tell you what chomp and his boat and crew may not be the prettiest in the fleet but that fucker can definitely fish
These "Marker Buoys" would almost invite poachers. For some scumbag to steal your catch AND equipment would be a huge risk.
And many of these boats are international. For a Japanese or Russian trawler to steal your catch would be hard to prove.

Interesting how the producers swept Linda Greenlaw's arrest/conviction for fishing in Canadian waters in Season 1 under the rug.

The american's over fished there waters they should not be in Canadian water doing the same damn thing send them home. They call 100 and 200 pound fish big they are small look at the films from the 1950s and 1960s you will see the size of fish there use to be they are wiping the fish out. And the crap about throwing the small fish back they don't.
