It hurt my soul a little that all my pics didn't turn out. There are a few other houses like this around here that I really want to vlog. Fingers crossed!
Awesome pictures, love the detail of the moulding, love that big old headboard, and of course, you did an amazing job of giving us the tour. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Nathan! Cassius was a wild man, I just couldn't do a video on him that would do him justice. One time, when he was running for office someone tried to shoot him. Cassius took his fun from him, pulled his knife, cut off the man's nose and poked an eye out.
I might do a vid about some of the spookies at White Hall. In our group, three people were touched (two at the same time on their legs and the other felt something push the back of her head). I used to be a newspaper reporter, and I interviewed several employees out there about their experiences.... and there were lots! Hope you have a great Fourth of July!
I'll have to do a video about the "Transylvania" stuff here. There's so much more history to this house that it would take a two-hour video to cover it all. (Popeye is in trouble right now, but I'll tell him when he's allowed out of the corner.)
Lot of good information wow nice pics I love to hear bout old building big thumbs up on video. Take care ❤
I love big old houses, and I've always said I'd build a replica of this one if I ever won the lottery. Hope yall are having a great weekend!
Wow that molding! Talk about detail! You're great with history.❤✌️
If I remember right, most of the molding is original. There's so much about that place that I had to leave out. Yall have a great Fourth of July!
That house is amazing!!! Loved the video!

I wish the other pictures hadn't messed up! If you're a history nerd like me, Cassius Marcellus Clay is a fun person to read about. He was a wild man!
Cool information Scott nice history yes great video research of the clays you did

@@TalesoftheTeknohillbilly that’s crazy lol
Looks like an interesting place to visit !
It's really a cool place, and my video didn't come close to doing it justice. I'm glad people had the forethought to save it and fix it back up.
Learned a lot of fun facts about our state. Would love to hear about the “spooky” things.

The Clay men seemed to have pretty good hair, which probably contributed to their fortunes 😃. Interesting slice of history.
Literally LOLed! They had good hair, but you know it probably smelled like a wet dog. LOL
That bed looked like someone had sat on it. Those dolls 😮
I said something to our guide about how lumpy that bed was. I bet she had been up there napping. LOL
What an ornate home....Transylvania U, hum....a vampire🧛♂ Interesting history. You are a very good curator sir🐾🦊🐺 (Hok'ee says hello to Popeye)

I want to hear spooky lol
I'm gonna have to do a video about it. You're the third one to bring it up. But then again, I love talking about spook stuff!
@@TalesoftheTeknohillbilly You do the best job on history. I’ve missed this so much.
