That's what's so great about Iloilo and Guimaras as a double destination. You get a charming, historic city with all the modern conveniences and a rugged, sleepy island paradise just 15 minutes away from each other.
The mangoes are wrapped when they are still small in glossy papers so that bugs will not be able to penetrate the fruits, hence, resulting in an unblemished mango, which can ultimately command premium price.
FYI zambales mangoes the so called "Sweet Elena" were declared by the Guinness book of records to be the sweetest mango in the world. Not the guimaras mango
I think guimaras is underrated is because the pier is not well developed . If this is well develop and renovated , this will produce more of an income generating in Iloilo's tourism ..theres so many undiscovered besutiful places to see in this island i guess.. Hopefully if somebody can tell the mayor of iloilo about this .....just saying !!!!
My father was from Guimaras Island. I was born in Iloilo but grew up here in Manila. Anyways, mangoes in Guimaras are basically exported outside the island but forbid other mangoes from outside coming in to the island to avoid mixing of other types to their very high quality of mangoes.

You both looked like you were having such a great time. Thanks for introducing Tatlong Pulo to us. We may just find our way there too. Having that beautiful white sand beach to yourselves was special indeed!!!!
Hi guys thank you so much for coming here, hope to see you again someday, and I'm gonna tour you again in some beautiful places here,it's me your tricycle driver going to tatlong pulo, take care always..
I'm one of the locals from Guimaras and if you ever want to explore the Island again, I would suggest going to the beaches called Lawi and Casita, these places are rarely visited by tourists so it gives you a lot more privacy---aside from these suggestions, researching for your own knowledge is very much encourage. Thank you for visiting our little Island, I hope you enjoyed! P.S. For people wanting to experience Manggahan Festival (Mango Festival) it is annually held during May 15-22.
There is a bridge to be constructed from Ilo Ilo to Guimaras and Guimaras to Negros Oriental.. This is one of the best videos of your channel. Love your Ilo Ilo adventure
Been binge watching your old videos for hours. I feel nostalgic watching them. You may be in a different country right now and I feel a bit emotional thinking that but I want to say I miss you already and I hope you could come back again here in the future. I'd like to think you fell in love with our country and I'm so happy you embraced our culture. Take care we love you Matt and Molly

I am from Iloilo and I've been following your channel for a while now. Can't believe i get to see a vlog of you guys exploring our city! Hope you enjoy and never forget the City if Love
1:00 it is called PAROLA, you missed the other pier in ORTIZ, it is much cheaper there but as you said you went to JORDAN so that's the port the main pier.
wow..thank you so much beautiful couple for your vlogs traveling here in any point of phil..to share the beauty and cultures of phil..with vlogging..ihope you enjoy it guys..stay safe and healthy...GOD BLESS U..
In Tatlong Pulo, you can borrow a kayak to go to the island…we do cliff-jump behind that rock island. And if you go around the right side of the beach, there’s a yacht builder there. Private tho.
Totally appreciate the bits of trivia and travel info along the way. The drone shots, transitions and over all editing just keeps getting better and better. Hope to see more 😀
Definitely the best mango there is! And another best thing, you even visited a great beach spot there that even locals don't know nor not ever been to! Hands down to you both! You're the best couple vlogger! Keep exploring our beloved Philippines!
Tatlong pulo has an awesome coral reefs and fishes. When its lowtide you can walk it through the other island.. That was an awesome trip but short. There are still a lot to explore in Guimaras, plenty of islands and they even have a Trappist Monastery where you see monks planting vegetables. Keep safe guys. I hope you visit again western Visayas. Try next time Antique
So much fun watching both of you visiting Iloilo and Guimaras Island. Great places to feed yourself with everything mango. Lol! Btw Matt, that was a great idea to put hot sauce on your mango pizza. It's like putting a touch of Mexican vibe in your dish. I was hoping you'd do that. Lol! See you soon! 😎👍
Ive been there a few years ago and Ive never heard of that beach! You go, Matt and Molly! I heard the soil is different there. It wasnt that developed yet years ago but I think that's the charm of Guimaras.
Yes. The soul there is different. It doesn't stick to your shoes, so that your shoes comes out still clean and free of mud, because the soil is actually minute pulverized gravel mixed with soil. The heat of this mix is what creates a very sweet variety of mangoes , the sweetest in the world. Iloilo and Guimaras mangoes are the sweetest in the world.
Great video. I love that you found a quiet little corner of beach and I love mangos. You guys always find those unique lesser known places that are worth visiting. Thank you for the video.
I am from Iloilo city currently living in London for me no other mango sweeter than Guimaras and taste differs from other part of the Phil but over all Philippines has its best mangoes in the whole world❤️👍
Thanks for sharing. Truly a hidden paradise. Up and go added to my bucket list on my next visit to the Philippines. Once again thanks so much for sharing
Guimaras Island used to be part of the Iloilo Province but they separated years ago. The shrimps in the beach there if you find one is red in color. There is a Trapist Monk Monastery there too.
watch this beach become popular nooo ahaha. But I did see this beach online when searching around and always wanted to go so ahaha but truly is beautiful and surprised you went to iloilo/guimaras sooo underated ahaha can't wait to go back :( ahh
Thanks for visiting our Province Guimaras💕💕💕.Mangoes on trees are wrapped to protect from any insects or damage 'til its ready to harvest🙂.Enjoy your trip🙏❤
I totally agree... and it's not because I am biased because I am from the Philippines but I have tried mangoes from South Africa, India, China, Malaysia, Thailand, you name it, the sweetest and juiciest I've ever had was from Guimaras. I used to bring some for my South African friend and she told me she literally had to eat on her kitchen sink because it was so juicy. She had to fight with her brother over the last piece too! Mangoes made me think of her.
That's definitely another beautiful beach discovery and a lot of people didn't even know that there is stunning beach right there. A hidden gem for every people who was in fond of going to the beach to spent some time and enjoy. It really looks paradise but a lot of people still unaware that there is a beach a must see and visit to enjoy. If i'm there i spent going to that beach every weekend for the water was so clear but there's nobody's around swimming just you.
My neighbour (I live in Hua Hin in Thailand) covers his mangoes in paper bags. It protects them from ants, so that might be why they do it in the Philippine’s as well
Protection from insects and to keep them clean/prevent stains from the mango sap. Mangoes have to be flawless to meet quality standard for export and some markets.
Long long time ago they use old newspaper ( 50 years ago) to make paper bags to cover the fruit from insects. Later plantations started using commercial paper bags for convenience.
Thanks Dabble for coming to our island. Glad you enjoyed the crazy mango pizza. Wish I knew you were here, would have treat you to a double beef burger with tamatos lettuce onion pickle and of course a big slice of mango.

So true!
Totally agree with you,, i think we shojuld spread words to promote this island ..there are so many hidden undiscovered beaches in guimaras.

Guimaras is under rated. Its beauty is beyond description. What makes it more unique is its world famous mango. Be safe always. Cheers.
It’s so underrated!

Underrated because Boracay Beach, El Nido Palawan, Coron Island, Hundred Island in Pangasinan, & Baguio are most reccomended destinations for tourist.
