Hi! And what property can I specify in the subreport when exporting to excel for naming sheets, if I have a dynamic number of sheets? For example, a report needs a table by departments (their number can be added). Today it is 4 departments and 4 sheets in excel, respectively, and in a month there are already 15 departments and the template should be able to beat the table in the 15-sheet report
How can we avoid "phantom columns" which will appear on the sheets, when the tables have different number of columns? For example table1 has 5 columns with size 110 each one, table 2 has 6 columns with size 100 for 5 of them and size 50 for the last one. When i export this to excel, i always get an additional column on the sheet which takes the data of the table element with 5 columns.
I followed the setup for the properties (export.xls). So does this mean mean that I don't need to define another set for xlsx? xls will work for both instances? I am still confused on the other properties like title. I've seen examples of the number at the end being random. SheetName makes sense 1-3, but 'band.1= ' says random number. If it is random then why have it? Do you have examples or another video to explain some of the other properties?
Very well explained, thank you. I have one question, is that possible to create multi tabs dynamically? Like here we know we are going to create 3 tabs, how can we design if we dont know the number of tabs we are going to create and it might be based on query? is that possible?
Well explained thankyou Sir for this video, But I have a question can we create PDF and excel file in one single Report? if its possible then plz let us know
Thank you! I used those advanced properties and now I have my sub-report on a new sheet. Woo-hoo!
Thanks very much, you saved my time for search and testing
Thanks!
