  • This week I finished up the bumper and hitch on the F-350 project.

    Looks good! I have been looking at doing similar but I want to have receivers mounted in the bumper to reduce hang ups on my Jeep.

      Thanks! I’m working on the floor right now. I’ll be using 1/8” aluminum sheet. I’ll have a video about that soon!

    What’s the purpose of the angled bed if the bumper is wider than the taper?

      Just preference, I like the angled bed but I’ve been rear ended before on the interstate so I wanted to make the bumper almost full width.

      @@iamtaylorcorbett the only functional purpose for the angled bed is to increase usable bed space without getting in the way of a gooseneck trailer. so if you're not towing a gooseneck you can make it any which way you please and it doesn't hurt anything.
