- Aregger's 285 tonne Liebherr A-REX M9300. it's upper structure is based on a Liebherr R9150 and undercarriage a Liebherr R9200. Seen here working in Zurich, Switzerland

That thing is an absolute beast!
‘Beast’ is an astronomical understatement - that thing is a monster. I wonder how much fuel it uses, I’ve used machines one tenth the size that guzzled hundred of litres of diesel per day. Wow.
I would totally love to operate this excavator for a day and see just how good i could actually get. I've ran equipment for the past 35 years and enjoy seeing how proficient I can get.
There was a much “longer” Volvo unit used in my city a few years ago, but not this burly. The operator was truly outstanding!! Amazingly facile!!
Rachael was the company.
I had the best vantage point for most of my days of watching that I’ll probably ever experience!
Having said that, I would watch something like these machines pick up, sort, tear, rip, shear, etc virtually anything at any time!! I really enjoy this stuff!!
I've seen another video of a 9300 at work alongside a Komatsu 350.
The 9300 dwarfed the 350 and made it look like a 13 ton machine.
I wish my 600 komatsu had a tilt cab!!
I’ve seen this thing work before it’s pretty slick👍👍 that 360 head on there looks mighty handy👌
This is european style demolition. We have not enough room for explosive demolition. so these machines come in to do the job, nibbling down structures from the top down.
I have seen machines with a longer boom, extending upto 50 meters in lengths.
Definitely a big boy thanks for sharing guys 👍👍
Liebherr
Buen trabajo 👍 amigo,,⚒️
awesome video
So amazing machine.
Super cool
it was a very good video
Che bella macchina
That a thing of beauty , but what is the purpose of the additional linkage point between the mid boom and the dipper is it just to give an additional pivot point to give a optional range of motion ?
Availability to put on a longer boom I’d say??
Ja genau der Drehpunkt ändert sich dann und der Stiel geht dann noch weiter" raus"👍🏻
the graffiti is appropriate
He is a monster but he could put those two attachment few metars away because there is no space for moving around
Did you see the length of the boom on that thing? He doesn’t need to move with that kind of reach!
I assume the water man is keeping the dust down.
👌🏼 Awesome 👍🏻
I'm in love. . . . . . .
It's a Swiss🇨🇭 Company
Bigger bigger demolition Tool
Wow some machine!! Don’t know why it doing trivial/small jobs like this!!
That job isn‘t exactly small, it‘s an incinerator.
Reach!
perhaps 285,000 lbs. or 144. ton not 285,000 tonne that heavy of a machine would probably sink,..
According to the spec for the A-REX M9300. Each track unit alone is 10mtrs long, 2mtrs high and weigh 42 tons. Maximum operating weight is 300 tons depending on the equipment set up, boom and dipper configuration etc.
I cant believe you just said that this machine probably weighs 285,000lbs 😂 try 300 tonnes
I did not see it tear one damn thing down, all it did was move some trash!
can a demolition excavator be used as a regular excavator(for digging)
Just the attachment needed
Yes, they can swap the grab out for many attachments and have the option to use any of various size and shape buckets.
Waw
A machine that big reachin stuff a 330 could get…not very efficient or cost effective
Slow also
Was about to say the same. Somebody has more money than brains. Lol
@@merlinjust4753 Why would you expect a machine that weighs 300 tons to go really fast thats a danger risk.
👍🇹🇭❄
und fuer diese Arbeiten braucht man so ein Riesenteil????
Natürlich nicht. Dort wird eine Müllverbrennungsanlage abgerissen, aber wenn der Bagger schon dort ist kann man ihn auch mal zum sortieren benutzen.
Slome kraan
Child’s play. Get a Hitachi EX 8000 in there and that whole Bldg will be leveled in one shift.
There's always one......
Keep quiet
Too Heavy
How boring is that.
How to burn hundreds of Euros of fuel while accomplishing very little!
Моладес
It's too big for the job.
Any job.
I mean... this could all be done much faster.... and we all know how.... with a bomb
First 💘
BORING AND SLOW
You cant expect a machine that massive to move really fast, because of the danger risks.
Seriously !!?? Even a small little tractor, or backhoe with a bucket could've scooped, or pushed all that crap out in a quarter of the time... Nothing amazing here at all, except a painfully slow process, and a big excavator, with way too small grippers to effectively grab a big load each time... it's like watching an adult man with hands the size of a newborn baby, trying to pick up things...
You must be the expert…🧐
@@Sibbe2560 Nah. Just stating the obvious.
@@DT-ge8gd The obvious? Lol my guy
So you think you could do better? This machine and operator are far more unteligent then you Mr I want to be a miserable trolling old fart😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
How do they even get this thing to the site?
In parts...
They transport it in peaces beacuse it is really big to transport in one peice.
