans . j aime elvis et jusqu' à mon dernier soupir.
If Elvis what would never existed where would music be today. Every one of Elvis concerts should have been recorded, a lot of his songs were more power when he was on stage because he loved being there it made happy, I hate to think of how many wonderful concerts I never got to see, he really put his whole heart into his shows, he never disappointed his fans because he loved them and they loved him an still do.
Who said that Elvis lost his voice when he was sick etc.? That's not true and this concert prove it. His voice never left him. Just sit back and listen to that voice! He is The King of Music =D R.I.P Elvis Presley.
I never had the pleasure of seeing Elvis in concert but I understand that his voice , in the mid 70's could literally shake the building. He worked at keeping his voice strong & sang every day. Even in the mostly sad to watch summer '77 shows he never lost the voice. He mostly just gave up at the end but always had the voice.
This is probably his last GREAT concert. He had dropped considerable weight from the summer and was very active on stage, looked and sounded great. Nothing to be embarrassed about. Other concerts after this were okay to good...
I Love to listen to Elvis's music and he really has a wonderful voice and shows so much feeling and expressed so much feeling while singing I just Love him and always will. I grew up with his songs. He wass so talented it is so sad that he died at such a young life. I am moved so much seeing how he was becoming more unhealthy during the last years. How people could stand by and see how bad his health was becoming is very sad and breaks my heart.
Elvis never lost it. He always had it until the end. I think the spiral down began when he was getting the first drafts from the book "Elvis What Happened". I don't think he thought he could recover from that. The drug use and the sense of giving up was put on the fast train when his so-called friends wrote that book. He thought it was over. He just didn't realize how much we loved him and would stand by him no matter what anyone said.
I wasn't born to see Elvis live, I am sad that we have to put up with crappy Artists today. Elvis, PLEASE COME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a HUGE Elvis Fan, been a fan since I was 3 yrs old. I am now 23 yrs old. Never saw him in person, live, ect.. only on Tapes/DVD's & on RUclips now... Sad to see a great performer leave so early in life. He seemed like a good person over all. He is the type who actually liked his fans, when these artists today are mostly in it for (FAME & FORTUNE).. But Elvs liked his fans, he actually went & talked to them.
You are so right! Elvis loved his fans and he lived for them! We will never see another human being like him again in many lifetimes or ever! He gave his fans cars, who does that? Elvis does, he is a gem...
your so right there in it for the money, i don't buy any thing else just Elvis i listen to him every day and night.. i wake up to his music and fall asleep to his music.. I feel like a lot of people do Elvis did not die then maybe now but not then it was in his music between the lines.. Forever Elvis will live on he was a prince and then The king of Rock & roll I don't think there will ever be any one to top him if there is They will be sent by God Almighty. I wish he would have had a son perhaps he would have been like him.. Long Live the King Elvis.. Elvis Aaron Presley January 8, 1935 August 16 1977 You are remembered & still loved Long Live the "KING" Of Rock & Roll.. Happy Birthday Sweet Elvis.
In 1969 Elvis would go down to the gate at his LA home & talk to his fans as a way to start getting ready to go back on stage that July. He made quite a few life long friends that way. He would invite them into his home & show them his new stage costumes & stay up all night talking. Once he noticed an older couple had stopped showing up at the gate every day & he asked about them but nobody knew what had become of them. Elvis , on his own , found out their last names & also found where they lived (in a house trailer/mobile home thing). He went to their place & knocked on the door & hung out with the lady ,whose husband had been hospitalized (that's why they weren't at the gate any more). Elvis paid the bills for them until they got on their feet again. I can't imagine any other celebrity doing that.
Keith Glimmer Thank you so much for sharing that story...I can not imagine any other celebrity going to the lengths that Elvis went to help people in need...we know of some of the stories but I am sure there are so much more that he did that we don't know about...he truly was the most giving beautiful man
I was lucky enough to have been there that evening. I remember my mom telling me when I was on the fence about getting tickets to see Elvis, "You better go. You may never get the chance again" As it turns out, she was right. He passed that next August.. RIP Elvis..
Thank You for sharing Gene Meo!! I am happy for you that you had the amazing opportunity to see the King live - what a fabulous memory from this Pittsburgh New Years' Eve Concert it must have been....you should share more about this event, if you'll like? ;-) At this time, in late '76 I had been listening to Elvis for almost 2 years. I remember when I heard him the first time, in 1975, at a birthday party for my classmate Madeleine. I went up to the record player and looked at the album, a double record with Elvis.....I remember thinking; (only 8 years old at the time) 'Man, this is good, I gotta get some albums of him for sure!!' - And, so I did.....plenty of them!! ;-) I still love listening to Elvis at any given moment and for any reason whatsoever! :-)
Wow! Just seeing these replies now, 4 and 6 years later. I do feel very lucky to have seen Elvis in concert. It’s very special to me. I’ve recently been going through a resurgence of interest in him and his music. Not sure why but I’ve felt a need to hear him daily. What a gift from God he was. A beautiful man. It’s hard to believe that in a few years it will be fifty years since his passing. He’ll never be forgotten.. long live the King. TCB..
What an amazing and magnificent performance! Elvis did this show to the highest level of his capacity to entertain his fans and at the same time exuding so much grace, joy and beauty as the King of Rock and Roll in his New Year Show. We love you and miss you Elvis. I truly hope you are still wth us until today. Happy New Year and Happy birthday Elvis! From your fans in the Phillipines! We love you! God bless! 🙏🤩😍🎇💖💖💖🤗😘😄
All I see and all a can think about when I see Elvis is sadness...he was so ruined by the Colonel....Elvis and his talent really deserved so much better and so much more....he’d probably be alive today after a great dramatic film career and international touring career that he never got the chance to pursue due to the Colonels lies and greed....despite all that and no matter what anybody says, Elvis will always be the king of Rock and Roll
Damn Shame the colonel wasn't smart enough to get more concerts professionally filmed. Agree with Phil below. This should have absolutely been the final concert film to remember Elvis by. I wished the missing parts were in here, too. Wondering how long the concert actually was. More energy here than the 73 Aloha concert, and I love that one, too.
Happy to say I was there that night at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh. He kept the crowd of 20, 000 waiting for over 2 hours after the opening acts. I never saw a better concert in all my life. Many members of his band would later recall it was the last great concert he ever gave.
Every time I watch these concerts , it make me want to say .....no come back !!! I wish God could have changed it for him , so he could have lived longer . He was a beautiful man and the best singer and he always will be . Thanks for sharing this .
There will never be a performer like elvis in all the time the world as left, the voice range of a opera singer, wow do not forget this man did two shows a night seven days a week at vegas, how many people with the energy this man had even late into the final year of is performances , and on some occasions on weekends he would even do the odd third show , as he did not want is fans to have wasted there money coming to see him, and on arrival only being told they were sold out, elvis would put on a third show to let these people of travelled all this way fore nothing, how many performers today would do that, none. The voice of Angel and the greatest live performer that ever lived. I truly believe god as him now singing to is Angels and departed loved ones, god bless you, if there was ever a true legend this man was it, thank you fore the vast music archive you left the world with, and the joy and love you brought to millions worldwide
Thank you Mr. Tomek M for posting this show. I have been listening to the pirate recording of this fantastic show since the early 80s and one day way back then I purchased the film footage on VHS (like all the fans did in those days!) However, this film version is the most continuous I have seen (not a lot of skipping or gaps). Thanks again for posting this for all to enjoy! Peace and Love to all!
So I have read about this show for a long time, first time I saw it and all I gotta say is HOLY SHIT. Even in 1976, the man still had it. Looks great. Sounds great. At times, it looks like he got lost in the music, which is when he was at he best. Sad that 8 months later, he would be dead. When he put he mind to it, he was brilliant.
Greatest concert i've ever heard - used to have it on double-album vinyl, when he was still alive! Haven't had it or heard it again since the late '70s, but never forgot that incredible concert. NOW, to SEE it - Stupendous! I also saw him Live, in Augusta, Maine, less than 6 months after this - on May 24, 1977 - was definitely The Thrill Of My Lifetime - i still have the stub.
thanks to nick and the colonol, parker that sob was earning 50% of everything elvis did, he was dutch so am i and iám no proud of it,nick gave elvis so many pills he liked the living in luxery, witch doktor would travel night and day with a patient!
Some people never remember the good stuff, they like to put other people down, the make themselves feel better, a great performer will see that the show will go on no matter what, and that just shows you what kind of man he was, he never wanted to disappoint his fans. What a beautiful and wonderful man he was and still is in my book.
Elvis has been my idol ever since I could remember. My mom went to one of his concerts back in the early 70s and got to meet him. She said he was the nicest person she ever met besides my dad.
Little did this home movie expert realize what he was capturing at this time... far more than just another Elvis concert, and far more than just a great new years party.

His true fans love him always, these others are just jealous, Elvis one and only. Your simply the best
He never gave less than 110%of himself on stage, anyone who complains is not a true fan
So true , 👍 he looked fine here just six months before he passed away 😢
Yes it was that last concert that he was very bloated and you could tell he was very sick and not feeling well. But he gave it all he could. People always want to focus on that instead of remembering all those years he gave us. This man was a musical angel. And a great piece of eye candy too
I believe longtime Elvis fans, who have been there through the ups and downs, love him no matter how good or not his performances are. I’ll defend and love him until my last dying breath. People shouldn’t judge him unless they’ve walked a mile in his shoes.
Rest In Peace Elvis.
I agree! Elvis deserves all our love always! I'll defend him, too! TCELVIS!
I am with you.
AMEN ! ✌️❤️🙏🏻🕊️😇✝️♾️
I've been a fan since 1955, and will be.
So true James
I do not believe there will ever be anyone better than Elvis Presley. His voice is up to the demands of the song.Just perfect. Love you always Elvis.

Maybe in another 1000 years God might create another Elvis
Thank you those wise people that saved this video bjr
I saw him on his second to last tour. He was in pretty good shape. It was my first concert I was 12 and my Aunt took me. No other concert I ever saw came close to Elvis he could really work a room like nobody. Never be anyone who comes close to Elvis. Wish I could have seen him in 1970 Las Vegas
Hands down the greatest entertainer EVER!
I agree!
i grew up a 70's baby..which meant my pops was an elvis fan from the beginning and he passed it on to me.
He weighed about 225 and healthy here. Sadly, his weight steadily increased to 350 by end of '77.
Tal cual... tu tienes razón.
@@darylheasman1 I agree with this. I think his weight is often exaggerated - and so much of it was physical illness
I think he really looks happy at this concert.
He does!and I love when we can see his eyes open💕
My best friend and I saved our babysitting money & saw this concert when I was 17. Best New Years Eve, Love Elvis :)
Awesome
When he goes to the floor at the encore of Hurt that is out of this world...
Wow awesome carol, God bless you
Love hearing from fans that went to his concerts!
That fact there is no professional recording of this concert is very depressing.
I was17 and had tickets for Aug 17, 1977 Portland Maine. So devastated I didn’t get to see him. Appreciate all these posts!
Elvis is one of a kind..Elvis will never die.Elvis will live forever. All my love forever
Elvis j'adore ton sourire tu as beaucoup de charme tu as beaucoup apporté à à la chanson grâce à toi la musique et ce qu'elle est aujourd'hui en 2023 merci Elvis
His personality was always visible.. His love for his craft and his fans were his driving force..
What a concert...what a voice... what a King
What a man.
1976 wasn't a good year for Elvis but he really peaked at the end of the year and this is one of his greatest live performances ever.
Cliff for #1 This is better than Aloha Hawaii IMO. Truly great!
I saw him in Tampa in 1975. He wasn't quite as annimated as he is here in this one. He was wonderful though. He always was.

Catherine Houston I fully agree with you.He is fantastic.Doing hurt singing from his soul. His voice doing that pitch and on the floor with the ending? Superb!!
Agree that this should have been the last TV special. His energy was sky high for this show. One of the best ever.
So true Amen
Yea. That last one should have never aired. But, it's ok...he is still the King.

Can you imagine a 20 dollar show today .
@@glorial8955 And your gonna see Elvis for $20 or less...Unbelievable
I don't think I have ever seen Elvis enjoying himself as this concert! Looking at his face smiling and singing. He was having so much fun. I don't know who booked him this night but thank you so much. I wish I had attended that concert. I had so many opportunities to see him and didn't because of work . Thank God for giving us Elvis. I am blessed to live while he was here on Earth. Thank you God!!!

He is so great!!! Thank goodness someone taped this.....
I know if I live to be 200 years old or older, I will never experience a man and his music like this. The best- He loved the Lord and the Lord knew Elvis was real tried of everything, AND took him home to rest a bit.
Hard to believe that he died only 8 months later ... so sad ... what a stage presence. Truly the KING ...
Not enough concerts filmed of this superb entertainer
Suplasvegas This concert would be that much better if it had been professionally filmed and recorded.
Surprised to see how well Elvis looked here. Shame because Elvis had at least another 20 good years or so to perform. Moved to Memphis in 1976 and found out that Elvis was the greatest guy we always thought he was!
It is so sad that people close to him did not take care of him. Live and love forever Elvis❤
Elvis had to take care of Elvis.
@@kennethcurtis1856I liked that guy! Sad. Thanks! Daniel from Rio de Janeiro.
Closest ones to Elvis-even his Dad could not get Elvis to stop taking Drugs. Elvis was 💯% addicted~~SO VERY SAD 😔
Remember how Elvis response to his close bodyguard--“”””I NEED THESE PILLS 💊 “””” Justified Addiction is when a person believes their own lies😢
There were-NO Betty Ford Centers back then, however I just found this➡️ Dr Rusk “”the father of comprehensive rehabilitation” founded in 1951 New York. There was HELP, but Elvis controlled his own behavioral habits. No one could stop him….he had to help himself. A decision to face reality and make choices for ones self-has to be the WILL of the person❗️
👉REHABILITATION==defined as bringing back to a positive condition.
Surprizingly they did take care of him
Surprizingly his people did take care of him but how does one say "no"to the "King" when he pays the bills just ask red and sonny
He had many great shows!!! January 14, 1973 Aloha from Hawaii, June 27,1977 his last show even though he was 8 wks away from leaving us!! He still had that powerful voice!! His voice is strong and clear he don't look puffy he is in a great mood and in the most playful and trying to make people laugh more playful then I have seen him on stage since he returned to the stage in 68and 1969 this probably is one of his best performances since 1972 and 1973 and he does not look high or under the influence
Well he just met Ginger Alden, so maybe that had something to do with his playful upbeat mood....

Absolutely outstanding! TCELVIS!

It' s incredible! A great concert! Thank you!
You can sense all the magnetic charisma of Elvis.
Elvis was a charismatic spirit. He loved entertaining. His voice alone is captivating. He glorified God but yet was sadly troubled in life. His tenacity and energy to entertain was phenomenal. We thank you for your electric love Elvis!

That part at 17:43 just give me chills up and down my spine. Only Elvis could put a lifetime into one word.
I saw him in 77 his voice never sounded better 1st time I saw him was 1957 He started off singing don't be cruel He only got better as he got old

Beautifully said and great incite. I never thought about that, but my God, maybe he was ashamed and so addicted that he gave up.

Gene Meo OK I'm jealous of anyone who saw him live!

Always!
I guess the reason why was because the Aloha concert was via satellite and unprecedented. Elvis was so nervous.
@@gapstead he had to finish on time..he had time constraints for tv satellite broadcast..yes he was nervous.Who wouldn't be?
@@margarettaylor8107 even nervous-never showed except for ‘excessive 😓 sweating’ ~~even Knowing the jump suit was heavy & hot.
I was there , great show. Will never forget him. One of the best ever.
That was a great New Years Eve Concert, Elvis was awesome, his voice is so powerful.
Also the pounds he packed on in 8 months .
@@Jay-vr9ir A lot of it was swelling because of his colon.

3/22/2023 This was the best Elvis Concert ever! I’ve listened to his music since his first records! I’m 82 & still love his music!
Thank you for posting this brilliant show. Wonderful.
Fantastic feels like I'm just there in the crowd. Beautiful, sensational !!!! 2021
Grazie per aver pubblicato questo magnifico concerto di Elvis. Elvis ci hai lasciato troppo presto.
One word for this.INCREDIBLE. Elvis looking and sounding at his best again. It had to be the drugs that affected him so badly the following six months.
thanks to nick and the colonol, parker that sob was earning 50% of everything elvis did, he was dutch so am i and iám no proud of it,nick gave elvis so many pills he liked the living in luxery, witch doktor would travel night and day with a patient!
Fantastic! Precious film and music on this eve of 2023. Elvis and his brilliant talent stand the test of time. Love you, dear Elvis in heaven.
this show is exciting..Elvis was wonderful, as always..Danced handsome with very charming. It was an unforgettable show at last.
Some people never remember the good stuff, they like to put other people down, the make themselves feel better, a great performer will see that the show will go on no matter what, and that just shows you what kind of man he was, he never wanted to disappoint his fans. What a beautiful and wonderful man he was and still is in my book.
"Феристейл"-Эл кайфует от каждого звука. Ведь ему уже 41год, а энергетика мощная. Браво!!!
The greatest singer of popular music the world has ever seen, a towering American artist and a lasting symbol of hope.
