If you used different shocks on the quad-shock, like the red ones, it could provide a different result and maybe make the loop. Definitely wouldnt work for the infinite loop 😅
When you were making turbosling you used spring in series but that will reduce the total spring constant so total energy and impulse turned out to be very low.I suggest you to use all of the springs in paralel this way total energy would be (spring attached)^2 times energy in your version(energy would be that much if distance to the equalibrium point is same).(Sorry for my english btw)
I have a few half-baked ideas for this as my son loves hotwheels and lego/technic. For those on a budget, how about a motor driven pully system clamped to a desk that brings the car up the beginning of a gravity fed track?
I know this is an odd one...but... could you maybe make (using the cheapest readily buyable sets) make a camera rail, dolly thingy allowing for a dslr camera to pan across it, I.e catching all that budget film making market out there...and if you could and are using the motors and all...maybe also make it so it can be used as a programmable pull focus on a free standing camera...thus really hammering the useful would cost 1000's but with smart engineering and lego. bamm...just a thought and you'd have at least one avid viewer of the vid.😂
He's taking the speed and increasing it to scale of a full size car due the a hot wheels being 1/64 scale, if you had gone to school you would have understood this it's pretty simple.
@Spacebuddy-dm6ps well sorry but the scale part is relatively important if your saying it's not 200+ mph. everyone knows that there not going 200+ mph 🙄 your argument is so invalid it's crazy.. All he's doing is scaling the "real life car speed" down by 64 as its a 1/64th scale car.. if you don't understand this then you my friend need to got back to school and learn some very simple lessons 💯 %
Not sure what the term would be here but similar to the way linear induction is used in theme park rides for a fast launch, but with a succession of motors to add speed. Sorta like linear accelerator I guess? Depending on how much hot wheels track you have you could build a large angled ramp and see how high up you can send them.
A car with an working V8 or an easier engine like the inline 6. The car is powered by the engine and drives when you press the throttle. I mean an realistic car with an engine, transmission, brakes and more. It's hard to make but I think you can make it because of your skills 😊
it would be cool if you covered some ideas for boosters that push a car along when it passes through without motors! similar to the rubber-band powered gates they have in the hot wheels TB Lightning Speed Pack
Dude add the much stronger yellow shocks that push 500g each to the quadshock instead of the gray ones that push 100g each. Also, since when did hot wheels partner with LEGO.
Well I mean it kinda makes sense, a fly would have to move much faster to keep up with say an elephant moving at full speed. If something is smaller, it has to move faster to travel the same distance as something that’s bigger. So since these are hot wheels cars, they are really only moving at at most a hundred miles per hour, but if they were as big as a regular car or truck, they would be moving exponentially faster.
Master Dr. Engine, my 9-year-old watch your videos every single day and you have inspired him so much that he looks up to you as a hero. ❤ He built a booster today following this video and succeeded. Wish I could send you a video clip to show his work. ❤🎉 THANK YOU.
Thank you so much for the kind words! 😊 I'm really happy to hear that! If you’ve made a video, feel free to upload it to RUclips and share the link with me. I’d love to post it in the community tab! Wishing your son all the best on his engineering journey!
The problem with setup 2 is the gap between the shock bolt and the car. If the car had direct contact with the shock bolt, it would drive significantly further. It's correct with setup 3, but the shock absorbers are much too weak.
Working on new motorless Hot Wheels Boosters for the next video! Got any cool ideas? I’d love to hear them in the comments!
A swinging pendulum that will hit the car when you push iy
IMPOSSIBLE IDEA: make a piano where the harder you hit the keys the faster it goes>:)
If you used different shocks on the quad-shock, like the red ones, it could provide a different result and maybe make the loop. Definitely wouldnt work for the infinite loop 😅
The punch boost would be better if you had the rear of the car on the puncher because then it would have a build up of momentum and not a quick punch
THis guy has hotwheels and legos, he is living the dreammmm....
Nahhhh 1000mph? Bro broke the sound barrier x 100
17 mph real speed 6:07
This is so much fun! Great video!
Thank you 🤗
1000 mph for a life sized car is crazy
You're always so creative with your ideas. I'm always excited to see what you come up with next.

This is cool! I would like to know what equipment you are using to control your power functions motors with at 6:00?
Nice !!
The speed is like reading the fine print on the ad
But still *technically* correct
I'm so disappointed you didn't put more cars on that last track simultaneously :(
This is great keep up the good content❤
3:24. Beat That!!!🔥🔥🔥
You should try spring loaded wheels to accelerat the hot wheels, maybe that is more smooth and it will auto adjust to different cars
Satisfying
Awesome!
Glad you think so!
How many cars could you have running on that last loop track at the same time?
This is a very good question 😉
PF XL motors changed Hot Wheels to Hot Rockets :D
Bro builds a punch boost and proceeds not to punch it
Lego hire him already
Not first, but close ...
bro was trying to replicate lemans
More elastic bands.
The booster with one wheel was so fast that the car can’t handle it
Hot damn that thing broke the sound barrier lol (6:07)

A ton of energy is wasted in the impact, the turbo sling would be 2x more powerful if the cars were touching the sling since the beginning.
Agree! If the cars were in constant contact with the sling from the start, it could definitely increase the turbo sling's power.
hey guys
COOL 👍🏻👍🏻
What do you think if you add a jet engine???
Could you share the build instructions for this?
i love you
6:52 bro
we are calling you about your car's extended warranty…
the ev3 motors in first gearing you dont use max speed. you use half speed( probably
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
what g force will the driver experience in real cars

Why the squad is so long, make it shorter and it will go faster, so unfair
Nuh you never play hot wheels tracks?
I dont play much
But thats real

Why? You know its scaled right?

@Spacebuddy-dm6ps you have no idea, just go home your drunk

You have m/s and then convert it to mph instead of km/h🤦🏻
I still have a few ideas that are worthy of another video. Perhaps you also have tips, advice and ideas.
