Stephanie, have you thought about cooking for the poor?? It would be so cool if you travel to a underprivileged country and do a mukbang with the community or village. What do you think?
I listened to a story of a man who was in charge of some type of operation on the ship, but before the Titanic set sail he was let go and told to take all his belongings off the ship. When he got home, and went through his things, he discovered he took the keys to a certain cabinet. He thought oh well, I’ll let them know I have it when they get to New York. It turns out the cabinet he had the keys to held the binoculars that the lookouts were supposed to use. The Titanic was doomed from the start.
@@kanijalashay5178 It's sad because can we really blame him? He probably thought it wasn't that important. And why wouldn't they break the cabinet and fix it later?
Why would they not check that they had binoculars? Isn’t that their job. Also why are they keeping all their binoculars for the whole ship in only one cabinet ?

They apparently did a ton of research to make the movie as historically accurate as possible aside from the love story, within budget, and with some dramaticism. But you'd be surprised to learn how much of the sinking scenes were based on accounts from people who survived. Like, the scene where the lifeboat is being lowered on top of another one and they're trying desperately to cut the ropes. That actually happened

There has always been so many conspiracy and lies about the ship. There is one lady, Eva Hart, who survived the shipwreck when she was about 11 (I think), she remembers her mom telling her dad that she didn’t feel comfortable getting on the ship because of the fact they called it “the unsinkable ship”. Her mother told her father that them saying that was like flying in the face of god. Her mom stayed up during the night and sleep during the day because she didn’t feel comfortable.
Yes and because of this she was one of the first people to get up on deck because she was awake when the boat hit the iceberg and felt it. Their father died but she and her mother survived

Hi stephanie, I usually don’t ask for true crime cases but I think that if you brought light to this situation it may help a bit. I live in Mexico and in early april an 18 year old girl named Debanhi Escobar went missing after a party in Monterrey, Nuevo León, México and the last time she was seen was around 5-6 am when she called an uber and was waiting at Laredo’s Highway. On april 22th a body was found in a cistern in a near motel. The authorities already confirmed it’s her corpse and ruled it an accident, they just brushed it off saying that instead of waiting for her Uber she decided to go around the motel, climbed through the fence of the hotel and fell into the cistern. Nobody believes it’s true. The police also found 6 other bodies of missing women while looking for Debanhi’s so people are very suspicious about the whole situation. Please if you see this, consider covering the case on a youtube video or smt, I know you don’t like talking about recent cases but this is such a huge case in México right know and we just want people to learn about it, to spread the word and hopefully make authorities look deeper into the situation. There’s people calling it a Paulette 2.0. Bcs there’s no way they took this long to find her even though she was like right in the middle of where they were searching. If you see this please let me know if you’d like for me to translate any articles I’ll be glad to do it, Spanish is my first language and I just want to help spread the word. I love your videos so much and I think you’re truly making a difference even if you think it’s a small one. Thanks for letting victims speak through your voice ❤️❤️❤️ UPDATES: So she was a law student and went to a party with 2 of her "friends", well those 2 "friends" later abandoned Debahni in the middle of a dangerous street late at night and called an off dutty Uber to come pick her up. Allegedly the uber driver ab*sed her on the ride which made Debahni get off the car in front of the motel. Those 2 girls just went on national tv to rid themselves of any guilt and I believe they also started talking stuff about Debahni which is ridiculous, sure, speak about the victim who's no longer here to defend herself. and also, I forgot a few details: the district attorney's office made a statement where they said basically that: 1) Debahni couldn't have suffered any ab*se bcs it was never reported to the police and bcs there's no video that proves it -which to my knowledge is total bs because there is an actual video where someone is allegedly ab*sing Debahni. And 2) that she fell on the cistern by herself and was alive while doing so, which is also a blatant lie bcs there was no water found on her lungs so how do you explain that? Lastly, the motel was searched FOUR TIMES before they found her. That's so suspicious, how could they not find her if she "was there the whole time"? That's the end for now, I'll update if I learn anything else, please talk about the situation Stephanie, Debahni's case could really use your help
The Titanic story is more horrifying than I thought... I'm so impressed that she managed to survive all that, still worked as a Stewardess, and actually die at an old age.
what's crazy about violet is that she worked on the third ship and when it hit a mine in the sea, started going down and the captain, known as 'iceberg charlie' (for his ability to steer around icebergs), thought that revving the engine would help BUT emergency boats were already in the water. subsequently, a bunch of them got sucked under and chopped up, by the propellers INCLUDING violet, but she chose to jump last second. she got sucked under still (unlike what stephanie said), she bonked her head on one of the blades and then popped back up away from the ship...
I can tell you that guy said "not even God can sink this ship" I wouldve ran off that ship so fast been like dont care if i get a refund or not at that point.
@@thehyenamakeupslayer3819the fact that the iceberg was just floating for 2 years to the exact point where the titanic would be is very much proof that it’s from God
There were pets aboard the Titanic when it sunk. Of the 1 cat, couple birds, and 12 dogs, only 3 dogs survived :(( two Pomeranians and a Pekingese. But there could have been more pets aboard than were identified, as most pets stayed inside the kennels but were let loose as the ship sank. Another sad fact is that one lady refused to leave the ship w/o her Great Dane, and their bodies were later found floating together… 🥺
At this point every time I watch Stephanie I always yell out the Introduction with them even if it’s 2am 😭 I love your channel and your family, hope y ou guys are all doing okay!
I think it's incredible that 13 years earlier a novel called "The Wreck of the Titan" was published about a ocean ship called Titan and it's sinking in the Atlantic after hitting an iceberg, it was fiction
Soooo many factors could’ve prevented the titanic from sinking. Every video I wish for comments to take the case seriously but a majority only seem to try and get a like from Stephanie 😫. I get they’re trying to support her but I would love to see more comments actually care about the case
It has improved quite a lot actually, especially when the cases are that serious. Otherwise it used to be so hard to find comments about the actual case
Once i saw a comment related to the titanic not in this comment section but in some other video Her grandmother always told this story, how her own grandfather missed his ship, because her mother had nightmares of him drowning, and she didn’t let go of him, begging him to stay at home. Years later, she found out that he was planning to travel from Queenstown to New York. It was 11 April 1912 and the ship he missed would have been the Titanic.
From my understanding (and I am in no way an expert, I used to own a book of the film's production), the set of the ship itself was pretty accurate as the film crew gained access to the original blueprints of the actual ship along with photographs of the inside of the ship and plans from the ship's builders :3 The band who play as the ship is sinking was also a true event that actually happened.
I have always been sooo fascinated about everything Titanic related. Been watching a lot of documentaries, articles, theories about these sister ships. Ngl, I love that, FINALLY, you're talking about it! This is going to be sooo good!
@@tink6225 Same! Like everytime I even hear the word "Titanic", I just automatically go to youtube and watch anything related to it ESPECIALLY theories!
when you mentioned how they focused on making the ship more grand and not considering its safety, it reminded me of the manila film center. its a very heartbreaking incident and a very controversial topic to discuss considering its political affiliation, but its something more people must see and hear. anw, i always love seeing your videos and seeing you eat so well 🖤
they did focus on the safety. The safety regulations of the time were: If a ship is larger than 10,000 GRT, then it has to carry 16 or more lifeboats and collapsible boats. But those laws were VERY outdated, and since Titanic was about 46,000 GRT, they only had to put 16 lifeboats (4 collapsibles) on her.
Stephanie will always crack me tf up “oh the ship is sinking okay everybody blow on a corner” 😂 her comedic timing always helps especially during the super gory cases. For the titanic though, i think all three ships sunk because all three ships were just made so incorrectly. Just so wrong, not superstition just superstupid people.
They weren't made wrong, they just were made in a way that to sink would be almost impossible due to the water tight compartments. They couldn't think of a situation where 4 of the compartments would get damaged enough to let in water.
Stephanie's story telling is just simply so beautiful i can picture every single thing as if i were actually there (i have problems with picturing things in my head)
I read somewhere that there was a fire during the construction of the ship. It was allegedly on the side where it collided with the iceberg. The fire made the metal much weaker, so it was much more sensitive. If this fire hadn’t happened, the damage would have been way less.
even though there was a fire burning inside of the Coal Bunker 2, it was only a small fire, so small none of the shipbuilders even noticed it. Also, Iron is a strong material, and can withstand pretty high temps. and the fire occurred underneath the 2nd funnel, which the Iceberg didn't even get CLOSE to scraping across.
I am really not easy in crying especially not when i hear a story online but i really don’t know why every word you say about the titanic is giving me chills and tears in the eyes….
I feel like it's really doomed from the start, ever since what they did with olympic. And them not even bothering to get the binoculars, when in fact that thing is one of the important thing you need when inside cruise ship. Rest in peace to the victims. Hopefully this kind of tragedy will not happen again.
The poop deck was the place where upper class dogs were walked for their daily needs. Every English family had at least 4 dogs each, mostly because haunting foxes was a sport and a pleasure for their fur.
The name originates from the French word for stern, la poupe, from Latin puppis. Thus the poop deck is technically a stern deck, which in sailing ships was usually elevated as the roof of the stern or "after" cabin, also known as the "poop cabin".
I’ve been to the titanic museum in Belfast and it was crazy to see how small the 3rd class rooms actually were! And there was a room with all of the names of the people who lost their lives and an instrumental version of my heart will go on was playing and everyone was crying so that was a lot
You don't know it but you actually have a non legally adopted little brother. I've spent so much time watching or listening to that you feel like a real friend to me. Thank you for keeping me company and cheering me up when I'm down
I heard something from an article that before the titanic departed there was massive fire in the coal rooms but ofc they departed anyway, which made that part of the ship easier to break and that was where the ice berg hit.
Daamn, omg, i searched what "Working Cape Race" means and Philip basically told them he was trying to reach land (a.k.a. Cape Race) since the guy screamed they probably turned off the signal to not disturb their communication, they probably couldn't turn it back on because if they tried communication they could get in the way the Titanic's signal to land
I heard other things about The Titanic really being The Olympic. And the ship was not capable of making the trip but decided to let the ship go anyway to collect insurance. Also how the owner decided not to get on the ship the day of take off claiming to be sick…. But people claim of seeing him like a day later out and about. You should look into this! Titanic pt.2??
I’ve heard the exact same thing, that the insurance for the titanic was way more than the Olympic. So they traded boats and sailed the Olympic as the Titanic. I was hoping she would bring this up.
@@faekapira lol this theory is so frustrating.. didn’t they finally go down and get close enough to the haul to totally debunk it recently. (With clear enough views) the cameras they sent down more recent can stay down soo much longer and can get in much tighter spots.

There’s a book called Luck of the Titanic by Stacey Lee that’s a historical fiction book that talks a lot about the Chinese people who were aboard the titanic and their experiences. It was a really beautiful and tragic story and I highly recommend it! ❤️❤️❤️
Like the movies Titanic or Pearl Harbor. The events actually occurred, but the author takes liberties on creating characters and creating a dynamic story will using the actual event as the setting.

I learned about materials structure last semester. So when metals contact with heat/cold water the structure of the metal will change. Since the titanic was in a cold water, the metal become brittle which can be easy to break if it were to impact something such as iceberg.

this is actually my first time hearing the whole story of titanic, and what i have to say is that, even tho the ship wasnt built with much safety precautions in the first place, its really just a series of unfortunate events that led to the disaster and its so sad. rip to all the ones that passed
Hey Stephanie, i love this episode about the Titanic. I hope you can also talk about another ocean tragedy, the Deep Water Horizon, an oil rig explosion that happened in the Mexican Gulf in 2010. I heard a story from a guy that one of his ancestors helped build the titanic and were able to get a piece of iron from the ship after it sunk. They realized that the iron they received was not the iron they had used to build the titanic and thats where the thought of the ships being switched out happened.
I heard that 14 years before the titanic was even sailed and man predicted how out of 2200 people 1500 of them would die. I’m not sure how much of this is true but if you could, please do a story about the man who predicted the unfortunate events that was to come ❤
1.) You missed a very important thing. The Hawk was a warship with sharp knife-like objects at its sides right below the water. The R.M.S Olympic got the gash because the spears went into the double-hull. 2.) About the Californian communicating through the Wire-Less Telegraph is a little off-facts. The reason the operator yelled was because his headphones were turned up to the max to hear messages from nearest land. So with the Californian close, the message would be very loud like a motorcycle revving in front of your ear. 3.) Another thing about the binoculars. They did not loose the key, the 2nd officer was changed 24 hours before sail. The officer was so stressed he forgot to give the keys to the new officer. They were then sold in about 30-50 years for huge amounts of money. The crew also tried opening the binocular closet but they could not because of how tightly it was sealed. 4.) When the California saw the lights from the R.M.S Titanic they thought everything was okay because the lights were white. White is a celebration colour. For some reason they loaded white and not red. So when the flares went off, celebration colours and not emergency colours were seen.
I’ve always felt so eerily connected to the Titanic, and I’ve always been weirdly super interested it when I was little. Like freaking six year old me asking why so many people had to die kinda thing. I WAS SIX. It was freaking 2008. I had no business being that invested in it.. but here I am, 20 and still connected. It’s so weird
Same, but with 4 years old in 1999. I used to watch the movie every single day after kindergarden. I was so obsessed that my parents got me a toy of the Titanic, it was a little plastic ship lol. Until this day i'm still obsessed, but when I see stuff about it I feel oddly anxious, sad, my throat in a knot, and burst into tears. Maybe we're are reincarneted Survivors.
We learned about Molly Brown (aka The Unsinkable Molly Brown, a name given to her after her death) in history class. She did so much for women's and worker's rights and was an incredible woman. In the movie, I loved the way Kathy Bates played her. She did a great job portraying that spirit and passion Molly was known for.
O what a coincidence! I just rewatched Titanic yesterday because I thought I haven't understand the whole movie the last time I saw it because I was just a kid back then. And I can't find a word to express how disappointing and saddening it was. What a tragedy! The silence of death few minutes after the ship sank was also portrayed there, and it was so disturbing... horrible

I think one of the scariest things is how dark it must have been at night , im sure the moon was out but still, that far in the ocean at night has to be dark as fuck. Like imagine swimming for your life in the dark night in a deep ocean
One of the reasons I have seen in documentaries for the Calfornia not coming to help was because in the still water the lights from the ship were reflecting and they couldn't tell that Titanic was sinking until it was too late

I've watched so many videos, read so many books, as well as my younger brother also having a obsession with the Titanic, and I never knew the two other boats had an incident, nor about Violet somehow. I feel so bad for her too,, like jeez.. Especially just seeing severed heads floating in the water, even if that was the other boat.. Just seeing people die, like that.. Multiple times makes my heartache, it always has..
You know, when everyone thinks of the Titanic grand staircase, they always think that the one in the movie was like a true replica of the real thing, but no. The real grand staircase was a thousand times more magnificent than the one in the movie. There was a camera that was brought up from the Titanic and it still had viable photographs on it. One of them was of the true grand staircase, and it is a sight to behold!

I remember in year 8 or 9, English literature class, we learnt a lot about the titanic, idk why, I don’t remember, I think it was to analyse all the different literature pieces that were written about it. We even watched a movie (not the one you’re thinking of, too risky for a bunch of year 8s) which was a lot more historically accurate. Can’t believe they wrote about the titanic in newspapers like “even God can’t sink it” boyyyy you’re just asking for it ✋

The poop deck is usually in the back because that's where the seagulls hang out behind the boat and people like to feed them. Actual definition-> a poop deck is a deck that forms the roof of a cabin built in the rear, or "aft", part of the superstructure of a ship.

Thanks for letting victims speak through your voice ❤️❤️❤️
UPDATES: So she was a law student and went to a party with 2 of her "friends", well those 2 "friends" later abandoned Debahni in the middle of a dangerous street late at night and called an off dutty Uber to come pick her up.
The whole thing with that “Jaguar” guy and the friends is so sus as well
I hope steph sees this !!!

As a Mexican women, I can say that women are not protected there.
The Titanic story is more horrifying than I thought... I'm so impressed that she managed to survive all that, still worked as a Stewardess, and actually die at an old age.
Maybe Violet was sinking the ships 😮🤔
oh she was God's fav
She had a death wish but kept failing
what's crazy about violet is that she worked on the third ship and when it hit a mine in the sea, started going down and the captain, known as 'iceberg charlie' (for his ability to steer around icebergs), thought that revving the engine would help BUT emergency boats were already in the water. subsequently, a bunch of them got sucked under and chopped up, by the propellers INCLUDING violet, but she chose to jump last second. she got sucked under still (unlike what stephanie said), she bonked her head on one of the blades and then popped back up away from the ship...

I can tell you that guy said "not even God can sink this ship" I wouldve ran off that ship so fast been like dont care if i get a refund or not at that point.
💯
Right! Cuz was that a challenge or what!?!
@@thehyenamakeupslayer3819the fact that the iceberg was just floating for 2 years to the exact point where the titanic would be is very much proof that it’s from God
I'm not religious but even I would have run like hell, like you're just tempting all types of fate and manner of gods
That's so true.
Another sad fact is that one lady refused to leave the ship w/o her Great Dane, and their bodies were later found floating together… 🥺
this gives the same vibes as the old couple in the movie that kissed and tucked themselves in when it was sinking😭😭😭

I think it's incredible that 13 years earlier a novel called "The Wreck of the Titan" was published about a ocean ship called Titan and it's sinking in the Atlantic after hitting an iceberg, it was fiction
Wot really??
Soooo many factors could’ve prevented the titanic from sinking. Every video I wish for comments to take the case seriously but a majority only seem to try and get a like from Stephanie 😫. I get they’re trying to support her but I would love to see more comments actually care about the case
for real
I scroll for so long looking for comments to talk with about the actual video
Hey! I am late to the video so now I am seeing comments that are about Titanic now.
Check the comments now, they’re giving more insight now (:
It has improved quite a lot actually, especially when the cases are that serious. Otherwise it used to be so hard to find comments about the actual case
Once i saw a comment related to the titanic not in this comment section but in some other video
Her grandmother always told this story, how her own grandfather missed his ship, because her mother had nightmares of him drowning, and she didn’t let go of him, begging him to stay at home.
Years later, she found out that he was planning to travel from Queenstown to New York. It was 11 April 1912 and the ship he missed would have been the Titanic.
From my understanding (and I am in no way an expert, I used to own a book of the film's production), the set of the ship itself was pretty accurate as the film crew gained access to the original blueprints of the actual ship along with photographs of the inside of the ship and plans from the ship's builders :3 The band who play as the ship is sinking was also a true event that actually happened.
there was some accuracy and there were also a miss in their research that they have to revisit the site again hundred years later
For those who need it the actual story starts at 5:11
Thank you!!!
SAVING LIFES!

I have always been sooo fascinated about everything Titanic related. Been watching a lot of documentaries, articles, theories about these sister ships. Ngl, I love that, FINALLY, you're talking about it! This is going to be sooo good!
it's always been my favorite compact/mystery. I have a lot of emotion attached to it idk why
Just so wrong, not superstition just superstupid people.
the superstition superstupid comment is KILLINGGG me
They weren't made wrong, they just were made in a way that to sink would be almost impossible due to the water tight compartments.
I heard that too! Apperently they ignored the fire or something?
its never on accident. no mass deaths anywhere are on accident. you can even trace some 'natural' disasters to man made "mistakes" and "oversights"
even though there was a fire burning inside of the Coal Bunker 2, it was only a small fire, so small none of the shipbuilders even noticed it.
Past life?

I feel like it's really doomed from the start, ever since what they did with olympic. And them not even bothering to get the binoculars, when in fact that thing is one of the important thing you need when inside cruise ship. Rest in peace to the victims. Hopefully this kind of tragedy will not happen again.
Of course not, its 2022. I'm 47 and have taken 17 cruises in my lifetime from 3-7 days. It's the best vacation too me.
@@lady4real75 it can still happen, yes it's 2022 but it's alot of irresponsible people that will ignore red flags like they did with the titanic.
@@lady4real75It's happened in recent years. That big ferry in Korea with hundreds of young students who died.
The poop deck was the place where upper class dogs were walked for their daily needs. Every English family had at least 4 dogs each, mostly because haunting foxes was a sport and a pleasure for their fur.
The name originates from the French word for stern, la poupe, from Latin puppis. Thus the poop deck is technically a stern deck, which in sailing ships was usually elevated as the roof of the stern or "after" cabin, also known as the "poop cabin".
haunting foxes 👻👻
@@jazzmyyneeromo9385 Please don’t mention this stupid theory. It’s been debunked so many times.
@@faekapira lol this theory is so frustrating.. didn’t they finally go down and get close enough to the haul to totally debunk it recently. (With clear enough views) the cameras they sent down more recent can stay down soo much longer and can get in much tighter spots.

I read about that. Some really rich and important people were on the ship
There is literally no such thing as coincidence….everything happens for a reason. Everything.
Some people say it was planned actually 🤷♀️
People who were against reserve banks were on it.

The titanic is one of my favorite historical disasters lol it sounds bad but it's so interesting
I learned about materials structure last semester. So when metals contact with heat/cold water the structure of the metal will change. Since the titanic was in a cold water, the metal become brittle which can be easy to break if it were to impact something such as iceberg.

I heard a story from a guy that one of his ancestors helped build the titanic and were able to get a piece of iron from the ship after it sunk. They realized that the iron they received was not the iron they had used to build the titanic and thats where the thought of the ships being switched out happened.

Stephanie’s videos are the best part of my day !

O what a coincidence! I just rewatched Titanic yesterday because I thought I haven't understand the whole movie the last time I saw it because I was just a kid back then. And I can't find a word to express how disappointing and saddening it was. What a tragedy! The silence of death few minutes after the ship sank was also portrayed there, and it was so disturbing... horrible

the movie was actually extremely close to the real thing. supposedly the only thing added in was that of jack and Rose.
It was called the ''poop deck'' because that's where 1st class passengers would bring their doggos to crap :)

The poop deck is usually in the back because that's where the seagulls hang out behind the boat and people like to feed them. Actual definition-> a poop deck is a deck that forms the roof of a cabin built in the rear, or "aft", part of the superstructure of a ship.
OMG fun fact.... so some dudes got together and experimented if jack could have actually gotten on that board with rose... but apparently they concluded that scientifically only one person could be on it and survive.
