tyler langlois I don’t know what makes people think, that if a band is taking their time to write new music, they’re not around anymore. I’m pretty sure, bands that releases as much as possible in a short time, are not as successful as a band that “let their record mature“ for a while.
im fine with a band taking their time its just the lack of updates or social media posts in general that worries me about crooks. it seems like they were never great at social media in general so it might just be their style to not post anything until something is happening.
Maybe it's a marketing strategy to stay relevant. I mean, it's pretty contradictory, but look at all those bands that have daily updates. Most of the people don't care or don't even get to see them. It's good to see a good amount of demands on new music from Crooks though.
a couple of them released a Soundcloud sadboi rap song a couple of months ago and in the comments of that they say they're working on more music for that project and Crooks. (it's sullii - PALLETTOWN) I guess they were almost silent for two years before releasing AWATSDA and that's one of the best albums ever so I still have hope
So stoked for the upcoming album! You guys need to play way more shows in good old Germany this year! Keep doing what you're doing guys! Cheers for you!

My God. these guys are so fucking great as visual entertainers while they play- the constant energetic movement and shit. Like, even the drummer manages to catch your eye with how he plays. Watching them is like getting an improvised dance routine and musical set. amazing.
Came here to give them a listen as I’ll be seeing them with as it is later this year and I can definitely see me listening to them on repeat till then!!
That bass stands out so much in the mix but not so much to where it's invasive in the guitars. Such a great mix in a song. And a solid tune! Been listening to these guys since their first EP! Still a big fan! Can't wait for their new album!
