Neet exam could be conducted on line and the question paper could be uploaded remotely just 5 minutes before the time of exam. This could be done immediately instead of printing and supplying to schools. Exam dates could be different for different states and different sets of questions could be prepared. That is how SAT exams are conducted in USA and world wide these exams are conducted.

Don't ask silly questions just because you are the interviewer. It exposes your own knowledge.
Subjective answer pattern could be included. A common upgraded curriculum for medical courses could be introduced at the school level at all India level. This will eliminate the need for joining special coaching classes. Students from socially and economically backward homes will benefit from this system because many students are unable to pay very high fees for good coaching centres. If the curriculum is set in common, then students all over India will enjoy an equal opportunity. The present NEET examination is based mainly on CBSE syllabus and hence the advantage that CBSE school students enjoy could be eliminated. India no doubt needs a system that will benefit all students equally. The present system no doubt has some advantages but there are some disadvantages as well. So such negativity should be eliminated.
Nobody is stopping state to introduce CBSE standards. those are high standards. Why cannot each state introduce CBSE standards with good teachers?
Infact, entrance exams should be implemented for Engineering as well. without entrance exam, no good engineers are being produced. but sad thing is nobody knows what they are doing.
