I literally don't know how tion Wayne can get radio play but nito is hardly aired on radio, it's all down to radio who gets pushed, but I dont understand why it's specific and miss out man like nito nb and kilo jugg, rzo soze, man like these need more recognition facts.
quality rappers don't usually do 10 million views a video, with some exceptions; those are popstars like tion wayne, digga d or russ...even headie one with the last video did less than 1 milli, it's normal...i think the best rappers usually settle between 500k and 2 milli a video, which is still very good for a street rapper
I think it's partially to do with how you market yourself, public image etc. Also the content of your music and how it's delivered. People like Russ and tion Wayne's music work better as party tracks imo they're always on jump beats. Also they don't talk as much crud and when they do it's not as bait so it's more listenable for a general audience. Radio can't really play 'your man ain't shit' 'he's a bitch'. Same way radio isn't gonna play a song where the hooks saying 'free em' about gang members.
I have to disagree russ and digga d are good artist and made a wave with what they do, but they get involved in drama and talk about the same things the guys I mentioned do. I do admit nito compared to most is straight Drill but when certain man was doing straight drill they still got noticed, it comes like he's to proud to jump on the commercial ting or a melodic ting but mans like kilo jugg and rzo and soze have done radio worthy bangers, so the game is fix. cmon we hear from certain man who are average like aitch. radio djs are going to promote who they are supposed to ie Tiffany calver always promotes fredo and dave. it's a matter of what the Djs push, if the tunes hard it will be noticed. but if it dont get air Time on radio then its not going to be noticed as much is it.
