Thank you for choosing to do a video on east Orlando’s Beefy King. I’m interested in what the general area is like. These kinds of establishments make for great experiences and are so interesting to see in a vlog. Something “off the beaten path.”
We loved Beefy it’s a great Orlando eatery. That whole East Orlando food seen is so diverse. That’s why we love doing our Friday travels. Thanks for traveling along and being part of our traveling family.
I grew up in the neighborhood behind the gas station - it was a Mobile gas and damn good auto repair. My dad took all of our vehicles there and he really trusted the owner (name escapes me now) and bought a few used cars from him too. When the market was a church & our Girls Scout troupe met there for meetings after school at the original Audobon Park Elementary (the sinkhole appeared when I was in 6th grade). So many changes on that block! Oh, and Beefy King has always been the best!
It is an Orlando classic that many travelers just don’t get to. I remember when there was a movie theater and a Belk Lindsey in what use to be a mall across the street. The Horseradish Sauce is my all time favorite. Thanks for traveling along and sharing your Orlando memories with us. Have a fantastic week
Gene's Mobil station I remember now - Gene was a great mechanic. My parents trusted him a lot.
@@TravelingAroundDisney Colonial Plaza - it was there before Fashion Square down the street. They opened Colonial South with Belk Lindsey as a pass-thru to get to it when I was in high school. And the Rocking Chair theater! Rocky Horror every Saturday night, and in the summer kiddie matinee shows we'd clip coupons from the Sentinel Star and get in for a quarter.

The sandwiches where fantastic and made even better with that sauce. Michelle did an absolutely fantastic job. The house smells like chocolate and butter with all of her cooking going on. Stay warm and hope your weekend is going great.

First of all if that’s team grape we need to talk lol. The sandwich is so good. I think the next time I go getting two sandwiches swimming in the Horseradish sauce and a coke and that will be perfect. You got everything already packed for your trip.

So excited to try the new treats from Munchandise. The Churro toffee was a favorite on our trip to Disneyland and I've always been bummed that WDW doesn't have it.

We loved the sandwiches and really enjoyed living on that side of town. Our daughters used to go to Conway elementary and I worked at Play it Agin on orange and Michigan. Thanks so much for traveling along with us and being part of our traveling family.
Oh my the donuts certainly looked good and the flavours surely sounded mouthwatering! I would definitely like to try the pumpkin spice, cinnamon pear and butter beer.
The Beefy King reminded me of a place I would frequent growing up. The roast beef sandwich reminded me of the fast food chain, Roy Roger’s. I’m sure Beefy King’s rolls were better. I can remember them having the horseradish sauce, plus other condiments. In fact, they were the first chai to have a fixings bar! Also, that was my first job I had.
Anyway, the tator tots looked so good, along with the milkshakes! I like the different flavours of the milkshakes, instead of the same three!

Donna the donuts were fantastic and that butter beer one was fantastic. Beefy King is just a great Orlando staple that must be tried. Live me a good fixings bar to where you can pile on the extras. Hell yeah, we’re headed to Orlando for Presidents’ Day weekend, and like always, first thing I’m doing is making a bee line for a corned beef sandwich w/ horseradish from Beefy King

Cherry milkshakes are awesome! One of our local convenience chains, UDF, makes an amazing cherry shake! You guys come up to Ohio and it's on me. Thanks for going to Beefy King! I was hoping you guys would make it there. My wife and I have added Beefy King to our ever growing list.

What flavors of donuts did you get, and what did you think of them? Did you have a favorite?
In this travel I chose the Tiramisu and the regular glaze. Michelle got the cream cheese guava. The others were the butter beer and the cinnamon roll for Becca and Mike. They absolutely loved there’s. The Tiramisu was outstanding and the glazed was made with a vanilla bean glaze. Everything was very tasty. If you get a chance to try them just remember they are a little tougher but outstanding. Thanks for traveling along with us.

Man that’s a tuff question. To us we like Sonny’s because it’s always consistent and we love the sauces. Polite Pig is always a favorite for us because of there sandwiches. Thanks for traveling along and being part of our traveling family.

How far would you say the drive is to that amazing donut shop from Disney world?
I would say it’s 25-36 minutes from disney depending on the traffic. That whole area has so many great food locations. Thanks so much for traveling along and we hope you are having a wonderful weekend

How many miles away is Beefy King from DW?
It’s not the miles it’s the time that gets you in Orlando. It’s about 25-35 minutes from Disney but so so good.
