The guy with the long hair at first seemed like he was gonna be a tyrant but turned out to be a decent chap and even talked us through the drone footage. Well done that man.
There is staff but they're probably on their stupid daily team bonding meetings. I never enjoyed having to "team bond" with jakey housing estate scum! Yes B&Q Darnley branch I'm talking about you! 😁👍
Turned out to be a good interaction and very interesting. Nice to see the security people actually more interested in what your doing and getting a good education on drones. Really liked this one!👍
What a great ending .... credit to them for listening and taking on board what is legal, they came round , and some interesting points like their recycling centre and wood chipper...great one DJ
"who are you" "what are you doing" were the first words out of the guys mouth, when asked who he was, he refused to talk. That would have been as far as it went with that guy i'm afraid. That would get my goat and my back up. Patience of a saint DJ.
If he would have carried on like that he would have been told to eff off , he was lucky the other guy was there , a creepy looking man appearing from nowhere and being weird would have had me clinching my fists ready to protect myself
Nice to see B&Q setting the standard for public photography interactions. I liked the how they were explaining about the plant and recycling, well done B&Q.
I quite liked the older guy with long hair, very amicable chap. Had some fair points, and seemed very interested and genuinely helpful once he established what was going on.
Ah but it was ‘a man with a camera’ , even the police will take loads of (our) time out for that 😢. Weird that they would ever dream of questioning a random person standing in public, but if they must be so impolite and obstructive, they were at least reasonably polite at the end . But still in the WRONG .
Dam i missed you , this is my place of work I'm one of the drivers. Brilliant video as always DJ The guys you met are all nice guys and I'm glad they was ok with you.
If any more people came out to see you, they wouldn't have to bother about anyone getting hurt on site because there wouldn't be anyone left on site! 😂😂
Excellent Audit Dj. Was a nice change to see the team taking a look and showing an interest of what was seen on the drone footage with some commentary. Nice friendly team once they listened to you and felt at ease. Your bike looked great on that pole against the building with its B&Q orange colour 👍
Gotta give the security guards one thing, after the first approach (especially of the 2nd individual arriving), they were listening and eager to learn, for a change. 🤪
@@777rogerf I think it's more a case of it not actually being their job but them assuming it is. The main issue (for me anyway) is the problem of the paranoia surrounding seeing someone with a camera. The drones are probably a bit of a different issue because people are unfamiliar with the legalities of their use.
Trailers won't move without susies airlines. So they have to connect them. Air brakes need air pressure to release them. Just fyi. But keep up the good work DJ 👏 👍
Nice group of men. They were really interested in the drone, hopefully they will take up the hobby, it's brilliant to see over places you wouldn't normally see by eye.
7:10 - Orange Vest appearing out of nowhere and then knowing how to banter back and forth with you without initially giving you any tangible answers is hilarious ... like the boys at Monty Python
Not true Mr Goose - we are in the top 10 manufacturers in the world. Also, its the people who buy the goods that dictate what we make, import and then buy.
@Culture Vulture Papi Travels Wasnt output last year closecto £200 billion kid? - so cemented in 9th place in the world - yet the UK is only the 21st most populated country... not bad son.
They made a fair point about distracting the drivers. I do feel sometimes you could be a little more reasonable. Even if your legally ok, and in the right, it would have been nothing to you to move a few metres.
Massive place that..didnt realise B+Q was so big. Great interactions with the staff there. Thought the first guy was rude at the beginning but he turned out to be a drone flyer himself. Found this one very educational again has you explained to everyone the drone laws etc. Well done DJ.
I’ve watched so many auditors and you are, by far, one of the best examples there is. So many other RUclipsrs look for confrontation, escalation and deliberately hide their intentions to provoke. You, on the other hand, have the knowledge and interpersonal skills to put people and situations to the test without the unnecessary entrapment. The result is that a natural situation develops, and it’s up to the people to choose how they respond. If they choose to engage with you, they’re rewarded with some real decent education that’s for the betterment of everyone. The general public who are unfamiliar with the aims of auditing can often get their backs up, which isn’t helped by auditors who are confrontational. You’re doing excellent work, holding people accountable, and providing a public service which will help everyone in the long run - even if they don’t realise it today. Well done and please continue in the manner you act. Very professional.
Great video! But I love about videos including audits is that the viewer gets to see things they may have never seen otherwise. Being in the US had no idea that this company even existed. It was cool to see their operation.
Great interaction, especially with the Mitie security man; they tend to employ people with lots of common sense, as shown here. I can understand people's concerns when you turn up as it's still quite a new pass-time/hobby & the more that do it, the less concerned folk will be.
12:00 he's worried that the staff may have an accident if they look up at the drone. How do they manage to live their life if they can't look up without falling over. Oh shit there's a plane, thump, oh no Johns on the floor again, someone phone for a straight jacket......Quick.
'DJ audits Drone information class' you should do this more often it's educational for the employees , rather than explaining yourself to everyone that crossses your path , introduce yourself and say gather anyone that has any concerns,, or questions about the drone , i will spend 5 minutes addressing the questions as long as im left alone to fly the Drone in complete safety .
The information provided by the employee during the drone flight was a welcome addition to your commentary. You usually have to guess a lot of the time, and are possibly wrong some of the time, so the inclusion of some inside knowledge was a nice change.
I'm at that point where I hit like before the intro has even finished 🤣 because I'm gonna like it. Never a boring video, especially when you are in Swindon. Great work DJ 🤜🤛
Well done dj for educateing them it's a shame more people don't take the time to be educated by you instead of giving it all the big I am! to yea my friend 👌
Security guards take note, coming out with a good attitude and a genuine interest gets your more information from members of the public than a entitled authoritative attitude ever will.
Brilliant, I sometimes fast forward the drone footage (sorry!!) but I saw that they were hanging around, and really hoped to get some commentary from your man there. I was not disappointed!
To be fair these guys were a credit to B&Q with how they questioned but then listened and finally interacted and were engaged to show off the site. Fair play to them :)
From 1 October 2012, it is a criminal offence to immobilise, move or restrict the movement of a vehicle without lawful authority. This means that clamping and towing are effectively outlawed, except by the police, local authorities, government agencies and bailiffs. The Act also makes it clear that lawful authority cannot be conferred by obtaining the vehicle owner’s consent. Therefore, parking notices warning that clamping and towing are in operation will not be effective after 1 October 2012. Landowners will also need to amend any car park signs or terms and conditions used on their property to reflect the changes
The guy with the long hair at first seemed like he was gonna be a tyrant but turned out to be a decent chap and even talked us through the drone footage. Well done that man.
It makes sense the B&Q staff all prefer to be outside as there is never anyone in their retail stores to assist you.
🤣🤣🤣
lol
There is staff but they're probably on their stupid daily team bonding meetings.
I never enjoyed having to "team bond" with jakey housing estate scum! Yes B&Q Darnley branch I'm talking about you! 😁👍
🤣🤣🤣
Never a truer word 😂
They seemed quite nice and reasonable. Seemed like they had a genuine interest in being educated, which is rare.
The first guy is not a nice guy he wants the mans name to report him to the police.
What pleasant chaps. The initial meeting was slightly strained, but they redeemed themselves nicely. Well done B & Q.
Turned out to be a good interaction and very interesting. Nice to see the security people actually more interested in what your doing and getting a good education on drones. Really liked this one!👍
Speaking of education, it's 'you're doing' not 'your doing'.
HTH
What a great ending .... credit to them for listening and taking on board what is legal, they came round , and some interesting points like their recycling centre and wood chipper...great one DJ
Props to the guy with the long hair, thought he was going to get pissed but actually turned into a good guy.
Nice the way the employee - whoever it was - helped to explain what was happening on site - nice to see friendly interaction - well done B&Q
Rarely i say this , but i thought the staff were excellent. Good guys. 👍
"who are you" "what are you doing" were the first words out of the guys mouth, when asked who he was, he refused to talk. That would have been as far as it went with that guy i'm afraid. That would get my goat and my back up. Patience of a saint DJ.

I quite liked the older guy with long hair, very amicable chap. Had some fair points, and seemed very interested and genuinely helpful once he established what was going on.
Rocky start. Ended with a nice bunch of people.
It must be great working at B&Q, you can stand around talking as long as you like and still get paid 😂
that's what i was thinking🤣
That's one of the perks of the job
just like the stores
And wear orange with long greasy hair🤔
Ah but it was ‘a man with a camera’ , even the police will take loads of (our) time out for that 😢.
Weird that they would ever dream of questioning a random person standing in public, but if they must be so impolite and obstructive, they were at least reasonably polite at the end .
But still in the WRONG .
That was a really good interaction, very refreshing. Great interaction. Thank you for sharing this video with us. I appreciate you 😊
Another superb example of intonation, pitch and delivery.
Respectful silence of the audience is a hard skill to hone.
Left dude was sound right dude was a quizzling
Love how the guy gave some commentary on what we were seeing . Wish more companies acted like that.
Wealdstone Raider has grown his hair.
It’s a shame all people you deal with don’t treat you the same as these guys well done b&q great vid as allways
They seemed like decent guys. The guy commentating clearly had a genuine interest in the company, credit to B&Q 👍
I think your transparency and clarity to those who treat you with respect and professionalism is top notch! great video pal.
Dam i missed you , this is my place of work I'm one of the drivers. Brilliant video as always DJ The guys you met are all nice guys and I'm glad they was ok with you.
Tell them that a man outside with a drone would never distract amazing drivers like you 🙌
Fair play, I thought they were going to make a scene but they understood.
I knew you were from Leicester as soon as you said “You frit me!” Good lad.
If any more people came out to see you, they wouldn't have to bother about anyone getting hurt on site because there wouldn't be anyone left on site! 😂😂
Hahaha 😝
Excellent Audit Dj. Was a nice change to see the team taking a look and showing an interest of what was seen on the drone footage with some commentary. Nice friendly team once they listened to you and felt at ease. Your bike looked great on that pole against the building with its B&Q orange colour 👍
Wow ....the attitude on the first man who came talking to you ...
I once quoted a customer a electrical external lighting job based on one of your videos i didn’t even need to go to site. Cheers mate
"its my job to be paranoid" , what a life!!!!!!!
What a thing to say about your job role…state of people in this country.
At the job interview, how do you prove you can be paranoid when required to be so?
Gotta give the security guards one thing, after the first approach (especially of the 2nd individual arriving), they were listening and eager to learn, for a change. 🤪
The two gentlemen were a credit to their companies.
It's amazing how many think they can just walk up to a member of the public and without introduction demand to know who you are and what you're doing.
It is their job, but they are not. trained on what to do is someone is video-recording. .We can't blame them for needing some education.
@@777rogerf I think it's more a case of it not actually being their job but them assuming it is. The main issue (for me anyway) is the problem of the paranoia surrounding seeing someone with a camera. These videos have really made me think about buying a drone
Good result ☘
That was a nice bit of camaraderie there DJ! xxxxx
Trailers won't move without susies airlines. So they have to connect them. Air brakes need air pressure to release them. Just fyi. But keep up the good work DJ 👏 👍

Omg I really enjoy these videos 🎉
There is no British industry any more... only 'distribution centres' for chinese made goods.
Thats not strictly true, the UK is the ninth largest manufacturing nation in the world.
BAE,JCB.
@Culture Vulture Papi Travels BAE,JCB.BP etc none of what remainers said happened and we got Vax and freedom 6mths before EU.
BLACK is recommended standard procedure for coupling and uncoupling HGV’s with trailers 👍
He wants to be your best friend your new drone buddy 😀
Ended up being a good interaction with the staff. Once the 4th man arrived, I thought the whole site was going to come out. Nice video DJ
They made a fair point about distracting the drivers. I do feel sometimes you could be a little more reasonable. Even if your legally ok, and in the right, it would have been nothing to you to move a few metres.
I like the way you handl them great 👍👍
Great guys - genuinely interested and you took time to explain - perfect
Massive place that..didnt realise B+Q was so big. Great interactions with the staff there. Thought the first guy was rude at the beginning but he turned out to be a drone flyer himself. Found this one very educational again has you explained to everyone the drone laws etc. Well done DJ.
I'd bet good money he was blagging. He didn't actually know anything at all.
They have 3 other sites bigger than those 2 plus 1 is automated and twice the size of those
Always good to see people interested in drones, and they were ok guys.
Great work DJ AUDITS - highest quality audits guaranteed.
Bizzy bodies who had'nae a bloody clue Great again DJ keep up the good work
How lovely to see you didn't get a bad interaction, which generally appears to be happening more times than NOT!
Decent B&Q team 😊... Sincerely interested in what you were doing 🙂🙂🙂 👍👍👍
Vigo the Carpathian as let himself go.
If you squint your eyes that building blends in with the sky

Good to see the Wealdstone Raider again sporting a high viz jacket at the 6mins 50 sec mark😂
Great video! But I love about videos including audits is that the viewer gets to see things they may have never seen otherwise. Being in the US had no idea that this company even existed. It was cool to see their operation.
Made me chuckle when you said, "two and half hours back to Leicester", and the chap looked at your bike and went, "what on that?!"
Haha.
The second guy, with the goatee, was one of the nicest people I think you've come across
Great interaction, especially with the Mitie security man; they tend to employ people with lots of common sense, as shown here.
I can understand people's concerns when you turn up as it's still quite a new pass-time/hobby & the more that do it, the less concerned folk will be.
I think it's the bosses who are the weirdos - I think AB did a video at their HQ didn't he???
12:00 he's worried that the staff may have an accident if they look up at the drone. How do they manage to live their life if they can't look up without falling over. Oh shit there's a plane, thump, oh no Johns on the floor again, someone phone for a straight jacket......Quick.
😮Well done. Keep on keeping on. Be safe. ❤
This was class DJ Audits 👍🏻🌟

That interaction ended well , decent blokes , well done B and Q 👍👍👍
Crackin’ film as always DJ.
Those lads seemed fine enough to deal with. I think they were genuinely interested.
Keep up your good work mate. 👍🏻
At least 1 will get one for Xmas 🤣👍
DJ, if you weren't as confident as you are, they would have tried to bully you.
What a nice bunch of blokes pity everybody wasn't like this well done b&q
Whoa!!! I almost posted something derogatory half way through but no…these people were ok. Well done for not over reacting they. See what I did there?
Beat me to it....I won’t bother now..
The information provided by the employee during the drone flight was a welcome addition to your commentary.
You usually have to guess a lot of the time, and are possibly wrong some of the time, so the inclusion of some inside knowledge was a nice change.
6:51 Obscure lookalike: Is that sax player John Helliwell out of Supertramp?
That haircut deserves its own video.
Sticking up for yourself Dj as always is a must ,the man with the long hair was on a mini power trip all turned out well in the end 😂👍
They all seemed like cool guys in the end. Another great video, thanks for sharing.
I actually value the drone flights with David, it's interesting to see what's happening in these companies.
See how quickly the first guy changed is attitude, what a jobsworth….great wrk dj
That's a lot of orange! Good to see them all listening though.
Loads of Orange. Good lads.
I'm at that point where I hit like before the intro has even finished 🤣 because I'm gonna like it. Never a boring video, especially when you are in Swindon. Great work DJ 🤜🤛
Sounds like a great idea ❤️
Well done dj for educateing them it's a shame more people don't take the time to be educated by you instead of giving it all the big I am! to yea my friend 👌
Awesome staff members. 😊
all seemed good no issues and every one fine
Great video. Nice to see David up on a windy day too 😀
fantastic drone is it easy to control
'Someone might look up and getdistracted'.
Well, that's on them lol
What jumped into my mind when he said that, was a bunch of local townspeople falling over backwards every time an aeroplane flew over.
I have a drone but I just can't fly it like you. Last flight involved me getting up on our barn to recover it from the roof.
Goatee mite man and his mate, have no SIA badge on display.
Best Auditor ever.....calm ..informed....reasonable...keep up the good work DJ !!!
. Seemed like they had a genuine interest in being educated, which is rare.

B&q buses watching your like for tangerine standing there
Having a great laugh go on learning the law the fourth tangerine Crewe
I work for B&Q its not great at all XD. So this brings me joy
Love how you handle yourself DJ well done sir
Where are you from Worzel Gummage? “Never you mind” that near Swindon?
Nicely done and spectacular in person audience on spot as well from B&Q. Another crowd educated 🤝
You did well there in finding someone British who works for Wincanton.

1st 😂😂😂, watching now 👍 it was a good interaction in the end but I didn't think it was going to be when the first man came over.
