Thanks for the review, Alex! One thing we've recently added to make 4-5 player games drag less is starting crew cards! This gives everyone an ability from the get go and means they have a head start on collecting the cards needed to end the game.
Thanks for the review ! I'll keep an eye on the campaign but Karma dice, a push your luck and dice pool building will be released in few days In France and might steal moonrakers' spot on my shelf 🤞
Hmm I’ve been playing final girl recently and learned that not only do dice hate me but are out to get me. So maybe not for me… However I do like how they changed to make a very similar game with dice chucking. Moon rollers may be a much faster version of moon rakers. With similar (not the same) game play, but ”changed enough” to incorporate the same theme while offering a refreshing tweak.
No exclusive game content this time? I might back this just to encourage this behavior. I really hate how they have literally kept some of the original moonrakers content kickstarter exlusive. And have been buying used copies of anything IV related to not support that shit. But this time all the exclusives are foil cards and non game content. And that is exactly what they need to do more.
Why are you acting like it's been a recurring problem with IV? They haven't had exclusive content (gameplay related) since their very first KickStarter, the first edition of Moonrakers. I don't have the micro-expansion either, which is the only item missing from being a complete collection of an outstanding game. It stinks, but it's not the end of the world. They have more respect from me for sticking to their word, despite the insanely high demand for reprints.
@@Wylie288 Please, give an example... I've backed all of their projects, except the first Moonrakers, and there has not been a single piece of gameplay expanding content locked behind campaign exclusivity since. Your last two sentences in the original post are what they have always done (beyond the very first, years ago). You've been raging against a machine that doesn't exist.
My copy arrived and I’m a bit disappointed in it. Very simple game that doesn’t provide much fun gameplay for an experienced gamer. Most likely an introduction game to non-gamers

Yes! I believe I mentioned those in the video at one point :)
@@BoardGameCo Nice-- that's what I get for listening :)

Reminds me of can’t stop. A game I absolutely love.
I talk about that in the recomendations :)

I love how im just now seeing this video and I can already read Alex's quotes on their page 😆
Lol yep
But why is it on backerkit...why?
Agreed. I want the game, but Backerkit is just so frustrating to use. I’m gonna have to wait till retail.
whats the issue with backerkit?@@Spiritoftheway333
This also shares some mechanics(ish) with Astra. At least to me.
I haven't played that one sadly. Always wanted to.

@@Ligght4647 This is the first non FOMO campaign they have done.

Is this game similar to dice throne
Not in my opinion
