"Congrats for the hedgehog making it this far into the big leagues," Palutena congratulated a grinning Sonic. Chris heavily speculated that cocky grin was going to get shot multiple times in a little while. "But does it compare to how controversial his last performances were?"
And thus, Sonic's grin went away. "What's that supposed to mean? I've been doing good lately," he said.
"No, no. I don't mean your skill. I'm sorry for going so meta on you, but I'm talking about how other people see your adventures as...let's just say, tedious to go through," the goddess said.
"My adventures? Tedious? They're not tedious!" Sonic said. "Hell, they're so awesome and full of action, it'd make Knucklehead's head spin around and 'round some more!"
"Really now? I heard your latest one went BOOM on itself because how dated it looked like," the goddess said.
"...Chris, mind filling me in?" Sonic asked.
The teen sighed. "She's talking about this other universe where..." he continued explaining everything for a while until he came to the end, "...and your arms are blue."
"Huh... Now I kinda want to play that game myself just for the giggles," Sonic said, his cocky grin coming back on.
Palutena did not want to waste any more time and made a TV set, a living room set, and a Wii U appear before them. "Alright, let us indulge ourselves into the magnificent world that is Sonic Boom!" she said as she saw Sonic quickly zooming into the couch to boot the TV and the console.
Thirty minutes later was all it took to make Sonic grab a nearby trash can and puke...or at least tried to puke. Chris discouraged Palutena from taking photos of the hedgehog's over reactions, but she somehow managed to keep the hedgehog from playing through the entire game by simply saying a white lie every time the hedgehog wanted to stop. "It gets better as you play," she would say. Despite Chris's protests, Sonic suffered, and Palutena greatly enjoyed herself.
Key Notes:
- Sonic has become a lot better in this game than in Brawl, but unfortunately, his super quick fighting style doesn't suit me too much. Oh well.
- He's got a crapton of speed. Dump a lot of Defense on him and he won't surely miss a drop his best stat... Well, he totally would, but he will never complain to you, the player.

SONIC: Yeah CN can still be jerks. Despite that though we over preformed even there and are now not only coming back with new eps but getting weekday reruns from time to time. Which means I'm sure we'll be getting better timeslots.
CHRIS: Yeah and CN is going to eventually realize you're style is very similiar to Teen Titans Go and with how much they overplay that I'm sure you guys won't be far behind.
SONIC: And that's a good thing.
CHRIS: Uh... maybe for YOU anyway.

CHRIS: If writing could send you to prision, probably not.

CHRIS: Yeah, so did the ninja turtles. It's nothing to brag about.
ONE MINUTE LATER!
PALUTENA: (Sees Sonic getting blasted by robots as the game starts) Woah, AMAZING plot right out the gate!
SONIC: (Mock gasps) Nooooooooo, my neckerchief!
CHRIS: Wait what the hell is going on? Should we know what's happening here?
PALUTENA: Yeah is this act three? (Imitating game designer) Sorry but uh... it was about to be Christmas, we didn't have time to write the first two acts.
CHRIS: (Sees rocks falling on Boom Sonic) He's dead, that version of you should be straight up dead. I mean by cutscene logic at least.
PALUTENA: (Sees screen flash the word Yesterday on it) Yesterday? (Giggles some) How cute. You're trying to pull a memento.
SONIC: Hey lots of amazing stories about me end with me being hoplessly pummeled by Eggman's forces and seemingly all is lost and pulling away to tell you what happened earlier.
PALUTENA: Such as?
SONIC: "Sonic's Christmas Last" (Palutena stars at him blankly) the 2012 DG Christmas story.
PALUTENA: Oh right the one that came out 6 weeks too late that despite being a smash brothers story was stuffed with Sonic characters.
SONIC: It was good.
CHRIS: I... don't remember liking it but I might of been wrong on that.
ANOTHER MINUTE LATER!
CHRIS: (Seeing the actual gameplay of Sonic and co running around) This looks like it made early PS2 Era.
PALUTENA: This looks like it was made 5 days ago.
CHRIS: It probably was. They were like (imitating game designer) We've got to ship it, this goes out tommorrow.
PALUTENA: (Imitating another game designer) But I'm not done with the graphics yet! All I've got is a picture of a hedgehog on a piece of paper.
CHRIS: Oh like a pencil drawing? (The two laugh at this).
SONIC: Hey it's not that bad.
CHRIS: Sorry Sonic but I"ve yet to have the opportunity to mock 06 for all it's "glory" so seeing another obviously unfinished mess of a Sonic game that clearly has no idea what it wants to be does kind of put me in the mocking mood.
PALUTENA: Yeah and I'm me so I just live in that insulting area.
CHRIS: Though seriously (looking at the unfinished backgrounds and clipping issues as the game continues on) I don't want to crap on this too hard as I'm sure someone worked very hard on this.
PALUTENA: Well "hard' is a relative word.
CHRIS: But mannnn, this is not finished. This is NOT a finished game.
PALUTENA: And we're only 8 seconds in.
SONIC: Hey three minutes in. And I'm sure it will get better soon enough.
THREE MINUTES LATER!
CHRIS: (Trying to find something he likes as they play the game more) Well uh let's see... I like your ball charge up here Sonic. It looks okay.
PALUTENA: (Sarcastically) Yeah you know it's nice. I mean they did that twenty years ago but
CHRIS: Oh come on Palutena don't be a hater. Be a... congraulater.
PALUTENA: Hmmm alright congraulations Sonic. You made a game where everyone presses buttons at a computer for awhile. And then a thing happened... and everyone hates it.
SONIC: Hey no one hates it!
PALUTENA: Why cause no one has it?
CHRIS: I'm sure all the Sonic fans do. They saw ads for it and like "a new start? Yeah this might end up being good."
PALUTENA: And then this happened.
THREE MINUTES LATER!
SONIC: (Sees the Sonic Boom group make their way to a temple with carvings on it) Oh look me and Tails are on the wall. That's a neat mystery right?
PALUTENA: (Laughing seeing the ancient door have a hand shape on it) Wow, it's perfectly cartoon gloved sized! Cleary an advanced ancient race we're dealing with.
CHRIS: (imitating Amy) Sonic don't touch that, it's hamburger helper's temple. (The two laugh at this some as in the game, the boom crew are surrounded by red robots).
PALUTENA: (Mock gasps) Oh no, more of those easily beatable enemies you mashed buttons at 5 minutes ago. Better get in the door.
CHRIS: (Sees Knuckles talk about wanting to punch things) Oh so he's upset because he wants to fight so goes and does that I guess.
PALUTENA: (Imitating Knuckles) Still have my lego shoes.
SONIC: Hey that means that everything is awesome right?
PALUTENA: Yes. (Blinks) We're talking awesomely hilarious bad about this game we're playing right? (Sonic groans some at this).
TWO MINUTES!
CHRIS: (Sees Boom Sonic press the hand button to open the temple as he imitates the hedgehog) Guys this way, where death is not!
PALUTENA: (Imitates Metal Sonic slowly walking to try and catch up with the others) Oh if only I could walk faster. Me a robot made for speeds equal to the fastest thing alive!
SONIC: Look I'm not going to let you just sit here and make fun of all the flaws of my game.
PALUTENA: Well what are you going to do about it then? Maybe perhaps make a better title.
SONIC: Well uh.... (speeds off).
PALUTENA: I'm sure the developers wish they could of done that after hearing all the bad press for this title.

AuraChannelerChris Sad thing is I could of done a lottttttttt more. Seriously you say 30 minutes and I only did about 12. There cold of been wayyyyyymore comments but eh even I noticed for just a reply it was getting long and figured you'd probably wind up getting bored if it was like becoming a story into itself.
I appreciate the effort, though.
